Path of Exile’s Betrayal Expansion Revealed in New Trailer
A new trailer has been released for the expansion of the free-to-play action role-playing game Path of Exile. The expansion is called Betrayal and it is all about the Immortal Syndicate. You will have to investigate this mysterious organization as well as dismantle its four divisions. The Syndicate has eighteen members. In order to further your investigation, you must bargain, execute, question, as well as push them to betray each other. The expansion is set to launch on December 7, 2018.
Spider-Man Turf Wars DLC Release Date Announced
Insomniac Games has announced when the next DLC will be coming to Marvel’s Spider-Man. Turf Wars is set to launch on November 20th and will be bringing new story missions centered around crime boss Hammerhead and his all-out war with the other Dons of the Maggia. We’ll see our web-slinging hero teaming up with Yuri Watanabi to combat the outbreak of violence in the city streets. Three new suits are also coming with Turf War — Spider-Armor MKI, Spider-Clan, and the Iron Spider Armor.
PUBG PS4 Comes With Exclusive Cosmetics
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is coming to the PlayStation 4 and it will come with some console exclusive cosmetics! For those who pre-order the game, the skins will include Nathan Drake’s outfit from the Uncharted series and the backpack of Ellie from The Last of Us. A special avatar as well as a Miramar console are also available for those who will pre-order the digital version. A day one bonus will also be included which is a PlayStation themed parachute. PUBG on PS4 is set to release on December 7.
Sea Exploration Game ABZU Heads to Switch
ABZU, the serene underwater exploration game, is coming to the Nintendo Switch. The game originally launched on PC in August of 2016, followed soon after by console releases. Now, developer Giant Squid and publisher 505 Games have announced that ABZU will be launching on Nintendo’s hybrid console come November 28th. The game will be priced similarly as on other platforms, but pre-ordering will get you a 10% discount. The Switch version will include all content and updates released for the game.
Fork Knife Character to be Added in Fortnite Save the World
Fortnite is getting a new character called ‘The Major’ and he can be seen in the game’s Save the World portion. He is found in the game’s Training Room after you meet him in the campaign. What’s interesting about this character is that he sports a fork and a knife for a hand. If you’ve been a fan of the game, then you must be familiar with the internet meme for Fortnite which is “Fork Knife”. If you are asking, why the fork and the knife for a hand, now you know. The Major is coming with the UI front-end update.
Black Ops 4 Update Includes Speed Cola, Nuketown, and More
Call of Duty 4 is getting a new update and it will include Nuk3town plus tweaks and fixes. The new major update was released by Treyarch and it comes with the most awaited Nuk3town which is for free for PlayStation 4 players. PlayStation 4 players can take advantage of the Daily Tier Skips, Blackjack’s Shop, Blackout and may more. Battle Princess Madelyn Release Date Announced
Battle Princess Madelyn is the newest game from Casual Bit Games and the game’s launch date has been announced with a new trailer that features the game’s story and some gameplay. The game is set to release on December 6th and will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will also have a release date for Wii and PS Vita by 2019. Get to follow the story of Madelyn and Fritzy, her ghost pet dog that sacrificed his life for her, as they try and save her family who has been kidnapped.
PUBG Bans Over 90,000 Players in a Week
PUBG Corp has reportedly banned over 90,000 players in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for a period of one week between October 28 and November 3. The exact number is at 93,599. The reason for this massive ban was that these players have been found to be using hacking tools and software to cheat. Cheating has been an on-going problem in PUBG, and just the past year, Bluehole reported that they permanently banned 13 million players for cheating in the past year and a half.
Action-RPG Undead Horde heads to Steam This Year
Undead Horde, a fantasy action RPG that lets players play as necromancers, is heading to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is slated for a late 2018 release. In Undead Horde, players take on the role of a necromancer who has the ability to raise the dead. They also have the ability to slay their enemies and then turn them into underlings. An unlimited amount of procedurally generated weapons and magical items are also available at the player’s disposal.
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Demo Access Included in Pre-Orders for PC
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden will be available for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 starting December 4th 2018, and pre-orders are now already available. Players who pre-order the game’s Deluxe Edition on PC will instantly get access to the game’s demo which includes the first 2 to 4 hours of the game. Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden features tactical combat which were inspired by XCOM games. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world where mutants abound.

GTA Online is all business this week! In-game CEOs now have access to 50% bonus GTA Dollars across Import/Export Sell Missions, plus a 50% discount on Special Cargo Crates. EA Will Remaster the First Two Command and Conquer Games
It’s confirmed! EA will remaster the first two Command & Conquer games in 4K, including all its expansions! Work will begin with Tiberian Dawn and Command and Conquer: Red Alert. EA went as far as recruiting Petroglyph Games to help in creating the remastered versions of these games. At this time, there are very little details as to what EA’s plans are, and work has not started on the remasters yet, but EA assures that they will take the community’s feedback into consideration for the remasters.
Telltale Games Has Filed for Bankruptcy
It looks like Telltale Games will be completely shutting down, according to GameDaily. The co-founder of the company Martin Pitchinson was able to enlist the help of Sherwood Partners, a third-party company to oversee the liquidation of assets for Telltale. Also, since the company is completely closing down, the government mandated health benefits is coming to an end by November 30th. Telltale Games previously had massive layoffs so the closing of the company is not really a surprise.
Rainbow Six Siege Free to Play This Weekend
To celebrate Rainbow Six Siege’s third anniversary, Ubisoft will have a free to play weekend for the game starting November 15th up until Sunday, November 18th. The free-to-play campaign will be available for all the game’s platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Also, discounts for the game and different editions will be available until November 30th. Playing in the free-to-play weekend will allow you to carry over your progress once you decide to purchase the full game.
Space Exploration Game Astroneer Launches February 6th on PC and Xbox One
Space exploration game Astroneer had a successful Early Access run, and finally, it’s ready for its official launch! System Era Softworks announced that the game will officially release on the Xbox One and on Windows 10 PCs on February 6th, 2019. To those who don’t know, Astroneer is a game that is heavily influenced by Minecraft and No Man’s Sky. Players will play as a space explorer who will not only travel the solar system, but also find resources to craft vehicles and build bases.
Subnautica Officially Launches on Xbox One
Subnautica, the underwater exploration game that’s already available on PC, is now also ready for its version 1.0 launch on Xbox One after a successful run in the Xbox Game Preview program. Subnautica’s 1.0 version will launch December 4, 2018 on the Xbox One. Those who have digital copies will be updated automatically for free, while those who want physical copies can secure theirs starting December 7th in Europe, and December 4th in the United States. The game is also planned for release on PlayStation 4.
Devil May Cry 5 Pre-Loading Available Now
The release of Devil May Cry 5 is still months away but the game is already available for pre-loading. You can pre-load the game as early as five months ahead of release. The pre-load is a total of 29.75 GB. This may be the earliest pre-loading ever. If you have really bad connection you can download 250 MB per day to be ready by launch day. Once successfully downloaded at an earlier time, you will be receiving a note saying that the game is not ready to play yet. Devil May Cry 5 will launch on March 8 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Command and Conquer Remaster Collection Won’t Have Microtransactions
EA’s Command and Conquer remasters is definitely good news especially for fans of the game. And to top it off, the company also confirmed that the remasters will come with zero microtransactions. In its blog post, EA said the game wouldn’t be the same without its classic expansions Covert Ops, Counterstrike, and Aftermath, so they’re also remastering them, which then results to the remastered versions not having microtransactions as these will be bundled with the base games into one remastered collection.
Fortnite Gets a Food Fight Mode for a Limited Time
Fortnite is getting a new limited time mode with the new update. The new mode is called the Food Fight Mode where two teams of 12 will be pitted together. The goal is to protect your mascot from the other team, in this case, one is a Burger head mascot and the other is a tomato head mascot. The first few minutes will give you and your team the chance to fortify the area around your mascot and the barrier will be lifted and it is an all-out war. This is like a cross between capture the flag and protect-the-VIP mode.
This War of Mine Gets New Story Episode
Developer 11 Bit Studios’ This War of Mine has received its second new DLC episode called The Last Broadcast and is now available on PC. The Last Boradcast is the second out of the three planned “Stories” for the game. The first one, called Father’s Promise, was released last year. The second DLC is described as the “biggest expansion to date” and is set in the fictitious war-torn city of Pogoren. The DLC features the main character Malik, a radio broadcaster.
Fighting EX Layer Launches on PC This Month
Fighting Ex Layer finally has a PC release date which is November 30th and it will include discounts for the first week. The game was previously a PS4 exclusive that released this year. The 3D fighter includes a roster of characters that are a part of the Street Fighter EX series from the mid-1990’s. Some of you may be familiar with D. Dark, Shirase, Skullomania, and Shadow Geist and so much more. The PC version will also come with the new Arcade and offline versus modes plus two additional characters.
Left Alive’s Main Characters Introduced in New Trailer
Left Alive has a new trailer and it focuses on the game’s 3 main characters. The video showcases the story from the perspective of the three main characters Mikhail, Olga, and Leonid. Each of them lead their own separate missions in the story. The trailer also shows some gameplay, including stealth, some action, and piloting a mech. Left Alive will be available starting March 5, 2019 on PC and PlayStation 4.
