New Character Introduced In Overwatch: Strom Rising Event

Blizzard could be teasing a new character that could be coming to the Overwatch: Storm Rising event, and it looks like it will be Sojourn. She does play a big role in the event’s story, even having some kind of position of authority. She gives the instructions for the new mission assigning Tracer, Mercy, Winston and Genji for the task, and putting Tracer in charge of the team. Since she is giving the instructions, we can safely conclude that she is in the list of potential Overwatch heroes for the event.


New Rage 2 Cheat Code Voice Over Features Danny Dyer

Rage 2 is getting another cheat code and it is another commentary, however this time it is by Danny Dyer who is known for his work on the Eastenders TV series. He is one cheeky commentator, and his comments are perfect for the game’s chaotic combat. The cheat is called the “Diamond Geezer” cheat code and we get to hear the words like “Get yer nut down, son.”, “You injured? Just checkin’.” and of course some obscene words. What’s amazing is that the voice pack had been voiced by Dyer himself.


New Overwatch Archives Event Teased

The next Overwatch Archives event called Storm Rising has been teased and is set to start on April 16th and end on May 6th. Here, you will be going after the accountant of Doomfist named Maximilian. The teaser had only been an audio file found on Twitter and the strike team will be led by Tracer. There had been doubts about the strike team because of what previously happened with Reinhardt but they surely have come a long way from that and will have the job done successfully.


Anthem Update Brings So Many Fixes

The Anthem update has dropped and it is the update 1.0.4.02 and it comes with a lot of bug fixes. Thanks to the update the javelin component drop rates have been fixed as well as the cause of the occasional crashes of Nvidia. The Elysian Cache items problem has also been fixed and it will now “show up immediately after Stronghold finishes”. The Ursix and Titans will now also frequently spawn in Freeplay. The screen shake issue and the newsfeed issue had also been fixed and so much more.


Confirmed Games For E3 2019

E3 2019 is set for June 11 to 13 and the expected games are Cyberpunk 2077, Gears 5, Halo Infinite, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Session, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Doom Eternal, Skull & Bones, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Pokemon Sword and Shield, Animal Crossing Switch, Control, Dying Light 2, FIFA 20, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Borderlands 3 and The Outer Worlds. Other games that could potentially be seen are Battlefield 6, Elder Scrolls 6, Starfield, Splinter Cell, Forza Motorsport 8 and more.


Leaving Early Penalty In Apex Legends Accidentally Goes Live

Respawn has accidentally included in their April 4 update a planned feature in Apex Legends which will give early quitters a penalty. The bug was quickly disabled when players reported it. In an update in the game’s subreddit, community manager Jay Frechette said that they are indeed working on the feature, but it was not their intention to release it earlier than planned. He further added that he doesn’t have an ETA as to when it will be officially released.


Pierre Taki In Judgement To Be Replaced

The game Judgement had been pulled of sale in Japan because of actor Pierre Taki who was arrested in Japan for alleged Cocaine use. Taki plays as Kyohei Hamura in the game and lends both his likeness and voice to it. The Yakuza Team are now hard at work in order to replace Taki in the game. This would mean replacing the character model as well as re-recording all the dialogue. The pull out of sales for the game in Japan is not permanent and the western release will not be affected by this.


Borderlands Intro Features Apex Legends Characters In Fan Remake

A sweet treat has been made by a fan mixing up the Borderlands intro with Apex Legends characters. The video was made by McArctico and we get to see a lot of flashy finishers and amazing kills with Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked playing in the background. World of Warcraft Classic PvP Plan Revealed

Blizzard shared its PvP content plans for World of Warcraft Classic. According to Blizzard, World of Warcraft Classic will follow World of Warcraft’s release pattern for its content. First, there won’t be a “formal PvP system” when it launches, so players can kill as they please. Phase 2 will change this as the Honor System will be rolled out. Phase 3 will mark the arrival of Alterac Valley and Warsong Gulch. While Arathi Basin will be added on Phase 4. Phase 6 will add World PvP objectives in Silithus and Eastern Plagueland.


Borderlands GOTY Players Are Having Problems With Co-Op Play

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition debuted last week on PC and consoles, however, it looks like it’s off to a rocky launch as players have reported that they have been encountering connectivity issues. Luckily, Gearbox said that they are looking into the issue. At the moment, the studio is “currently testing new fixes to address the Borderlands: Game of the Year connectivity issues.” They also offered Gold Keys to their community as a form of thanks.


Z1 Battle Royal Going Back To Daybreak

NantG Mobile has announced that Z1 Battle Royale will be back in the hands of Gearbox. In a post on Steam, NantG said they came to this decision because they “realized that the road is still paved with many challenges” that could hinder them to achieve long-term success. The studio will instead focus on developing mobile games moving forward. This means Gearbox will now be Z1 Battle Royale’s publisher again and will be under the same banner as H1Z1.


Anno 1800 Might Be an Epic Games Exclusive

Recent developments suggest that Steam might be losing another title to Epic’s Storefront. The title in question is Anno 1800. Initially, the city-builder strategy-sim was destined for Steam. Now the game’s Steam page reads, “Sales of Anno 1800 will be discontinued on Steam after April 16th due to a publisher decision to make the game exclusive to another PC store.” However, the publisher assures the fans that all prior Steam sales will be fulfilled as agreed.


Resident Evil 2 Has a Paid Unlock

Capcom has presented a means by which players can purchase a shortcut to unlocking rewards in Resident Evil 2. The game is one with a lot of replayability as players are constantly seeking new ways to improve upon their last performance. Consequently, the developer is selling a new “All In-Game Rewards Unlock” DLC. This will drastically limit the prevalence of any prior restrictions which will be reflected in a player’s rank. Bethesda has announced that new repair kits are currently live in Fallout 76. Kitana Added as Playable Character in Mortal Kombat 11

Kitana is the most recent character to be revealed as a part of NetherRelam’s Mortal Kombat 11 roster. Routinely, the announcement was supported by the character’s trailer. Said trailer showed some footage of a fight between Kitana and Scorpion. As MK11 draws near, the roster is being unveiled little by little. This most recent confirmation comes not as a surprise but as a source of excitement for vintage Mortal Kombat supporters, considering the character is indeed a fan favorite.


Anthem Rolls Out Tons of Fixes in Latest Update

Anthem’s 1.0.4.02 update came baring a multitude of fixes as promised. Anthem’s global community manager, Jesse Anderson had previously hinted at a few of the changes that will take effect upon updating the game. He said there would be a significant decrease in the drop rate of components for javelins that players aren’t using. He also teased that loot from Elysian Caches will “show up immediately after a Stronghold finishes.” Now players will see said changes and more come to fruition.

Roblox Corporation has much to celebrate as their MMO Roblox has just hit a massive milestone of 90 million monthly active players. For have are unaware, Roblox is a free-to-play online game creation platform that lets users design their own games and play other players’ creations. One astounding fact to note is that between September and now the game garnered a whopping 20 million of the 90. Apparently, Roblox serves as a sort of heaven for players under the age of 18.


Black Ops 4 Infected Mode Available for PS4 Players

Treyarch and Activision has finally brought Infected Mode to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4! This highly popular mode has been one of the highly anticipated additions to the game, and fans of the series will definitely welcome this with open arms. In Infected Mode, one player plays as the zombie, while the rest are normal players. The goal is to not get infected. The Division 2 Returns to the Top of the Weekly UK Sales Chart

Ubisoft’s The Division 2 is back at the top of the Weekly UK Sales Chart. This is the first time since Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Yoshi’s Crafted World beat it to the top spot for the past couple of weeks. Following it is FIFA 19 which still sits strongly at number 2. Warhammer 40K Inquisitor – Martyr’s 2.0 Update to Launch May 28th

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is set to receive its 2.0 update on May 28th. This update will increase the level cap to 100, and it also adds special quest Challenges. It also adds an endgame item tier. Loot is also getting improved with the update rolling out, so players will find more balanced drops for their levels. The game’s story will now also be playable in co-op following this update.


Black Desert Online Shuts Down Shadow Arena Battle Royale Mode

Shadow Arena, a battle royale mode added to Black Desert Online, is going to shut down. Pearl Abyss said in a statement that focusing on new updates for the said mode deviated them from their original direction and that they can’t run Shadow Arena as a regular feature anymore. So, they’re closing down Shadow Arena with the game’s April 10th update. Pearl Abyss promised that they will be introducing new content to the game.
