Stellaris’ Megacorp Expansion Arrives in December

The new expansion for Stellaris has been announced by Paradox and it is called Megacorp. This will be arriving on December 6th and will be coming with a free update. Megacorp will allow spacelords to make their empires into megacorporations! This will add unique civics, technologies, buildings and more. Megastructures will be available as well – like the Matter Decomposer and the Intersellar Assembly. There will be a slave market as well as three fleets of trade caravans that will be roaming.


Kingdom Hearts 3 Has Gone Gold!

Square Enix is proud to announce that Kingdom Hearts 3 has gone gold, meaning the game’s development is complete. The announcement was done via a tweet by Director Tetsuya Nomura. A trailer has also been released where we can see the protagonists of the game Sora, Donald, Goofy and more going against the different Disney villains from various movies like Frozen and Pirates of the Caribbean. Kingdom Hearts 3 will be launching on January 25, 2019, available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Definitive Editions of Total War Medieval 2, Napoleon and Empire Out Now on Steam

Three older Total War titles have been updated with Definitive Editions and are now available on Steam! Total War: Medieval 2, Napoleon: Total War, and Total War: Empire are now available in Definitive Edition on Steam, and these include all DLC and expansions released. Users who already own the old versions of these games will get these updated to Definitive Edition for free.


Fortnite Adds Wild West Limited Time Mode in Newest Patch

Epic Games has released patch 6.30 for Fortnite which includes a new Limited Time Mode called Wild West. As its name suggests, it is Wild West-themed, and players can only use weapons and items that cowboys and cowgirls use. Weapons are limited to Hunting Rifle, Pump Shotgun, Double Barrel Shotgun, Six Shooter, and Minigun only. Items you can use are also limited to: Campfire, Bandages, Medical Kits, Dynamite, and Slurp Juice. Dynamites are also included, but Epic temporarily removed them because of client crashes.


Fixes Coming to Underworld Ascendant

Underworld Ascendant, the first-person dungeon crawler that launched this year, is really not looking good as it has a current rating of “mostly negative” on Steam. However, the game’s director, Joe Fielder shared a brief post saying that the development team is working on the game. They were recently able to launch two hotfixes and promises another hotfix to be arriving for next week. The fixes will be addressing the crashes, slowdowns, and overall gameplay improvements of the game.


Mutant Year Zero System Requirements Revealed

The system requirements for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden have been announced by publisher Funcom and it is quite light so most if not all can surely play it. The minimum CPU needed is an Intel Core i5-760, 6 GB RAM for Memory, 8 GB Disk Space, an Nvidia GTX 580 or an AMD Radeon HD 7870 for GPU. So, what this means is that anything higher than this can play the game smoothly. The recommended specs are an Intel Core i7-6700K, 8 GB of space as well as an Nvidia GTX 970 or an AMD Radeon RX 480 GPU.


Blizzard is Fixing Overwatch Hero Ashe’s Aim

Overwatch’s new hero Ashe came out from the game’s PTR last week, and now players have discovered something wrong with her aim. After one fan created a lengthy post on Reddit, Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan confirmed that Ashe indeed has some aim issues, and the team is now working on a proper fix. He added that a fix is on the way, but not right away, so we can’t expect the aim issue to get resolved soon.


SWERY’s The Good Life Heading to Xbox One

Studio White Owls announced that their next game, called The Good Life – where humans become cats and dogs when the sun sets – will also be releasing for Xbox One. This announcement was made during the X018 event that was held in Mexico last November 10th and one more time in Japan on November 20th. The game will also be available via the Xbox Game pass where 100 games are available to play for $9.99 a month. The Good Life is set to launch by Fall of 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Media Molecule’s Dreams Beta Still Coming This Year

Media Molecule has announced a beta for their game Dreams, but a lot of time has passed and the studio still hasn’t provided a definite date. The Dreams beta was supposed to kick off back in 2016, but was delayed to an unspecified date. Fast forward to two years, and there’s a huge possibility the beta will happen soon, as the studio announced a livestream on November 28th. They also said the game is still set to be released before this year ends.


Latest Resident Evil 2 Trailer Shows Licker Gameplay

A new trailer for Resident Evil 2 has been released, and it gives us an idea what horrors players will face when the game launches on January 25th. The trailer is 15 minutes long, and it shows Claire Redfield battling her way through dark, adrenaline-pumping chain of events. She gets to take on lickers and comes face to face with Brian Irons. The lickers are blind, creepy creatures, but that doesn’t stop them from attacking anyone who’s in their way.


Pillars of Eternity 2 Deadfire’s Forgotten Sanctum DLC Gets Release Date

The final premium expansion for Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire now has a release date! Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire’s The Forgotten Sanctum DLC will arrive December 13, 2018. It can be purchased separately for 9.99 Dollars, or as part of the game’s Season Pass. The Forgotten Sanctum brings a new adventure with new quests and dungeons players can explore. Alongside the release of this DLC also comes patch 4.0 for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire which brings new features, additional god challenges, and two new Mega Bosses.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is Coming to Star Wars Battlefront 2!

The next big update for Star Wars Battlefront 2 is arriving next week, and this adds one of the biggest names in the franchise: Obi Wan Kenobi! He will be joining Star Wars Battlefront 2 starting November 26th. He comes with a lightsaber, has a bigger stamina pool, and can deflect attacks more effectively. He also has an All-Out Push ability that releases a powerful Force blast in front of him and then damages enemies and pushes them backwards. He also has abilities called Defensive Rush and Restrictive Mind Trick.


Blizzard is Having a Black Friday Sale!

Blizzard is hosting its own Black Friday sale! From now until November 30th, you can get discounts on Blizzard and Activision games, and even try some of them for free! First up is Overwatch which is currently hosting a free play week until November 26th. It’s also available at up to 75% off up to November 28th. The base Diablo 3 game is also discounted at 50% off as well as Reaper of Souls, Rise of the Necromancer and Battle Chest. On the Activision side, Black Ops 4 is at 20% off, and Destiny 2 Forsaken is at 35% off.


No Man’s Sky’s Visions Update Confirmed

Mark your calendars, explorers, as No Man’s Sky’s new update, Visions, has been confirmed by Hello Games! The new update is heading to the game on Thanksgiving Day. It will introduce “new planetary biomes, more colorful worlds, new fauna and flora, archeology, salvaging, and more.” This update also features new aesthetics, a new multitool that can uncover ancient bones as well as fallen satellites, and crashed freighters that players can explore for valuable cargo, and much more! The Visions update is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.


Warframe with Account Migration Now on Switch

Warframe has finally launched on Switch and it comes with a free “starter pack” that includes 50,000 credits, a 3-day gear rank booster, Forma, and a double mod capacity Orokin Reactor item. This pack will only be available up until December 4th. The game is currently available for PC and PS4 and has remained free-to-play with cosmetic purchases. If you have played the game before and would now want to play it on your Nintendo Switch, you can do so by migrating your account from PC to Switch.


Nuketown is Now on Black Ops 4 for Xbox One and PC

Nuketown is live now on Call of Duty Black Ops 4 for Xbox One and PC players, a week after it first launched on PlayStation 4. The map comes through a new update that’s at least 10GB in size. Nuketown is a fan favorite map, and this one on Black Ops 4 comes with a limited-time event where Zombies invade Nuketown Island with a new Zombies Stash spawn location appearing behind the Nuketown sign. The update also includes over 70 bug fixes and gameplay improvements.


Red Dead 2 Sells Three Times as Many as the First Game in Just Nine Days Since Launch

Red Dead Redemption 2’s sales are very impressive! Since the game’s launch week this October, it has already tripled its sales as compared to Red Dead Redemption that launched in May 2010. The game had the biggest opening weekend, gathering 725 million Dollars retail worldwide in just three days of its launch. Red Dead Redemption 2 is the best selling game for October and for the year 2018 so far, according to the data gathered by NPD. This outing is the best-selling game of the series thus far.


Pinnacle Weapons Coming to Destiny 2

Three new and powerful Pinnacle weapons are heading to Destiny 2 next week as it marks the start of Season of the Forge. The weapons are for Vanguard missions, Gambit, and Crucible, and it’s worth noting that these will be easy to acquire. First up is the “Loaded Question” which is a high-impact fusion rifle that has a Reservoir Burst unique perk. Next is “Breakneck” which is a kinetic rifle, and the third one is the kinetic grenade launcher “The Mountaintop.” Season of the Forge begins November 27th.


Star Citizen Lets You Explore Its First World in New Update

If you own a copy of Star Citizen, you’ll get to explore the space sim’s first world thanks to its latest update. This comes ahead of the game’s free week which is slated to take place from November 23rd until the 30th. The first world is called Hurston. It is much larger than the moons players have been exploring, and contains multiple biomes, a city called Lorville, and mining locations. Players can get around Lorville through its transit system.


Kenshi is Leaving Early Access Soon

Kenshi, a post-apocalyptic role-playing game, is ready to leave early access on December 6, 2018. The game initially popped up on Steam Early Access in 2013, having almost 12 years of development under its belt. Kenshi offers a massive sandbox that offers an RTS, sometimes squad management, at times trading RPG and many other things which depend on the role that you decide to play in the game. Playing the game would remind you of Mount & Blade: Warband which is also a mixture of different genres.


Planetside 2 Gets a Fourth Faction

Planetside 2 is getting a fourth faction six years after it first launched. The huge-scale FPS is celebrating its sixth anniversary this year, and its new faction, Nanite Systems Operatives, were introduced during a livestream. Nanite Systems Operatives are neutral mercs, and can join and fight on behalf of any faction that has the lowest population in the zone. They are exclusive to members, though. Nanite Systems Operatives are now available in the game’s test servers.
