The Division 2 Releases Third Episode Next Month
The Division 2 is set to release its third episode next month with no specific date so far announced. The trailer for episode three shows a new area, Coney Island, that will have players searching for a scientist being held by Black Tusk, in a bid to find a cure for the plague ravaging the United States. The trailer also reveals a new weapon that players will be able to get their hands on, the flamethrower. Episode three will launch for free on all platforms simultaneously when it goes live.
Stadia Pro Adds Metro Exodus and Gylt to Free Games List
Google Stadia is adding Metro Exodus and Gylt to the serviceās list of free games for Stadia Pro subscribers starting February 1st. Google Stadia continues to grow their library of games and recently revealed that they plan to add more than 120 games to Stadia in 2020, including more than 10 games in the first half of this year alone that will āonly be available on Stadia when they launchā.
Byleth Enters Super Smash Bros. Ultimate With New Stage
The fifth and final character to be introduced in Super Smash Bros. Ultimateās first Fighters Pass, Byleth, from Fire Emblem: Three Housesā, enters the game along with a new playable stage, Garreg Mach Monastery. Described as a ādistance demonā, Byleth is able to use the Hero Relics, such as the Sword of the Creator, the Aymr axe and the Failnaught bow. Bylethās Final Smash is Progenitor God Final Heaven which will see Byleth team up with Sothis for a powerful attack.
One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows Drops New Trailer
One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows has dropped a new trailer revealing three new playable fighters for the upcoming fighting game. Joining the game will be Child Emperor, who uses mechanical arms in battle, Spring Mustachio who uses a rapier and Handsome Ikemen. One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is set to launch on February 27th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and will feature all the favorite characters from the show, including Hellish Blizzard, Saitama, Silver Fang and Genos.
Data Miners Uncover Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2
Destiny 2 data miners have seemingly discovered that the notoriously difficult Trials of Osiris is due to return to Destiny 2 as early as March 9th. Originally introduced into the original Destiny, Trials of Osiris was a multiplayer challenge that tasked players with teaming up and winning seven multiplayer matches without losing three. Winning all seven matches without losing one would give players access to the Lighthouse where they would receive the best rewards the game offered.
Rockstar Announces GTA Online and Red Dead Online Freebies
Rockstar announced that they will be rewarding players with GTA Onlineās biggest cash giveaway and a few special freebies for Red Dead Online players, after record-breaking ādaily, weekly and monthly average playersā. Players logging into GTA Online between January 30th and February 5th will receive $1 million and another $1 million for logging in between February 6th and February 12th. Red Dead Online players can log in now until February 3rd to receive a free Schofield Revolver, a Varmint Rifle and the Devastating Ammo bundle.
Prodeus Delayed Until Summer 2020

Overwatch Patch Hits Live Servers Five Days After Testing
Five days after landing on the public test servers, patch 1.44.0.1 hits the Overwatch live servers. Promising faster game updates, the Overwatch team delivers with the latest patch, describing it as an addition to the patch introduced on January 16th rather than it being its own standalone update. Hero updates in this latest patch include Reaperās passive healing dropping from 40% to 30%, Orisaās Fusion Driver, or primary fire, damage reduced from 11 to 10 and many more.
Riotās LCK Could Be Postponed Due to Coronavirus
Riot Games admits that League of Legends Champions of Korea, LCK, could be postponed if the Coronavirus worsens in the coming weeks. Riot Games have already postponed week two of the Chinese League of Legends Pro League indefinitely due to the outbreak and a Riot Korea official has revealed that they are ācarefully monitoring the current situation and are considering measures so that the tournament can be held safelyā. The Coronavirus continues to spread with cases almost doubling in one week.
TSM vs Immortals Brings in Over 300,000 Viewers for LCS
The North America League of Legends Championship Series, LCS, has kicked off and saw a peak viewer count of 366,522. This many watched the match-up between TSM and Immortals. Itās a great result for Riot Games after only recently having to delay the Chinese version indefinitely due to the Coronavirus outbreak and considering delaying the Korea competition. Fortunately, the LCS kicks on and week two will return to action on Saturday, February 1st with the match between CLG and 100 Thieves.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Update Lands on All Platforms
Infinity Ward has dropped a new patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that brings tweaks to weapons, fixes bugs and addresses spawn points. The game has received new modes, Deathmatch Domination and Gunfight Custom, with Capture the Flag moving to Quick Play. As well as a few minor bugs, such as an ATV exploit in Ground War, they have also replaced Shoot the Ship with Shipment being the gameās new 24/7 map. The update is now live across all platforms.
Cuphead Celebrates New DLC with 25% Discount
Studio MDHR Entertainment is pleased to announce that its hit platformer game, Cuphead is being offered at a 25% discount on the Nintendo Switch. Bandai Namco released a brand new trailer introducing the first DLC to make its way to CODE VEIN. This DLC features a new side story that eventually leads you into lethal combat with a brand new horrifying boss named, Hellfire Knight. Shanghai Dragons Relocate Players and Coaching staff Due to Coronavirus Epidemic
Shanghai Dragons formally announced that it will be moving its players and staff from China to South Korea as a result of the Coronavirus epidemic. In the said announcement, the team maintained that the safety of its players and staff remains a top priority. However, the team is expected to host its first home game of the season on February 15, 2020, as there has been no indication of rescheduling from neither the Overwatch League nor the team itself. The Overwatch Leagueās 3rd season commences on February 8, 2020.
New Warcraft 3: Reforged Acceptable User Policy Revealed
Warcraft 3: Reforged launched very recently and with it came some changes to its acceptable user policy. Some of the changes include the ban of using any copyrighted material from third parties. Also, another change is the instant and total copyright ownership of all custom games. This means that all the custom made games inside Warcraft 3: Reforged will belong to Blizzard and not the creators. What this also means is that anything in Warcraft 3: Reforged cannot be replicated anywhere else.
Geralt Coming to Resident Evil 2: Remake, Thanks to Mod
Another mod has been made for Resident Evil 2 and this time it brings in Geralt of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt into the game. The first mod had Ciri replace Claire, this time Geralt will be replacing Leon. Players who will be using these mods from Wiwilz will get to see the silver and steel swords found on Geraltās back, these, however, cannot be used as of the moment. But if you would want a Witcher experience in Resident Evil 2, you can use the knife, instead of the available guns.
