Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Trailer Showcases Vegeta and Goku’s Rivalry in Vegeta’s Eyes

Bandai Namco’s most recent trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot features Goku’s closes rival, Vegeta. The video is narrated by Vegeta himself, who’s obviously frustrated at how Goku can balance having incredible powers and being kind at the same time. He ultimately concedes at the end, admitting Goku is the best there is in the universe. The video also showcased some of the most iconic events in the anime which players can also relive in the game.


Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed to September

CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077’s release will be delayed to September 17, 2020. Its original launch date was April 16th. According to the developer, the game is at the stage where it is complete and playable, however, there’s still work they need to get done. “We want Cyberpunk 2077 to be our crowning achievement for this generation and postponing launch will give us the precious months we need to make the game perfect,” CDPR added.


Horizon Zero Dawn PC Port Rumored

Kotaku reports that its sources confirm Horizon Zero Dawn is getting a PC port. According to Kotaku, the PS4-exclusive game will be heading to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store sometime this year. Rumors also say it will come with higher framerates, 4K resolution support, and other standard options that come with current PC games. Sony is yet to comment if the rumors are true or not.


Metro Redux Coming to Switch Next Month

Metro Redux is finally heading to the Nintendo Switch, and you can grab it starting February 28th! Metro Redux combines Metro 2033 as well as Metro: Last Light plus all the DLCs in one package. Redux gives both titles a fresh start complete with intensive visual and gameplay enhancements. Metro Redux on the Switch will be sold through a 16GB cartridge with no additional download required. Players who wish to get digital copies would have to purchase both games individually from the eshop.


Xbox Game Pass PC to Add A Plague Tale: Innocence and Gris

Microsoft has announced what’s in store for the Xbox Game Pass on PC. Three new games are joining the service, with the first one, Children of Morta, now available. The two other titles are Gris and A Plague Tale: Innocence, which are both joining at a later date. Gris is a critically-acclaimed platformer featuring puzzles and an ethereal world starring a nameless woman on a journey. A Plague Tale is a stealth game set in 14th Century France where players can manipulate hordes of diseased rats while solving puzzles.


Heroland Launching for Switch and PS4 Late This Month

Marvelous Europe’s quirky and colorful RPG Heroland will launch January 31st on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The game is set in a tropical theme park that’s full of magic and adventure. Heroland will also be getting a Day One Edition which will be released physically. Its digital version will be up for purchase on the Nintendo Eshop and PlayStation Store. Pre-orders will start January 23rd.


The Surge 2’s The Kraken Expansion Available Now

The Surge 2 has received its latest expansion called The Kraken. This expansion adds a brand-new storyline and location, new weapons, implants, and armor. The expansion also introduces the VBS Krakow, a decommissioned aircraft carrier which was retrofitted as a retreat for the rich and famous. The Kraken also features battles with robot pirates, security systems, as well as a new boss. Also announced is the game’s Premium Edition which contains all DLC alongside the base game.


The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor Expansion Announced

Bethesda has announced a new chapter for The Elder Scrolls Online called Greymoor. This chapter is part of the Dark Heart of Skyrim, the game’s “next big year-long adventure.” It will arrive on PC on May 18th, while Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players will follow on June 2nd. Greymoor features the new Western Skyrim zone, a gothic main quest storyline, the new Antiquities system, a massive new 12-player Trial called Kyne’s Aegis, new Harrowstorms world events, updates, improvements, and many more.


World of Horror to Bring the Chills Next Month

Horror game fanatics will soon get their hands on a new game that would surely bring on the chills. The game is World of Horror, and it is set to launch on Steam Early Access on February 20th. The game features five different protagonists, with each one having their own story as well as different perspective on events that will unfold. The game sports black and white graphics, which kind of gives an old-school Japanese-style anime-slash-manga vibe. The game will also be launching for PS4 and Switch at the end of this year.


Endless Franchise Free Weekend on Steam

Steam is hosting another free weekend, this time featuring three games from the Endless Franchise. The games you can try for free are Endless Space 2, Endless Legend, and Dungeon of the Endless. These are free to play until Monday, January 20th, at 10AM Pacific Time. These, and all other games in the franchise, are also available at 75% off on Steam in case you also want to purchase them.


IEM Katowice 2020’s Roster Now Complete

IEM Katowice 2020 has finally completed its roster, after the Australian esports team Renegades emerged as victors over ex-Genuine at the IEM Katowice Oceania closed qualifiers. Renegades will be joining IEM Katowice 2020 alongside 10 of the biggest CS:GO teams and five other teams in Poland from Feb. 25 to March 1; 250,000 Dollars prize pool up for grabs. The other teams are: Astralis, Team Liquid, mousesports, Fnatic, Evil Geniuses, Vitality, 100 Thieves, Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, Ninjas in Pyjamas, G2, Virtus Pro, Cloud9, MAD Lions, and ViCi Gaming.


Shenmue 3 Battle Rally DLC Arriving Next Week

The very first DLC of Shenmue 3 has been announced by Koch media. The expansion is called Battle Rally and it will be launching on Tuesday, January 21st. Koch Media shared in a tweet that the expansion will come with “fresh gaming activities in a race unlike any other”. There will also be two additional characters that will be available who are Wuying Ren, who is always looking for treasure and Wei Zhen, Ryo’s sparring partner. The Battle Rally DLC is £6.49 pounds available on the Epic Games Store.


Expect More Skins for League of Legends Champs this 2020

More skins are arriving for League of Legends’ champions for the year 2020 as announced by Riot. This year, the devs are aiming to “push past 120 skins” for their champs. The skins that will be made will be for the more neglected champions which are Pantheon, Bard, Skarner, Mordekaiser, Rek’Sai, Xerath, Kindred, Ornn, Karthus, Vel’Koz, Sion, Twitch, Taric, Nautilus, Trundle, and Taliyah. The last time that both Skarner and Xerath received skins was about 5 years ago.


New Baldur’s Gate Information Available Next Month

Larian Studios is teasing something about their upcoming game Baldur’s Gate 3. On their official Twitter page, we see a quick video as well as a tag line saying “Something’s Brewing” with the date February 27, 2020. We have no idea what exactly will be happening on that date and the Larian representatives have nothing else to share at the moment. No launch date is available for the game as of right now but we know that it will be launching for the PC and Google Stadia.


Monster Hunter World Iceborn Patch Now Here

Monster Hunter World Iceborne received a new patch and it fixes the problems that the game launched with for the PC. The problems that were reported included saves becoming unreadable as well as poor performance. Games that were saved before October 30 will reset to the default keybinds but can be converted without any problems. The saves since the November 22 title update should work fine as well, players would just need to disregard the pop-up. The patch also reduces the game’s CPU usage.


Devil May Cry 3 New Free Style Mode Available for the Switch

Capcom will be launching Devil May Cry 3 on the Nintendo Switch and they are adding a brand new feature to the game. The new feature that will be added is the “Free Style Mode” where players are able to switch up Dante’s abilities on the fly. Generally, the original version would only let a player choose one style for most of a level where he is, but with the new mode, players can choose from Swordmaster, Gunslinger, Royal Guard, Trickster, Doppelganger and Quicksilver at any point within a level.


Valve Launches New Matchmaking Update for Dota 2

The matchmaking method of Dota 2 is getting revamped once again with a new update. Valve was able to remove the scaling MMR based on the relative skills of both teams. Right now there will be fixed values of 30 MMR for the solo games and 20 MMR for the party games. Also, the slow and fast queues that had previously been introduced have been removed to favor the Ranked Classic and Ranked Roles. We can expect Valve to rollout more matchmaking updates in the future.


Pandemic Express: Zombie Escape is Now Free to Play

First-person shooter Pandemic Express: Zombie Escape is going free-to-play! In this new model, players will be earning stars for playing in matches. The stars earned can be used for costumes, emojis, and in-game music. The stars are also available for purchase of you don’t have enough. To celebrate the game’s new model, those who were already able to buy the game will get all the in-game music tracks.


Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen Comes Back to North

It looks like North has signed Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen once again as part of their CS:GO team. The official announcement has not been made by North as of yet, however, we do see MSL’s name on the newest jersey reveal video. Right now, we have no idea who he will be replacing in the team but the most obvious choice is the main sniper Jakob “JUGi” Hansen. MSL had been a part of OpTic Gaming, but when they disbanded in October 2019, he had been inactive.


Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate New Infinity Mode Revealed

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force has announced the details of Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate’s newest Infinity Mode. The new mode will take a three-player party where they will try to take on the trials of the 12 towers, each one representing on the of the zodiac. Players will earn experience points, unlock characters, and strengthen their weapons through the battles. Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is set to launch on February 14th for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.


The Alliance Alive HD Remastered is Out Now, Discounts Available Until the 22nd

The role-playing video game from Furyu Corporation and NIS America, Inc., The Alliance Alive HD Remastered is now available on Steam and GOG. The game will have a 10% discount up until January 22nd. It’s Digital Limited Edition will have a 12% discount. The Digital Limited Edition includes the Digital Game, the Digital Artbook and the Digital Soundtrack.


Overwatch Lunar New Year 2020 Event is Here

The Lunar New Year 2020 event of Overwatch is now live for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. This will be running up until February 6th only. The event will come with weekly challenges that will unlock some limited-time rewards. New cosmetics will also be available like the 4 Legendary skins, 3 Epic Skins and some player icons, emotes, and sprays.
