Blizzard Working on More PvE and Story Events for Overwatch

Blizzard says they are working on more content for their multiplayer game Overwatch, particularly more PvE and story events. This stemmed from positive player feedback from previous ones such as Uprising and Retribution. Blizzard noted how the Overwatch community clamor for more story – it has not been met yet, but they are aware of the huge demand. For now these are all they can say about the future of the game, but what we’re sure of is that Overwatch is not over just yet.


Fallout 76 Release Times Revealed

Playing Fallout 76 on launch day? We’ve got all the details exactly when the game will be available for you! Fallout 76 will be launching November 14th and will unlock in Australia at 12:01 AEST and the UK at 12:01 GMT. Those in North America will be able to play at 12:01 Eastern Time, or 9:01 Pacific. Those in Asia will be able to play starting midnight of November 15 in Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore. Pre-loading is now available, and it’s a hefty 60GB in size.


Fortnite Gets Mounted Turrets

Fortnite is getting a new weapon and it is the mounted turret! The weapon might be coming real soon to the game, as some players spotted it in an in-game message. Like in Port-a-Fort, the mounted turret is a static item which is thrown into the ground. The in-game message also contains this description of the mounted turret: “Place the Mounted Turret and hop in to apply some suppressive fire! Careful not to overheat.” We can expect more details about this soon


Multi-Generational RPG Kynseed Now on Steam Early Access

A multi-generational RPG from developer PixelCount Studios is coming to Steam Early Access and it is called Kynseed. The premise of the game will have you and the generations after you protecting a magical acorn. As the new generation is born, they will have the choice to carry on what their parents have been doing for generations or choose a different path. There will be combat, adventure, farming, and some NPCs to create relationships with. Kynseed is planned to stay in early access for about a year.


Red Dead Redemption 2 Still Tops UK Sales for the Third Week

For the third time around Red Dead Redemption 2 is still in the top spot of the UK Sales Charts. This marks the third week of Red Dead Redemption 2 in the top spot of the said sales chart. The sales did go down 53% as compared to last week but it still holds the number one spot beating Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. According to Gameindustry.biz’s report, the game was able to ship 17 million copies worldwide as compared with the first outing of the game. The game has reached $735 million during its opening weekend.


Creatures Inc. Early Access Date Announced

Creatures Inc., an upcoming game that will be available on Steam Early Access starting January 22, 2019 has been announced. The game combines management and action in its gameplay. The game lets players run their own hunting company, as well as complete client contracts. Contracts include hunting creatures, saving civilians, and even catching creatures and taming them. Tamed beasts can fight alongside players in future missions. The game is currently open for pre-orders.


Hitman GOTY Legacy Pack Free on Xbox Live

The original Hitman game from 2016 is free on Xbox Live! the Hitman Game of the Year Legacy Pack is free for players who are subscribed with Xbox Live. It contains all remastered locations and missions from Season 1 as well as The Game of The Year Upgrade. The Legacy Pack also includes the prologue to Hitman 2. We Happy Few Gets New Patch

Compulsion Games has released a new patch for We Happy Few. Patch 1.5 comes with improvements to memory usage as well as on framerate. It also includes a number of fixes for bugs, rare and random crash issues, and more. The update will also bring some localization and subtitles to the game. The patch notes is quite lengthy. Patch 1.5 will be downloaded automatically on Steam or on the Windows Store.


NieR Automata’s 2B Comes to Dark Souls Remastered

A new mod has been made available for Dark Souls Remastered all thanks to modder “Cherrydoom’. The mod will bring 2B from NieR Automata to Dark Souls, replacing the main character. According to ‘Cherrydoom’, this model will replace the Hard Leather Armor set so players can select the Warrior class at the start of the game. The mod is available for both male and female characters and the parts can be mixed and matched as it comes in separate pieces. This is one really cool mod that you wouldn’t want to miss.


The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince Release Date Revealed

The Lair Princess and the Blind Prince finally gets a release date which is on February 12, 2019, and it will be available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Get to enjoy an endearing story of two lonely souls coming from a terrible misunderstanding and head on over to an ending fit for fairytales. The game does require both brains and brawn as you go through the obstacles placed before you. Switch between your wolf form for strength and back to the princess for cleverness to lead the prince.


Seoul Dynasty Gearing Up for Overwatch League’s 2019 Season

Overwatch League team Seoul Dynasty is gearing up for the 2019 season of the league! The team’s general manager Ho-cheol “Hocury” Lee shared in an interview how they are going about their preparations. According to Lee, they are focusing on three different pillars: unity, professionalism, and positive energy. The team is also focusing on being more efficient during practices by analyzing scrim videos and data, and then giving players feedback.

Nominees for The Game Awards 2018 Announced

The nominees for The Game Awards 2018 have been named! There are 30 categories this year including Game of the Year, Games for Impact, best ongoing Game, and More. Nominees for Game of the Year are Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Celeste, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Monster Hunter: World, and Red Dead Redemption 2. Winners will be announced on December 6th. You can vote for your favorite games at The Game Awards’ website.


Valve Rewards Researcher Who Discovered Unlimited Free Game Bug with $20,000

Valve has awarded 20,000 Dollars to a researcher who discovered a bug that apparently generates thousands of CD key codes for any game on Steam. The bug can be exploited by changing a single parameter. The researcher, named Artem Moskowsky, used the bug and was able to generate 36,000 codes for Portal 2. He contacted Valve about the bug back in August, and the company has issued a fix just this past week. They awarded him $15,000 for contacting them privately, and another $5,000 for keeping mum while they fix the issue.


PUBG is Officially Coming to PS4 This December

It’s been a long time coming but PUBG Corp. has finally revealed when PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be arriving on PlayStation 4. In a post over at the Playstation blog, development project manager Joon Choi announced that PUBG will launch on December 7th with 4 editions up for pre-order. Those who pre-order will also be treated to a Nathan Drake desert outfit from the Uncharted series, Ellie’s Backpack from The Last of Us, and an exclusive PSN avatar and PS4 theme.


Fallout 76 Beta Achievements Won’t Retroactively Unlock at Launch

Heads up, achievement hunters! Although most of your progress from the Fallout 76 beta carried over to the full game, your achievements did not. This means that you’ll have to either re-earn them with your current character or create a new character to get them. If achievements don’t bother you too much, then you should be just fine. Pete Hines explained in a tweet that achievements and trophies don’t work retroactively, which is why all of them will have to be re-earned.


Monster Hunter World Packed With Events This November

Looks like November is one busy month in Monster Hunter World! On November 16th, the special cross-over event with Devil May Cry 5 will be launched and will last for two weeks. During the event, players will get a number of special items which include a Dante-themed sword and armor set. Lunastra will also be heading to the game on November 22nd. There’s also the Kulve Taroth Siege which ends November 15th.


Ashe is Now Live in Overwatch

Overwatch patch 1.30 is now live, which means the new hero Ashe has gone from the PTR to the live servers. Ashe packs a semi-automatic lever-actio rifle and a short-range, high-impact sidearm than can knock enemies, or Ashe, backwards. Her ultimate summons B.O.B., a big, bad Omnic that can plow through enemies with ease. Bear in mind though that the update is a 20-gigabyte download and will require a full reinstallation of the game, something Blizzard announced earlier. Also, Ashe won’t be available in Competitive Play for two weeks.


Epic Games Removes Glider Redeploy Mechanic in Fortnite

Epic Games has rolled back the glider redeployment feature for Fortnite in the v6.30 update. For now, the mechanic has been restricted back to big team game modes as it had been before the v6.20 update. Epic said, “We did not live up to expectations of quickly iterating on the mechanic and communicating plans.” This just means that Epic will take more time on making sure the mechanic is balanced and that no abusive or disruptive playstyles can be developed around it.


First Details on Next Two Operators for Rainbow Six Siege Revealed

The details of the first two Moroccan operators of Rainbow Six Siege have been revealed. These are leaked information as the complete reveal is said to be on November 17 to 18. First up is the Defender Jalal “Kaid” El Fassi who was able to rise to the ranks of Royal Moroccan Gendarmerie. One of his gadgets is the “Rtila Electroclaw” which can electrify any walls or shields. The other operator is Nomad an Attacker and she has some kind of concussion or shockwave explosives that pops up enemies in the air.


Fortnite NFL Skins Removed After Less Than a Week

The NFL Jersey Skins have been removed from the Fortnite in-game store, just under a week since they were added. Epic Games said that players who already purchased their NFL skins can keep them. Whether or not these will be back in the game, is anyone’s guess at this point. It is also not clear why Epic Games decided to remove these skins from the in-game store, and why they had to remove it after a very short amount of time.


Toronto Esports Drops Out of Overwatch League

Following a team naming dispute, a series of unusual tweets, and an ultimatum from Blizzard, Toronto Esports has dropped out of the Overwatch League. Toronto Esports managed the Contenders team of Boston Uprising named Toronto Uprising, but was instructed by Blizzard to remove “Toronto” from their brand as Toronto Defiant had bought exclusive naming rights. Toronto Uprising will continue to compete as a team under a new brand, details of which they’ll announce at a later time.


Fallout 76 Post-Launch Updates Revealed

Bethesda has shared a post about Fallout 76’s post-launch updates and it is called “Launch and Beyond”. Here we get to know what the devs are currently working on for the game. The list includes CAMP building improvements, new events, new quests, character respecing, new Vaults opening, a faction-based PvP system and so much more. The post also included that the devs would want to create a new type of Fallout experience for the players. The post can be seen on Bethesda’s official website.
