Over a Thousand Fortnite World Cup Cheaters Have Been Caught So Far
Epic Games has released a post which talks about “competitive game integrity.” The post discussed the actions Epic Games has taken for players who have been found cheating. There are a total of 1,163 accounts, which includes 196 prize winners, that have been banned from competitive play for 14 days because they tried getting around region lock and played in multiple regions. 48 accounts, including 9 prize winners, were also banned for 14 days due to account sharing. Eight accounts, including 1 prize winner, were also banned for teaming.
Katana ZERO Now Available on PC and Switch
Devolver Digital and developer askiisoft ‘s highly-anticipated action game Katana ZERO is available now on PC and Nintendo Switch! The game is violence-centered so this is solely for mature players. It features “breakneck action and instant-death combat” and players must slash and dash their way to defeat foes. There’s so much more to do in combat such as deflecting gunfire, dodging attacks, and even manipulating enemies and the environment using traps and explosives.
Ferret Scoundrels Steam Demo Now Underway, Dev Asks For Feedback
Developer Cryogenic Entertainment has launched a demo for its pen world pirate adventure game Ferret Scoundrels. Available as of April 19th, the demo will allow the developer to gather as much feedback as possible from players before they launch the game to Steam Early Access. Ferret Scoundrels features naval combat, exploration, trading, factions, and customization. As per the game’s Steam page, it is set to release in Summer of 2019.
Mortal Kombat 11’s Launch Trailer is a Trip Back in Time
Mortal Kombat 11 is out on April 23rd, and days ahead of its release, its launch trailer has been revealed. The official launch trailer is a trip back to memory lane, as it features a remixed version of Mortal Kombat’s original theme, “Techno Syndrome.” The trailer did not present something new in terms of gameplay, but it did focus on the game’s story, and it also includes a peek at some of the characters in action. Mortal Kombat 11 will be available on PC, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
One Piece: World Seeker Gets Its First DLC
Players of One Piece: World Seeker will soon get to play as the greatest swordsman in the series, Roronoa Zoro. The character will be joining the game as part of One Piece: World Seeker’s first DLC, The Void Mirror Prototype. The DLC is set to launch this summer, and will be available as part of the game’s Season Pass. Players can also opt to purchase it as a separate DLC.
Giga Wrecker Alt Release Date Announced
Giga Wrecker Alt. finally has a release date for consoles. The game first launched on PC via Steam back in February 2017. The game will be coming to the PlayStation 4 first on April 30th. It will be followed by Xbox One on May 2nd, and on the Nintendo Switch on May 3rd. The game will be launching digitally to these said platforms. Giga Wrecker Alt. is a 2D action/adventure and metroidvania inspired game which lets players solve puzzles as the protagonist Reika who has the ability to wreck things.
Two Worlds II’s Shattered Embraced DLC Announced
The long-awaited conclusion to Two Worlds 2’s story is coming later this year! Called Shattered Embrace, this DLC will be launching in Q3 2019 and is part of the game’s Season Pass. It’s also available as a standalone or a DLC. Two Worlds 2 released back in 2010, and with Shattered Embrace, the game will get over ten hours of gameplay, 100 new weapons, and 15 new sets of armor. Players can also join a new guild, cast new spells, and travel to new dimensions. The game is available on Steam.
Dead By Daylight Gets More Challenging Endgame
Developer Behaviour will be introducing a new feature to Dead By Daylight’s endgame which will give players a more challenging experience. Called “Endgame Collapse,” this feature will add a countdown timer during the final moments of a match. This timer will have both the killer and survivor scrambling for ways to eliminate each other. This timer will be triggered when the killer closes an exit hatch, or if a survivor opens an exit gate. Both have three minutes to finish each other.
Rune: Ragnarok to Skip Early Access and Will Fully Launch This Year
Human Head Studios has announced that they will be fully launching Rune: Ragnarok, and won’t be going through Early Access. Human Head said that they secured additional funding for them to deliver the gameplay experience they want their fans to play on Day 1. The studio is yet to announce a release date. The studio also announced that Rune: Ragnarok will receive post-launch content.
Medieval First-Person Game Mordhau Launches April 29th
Triternion has announced the release date for its first-person medieval melee game Mordhau. It is set to launch on April 29th, and will be available for players on PC. The game will let players enter into battle with 63 other players in a battlefield as a mercenary. The game features co-op and offline play, free-form melee and ranged combat, character customization, a huge arsenal of equipment and weapons, and much more.
Down to Hell’s First Episode Available Now on Steam
The first episode of Down to Hell has launched on Steam. Alongside this is also the launch of the game in Early Access. The Early Access version of the game will bring 5 episodes. The first episode has up to 4 hours of challenging fun as well as 4 epic boss battles. The next episodes will add new atmospheric environments, new enemies, new music, and new intricacies to the game’s combat system.
Assassin’s Creed Unity Steam Page Receive Surge Of Positive Reviews
A surge of reviews recently came to Assassin’s Creed Unity on Steam. These are all positive reviews though. This came about when Ubisoft gave Unity away for free for a limited amount of time after the disastrous fire at the Notre- Dame de Paris. Ubisoft even donated half a million euros to help in the cathedral’s restoration. Unity is set in 1789 Paris and had a virtual reconstruction of the famous church. Ubisoft wanted players of the game to experience how majestic and beautiful the cathedral was.
Cooperative Level-Building Platformer Levelhead Now Available On Steam Early Access
Butterscotch Shenanigans’ newest cooperative level-building platformer called Levelhead is now available on Steam Early Access. You will play as a new employee of the Bureau of Shipping and your job is to deliver packages all throughout the galaxy. You will have to go through training and you will be provided with a GR-18 robot that you are also able to train to make your work a little bit easier. You can play the campaign on your own or also play with up to four players locally.
Get To Team Up With Friends In The Wrecking Zone In Crackdown 3
Sumo and Microsoft has a new update for Crackdown 3 and it is for the Wrecking Zone mode. The new update will be adding Squad support to the game where you and your friends can partner up instead of going at it solo. Also, key add-ons have been shared for the other earlier Crackdown titles like Crackdown – Getting Busy and Deluge and Toy Box which are now available for free. The new squad support is now available so go ahead and team up with a friend and wreak havoc together!
Switch Cuphead Features Now Available For All Platforms
Cuphead recently launched on Switch and it actually came with additional features that are not available in the game’s PC, Mac and Xbox One versions. Thanks to the new 1.2 update, the new features are now available on every platform of the game. The update comes with some amazing quality-of-life features like choosing to play as Mugman instead of Cuphead is now available plus some animated videos instead of stills for the game’s cutscenes. Plus new localizations have also been added.
The Meditative Game Ritual Of The Moon Is Out Now
Kara Stone’s newest meditative game called Ritual of the Moon is now available. The game can be completed in 28 days as you will only have five minutes to play it every day. There will be memory games and symbol drawings available. You get to play as a witch that gets banished to the moon. The developer describes the game as a “multi-narrative game exploring loneliness, power, and healing.” Your decisions for each day for 28 days will be tracked which will lead you to one of the six endings.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Black Out Mode Tournament Announced!
Treyarch had partnered with BoomTV in order to host a tournament for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout mode’s newest map which is Alcatraz. It is easy to join, you would just have to sign up and you are ready to go. The tournament will be on April 25, 2019, from 2 PM EST to 9 PM EST. There is a prize pool of $40,000. Since this is an online tournament, players should be streaming their game with their teammates. BoomTV will be picking the top 5 best games and will be ranking them against everyone else.
Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission Free Demo Revealed
Bandai Namco revealed a teaser trailer for Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission’s free demo. The game has actually launched for PC and the Nintendo Switch on April 5th. If you are not sure whether to buy the game or not, you can try out the free demo. The demo will let players try out the game’s Story Mode that includes tutorials, a few missions as well as the Creation Mode where players are able to edit cards in the game. For those who already own the game, a new update will release soon.
Dark Devotion To Release On April 25th
Hibernian Workshop has announced that their upcoming action RPG called Dark Devotion will be having an April 25th release date. A gameplay overview has also been shared for the game which includes the game’s settings, enemies and bosses. Daymare: 1998 To Launch This Summer For PC
Daymare:1998 will launch this summer on PC as announced by developer Invader Games and publisher Destructive Creations and All In! Games. The game will be available on PC first and will soon have a PS4 and Xbox One release. Daymare: 1998 is a third-person horror game with a lot of different enemy types as well as detailed lifelike animations, dismemberment, and attacks. Players who are old enough will also enjoy the 90’s reference of the game like backtracking, limited ammo and save points.
The Crossover Event of Final Fantasy 14 and Final Fantasy 15 Has Started
The cross-over event of Final Fantasy 15 and Final Fantasy 14 has started and it will run through May 27th. The event is called “A Nocturn of Heroes” and introduces Noctis as well as his iconic car, the Regalia to the world of Eos. Enemies from Noctis’ world will also be crossing over like the magitek infantry. The event will allow you to have the same hair cut as Noctis, use a new Triple Triad card, ride the Regalia mount and even listen to the Final Fantasy 15 music.
The Crew 2 Launches New Trailer Introducing The Bugatti Divo
Ubisoft launched a new Crew 2 trailer and it shows off the Bugatti Divo which will be arriving in the game on April 24 as part of the free Hot Shots update. The new update will also be introducing the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X- Red Fury edition that has custom tires, smoke effects, and new performance tuning Scrap and Recaliber feature. To know more about the Hot Shots update a livestream will be available on April 23 on the Crew 2’s Twitch channel starting at 6 PM CEST or 12 PM ET.
