Battle for Azeroth Free for WoW Classic Players at Level 60

Blizzard has announced that when World of Warcraft players reach level 60 in the game, they will be rewarded with a free copy of Battle for Azeroth. This will actually boost your character to level 110 for free. What’s ironic with this bonus is that most of those playing World of Warcraft Classic are already die-hard fans that probably already own the Battle for Azeroth. Blizzard also announced that a surge of players had been seen with the release of the World of Warcraft 1.14 version.


Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair Launch Date Revealed

A possible release date had been revealed for Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair as seen on the Australian Nintendo website. The game had been posted as arriving on October 8th for all the versions of the game which are PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. This may possibly be a place holder date only but stores are usually accurate about the dates of games releases. Another thing is that Playtonic did announce previously that the game will be arriving on October.


Remedy’s Control DLC Unearthed by Debugging Tool

Remedy’s Control may have an upcoming DLC as unearthed by a player who used some debugging tools. Some free-look camera has been seen as well as alternate renders like different shaders and effects like the wireframe view. Another thing that had been seen is the ability to jump to any mission in the game. The giveaway for this was the letters “DLC” at the end of the name of the file. We will have to wait for further details to know more about this.


Kingdom Hearts 3 Re: Mind Trailer Available Next Week

Square Enix will be sharing a new Kingdom Hearts 3 Re: Mind trailer which will be launching by next week. They have shared the information through their official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account. The trailer for Re: Mind will be seen on September 9th. For right now, we have no information available for this, but since the sequel took almost 15 years to wait for, just another week won’t be that bad of a wait time.


Serious Sam Classics: Revolution Launches as a Full Game

Serious Sam Classics: Revolution is finally out of Early Access and is now a full game. The Classics Revolution is actually the first two Serious Sam games and was made by a fan that launched on the Steam Early Access. Almost five years have passed and nothing happened to it, with the fan saying that “life happened”. This had been brought to life once again by the Croteam, helping it to a full launch. There are new enemies and a new boss. There are also eight new campaign maps and a survival mode.


Mass Effect 3 Mod Fixes Game’s Ending

A Mass Effect 3 mod has been launched which will fix the game’s Catalyst as well as London mission. There will also be new events, some gameplay improvements, altered cutscenes, restored content and so much more. Do note that this is actually from a group of modders who were not happy with the game’s ending nor was happy with the final mission. Right now, the mod is available on NexusMods for download. So, if you are one of the players who had been disappointed by the original ending, now is your chance.


NHL 20 Features 33 Alumni Teams

NHL 20 will feature Alumni Teams, EA Sports has announced. The company has revealed all 33 teams through a Tweet that reads, “#NHL20 will feature 33 playable Alumni Teams comprised of some of the best players in each teams history! Including former franchises like the Quebec Nordiques, Minnesota North Stars and Hartford Whalers!” Alumni Teams are squads that feature legacy players and teams grouped together, including those teams that no longer exist.


NASCAR Heat 4 Launches September 7th

NASCAR Heat 4 is all set for launch. The game will be launching on September 13th, and will be available for players on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game promises new features such as a dynamic UI, deeper Career Mode, Track map, and unlockable paint schemes, among others. The game’s sounds and graphics have also undergone a complete overhaul, plus its AI is now smarter and more competitive.


Tactical Space Game Crying Suns Demo Available on Steam

FTL-inspired roguelite Crying Suns currently has a demo on Steam. The demo gives players a chance to try out the game before its official launch on September 19th. As mentioned, Crying Suns took inspiration from Faster Than Light, but it is more story-focused. Players will take the role of Admiral Ellys Idaho’s clone, and the future of humanity lies in his hands. The game features over 300 possible story events in over six chapters.


DiRT Rally 2.0 World Championship Kicks Off Next Week

Codemasters has confirmed that its DiRT Rally 2.0 World Championship will kick off on September 10th. This competitive gaming event is open to all players on PS4, Xbox One and PC. From September 10th, players will take part in a series of online challenges which culminates in a live final at the Autosport International Show at the Birmingham NEC on January 11, 2020. Players can participate by joining through the World Championship tab in the game, then select Qualifiers and select Qualifier Rally or Qualifier Rallycross.


Monster Hunter World’s Iceborn Rewards Helpful Players

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be rewarding players who will help other players catch up. The feature is called Hunter Helper, and this will especially be helpful for players who are yet to reach the required rank in order to play Iceborne. Low-rank players can ask help from those with higher ranks to complete quests and finish up their storyline. In exchange, these higher rank players will get rewards, but Capcom is yet to reveal what these rewards will be.

Yager Development has announced that The Cycle currently available in open Alpha on the Epic Games Store. At first glance, many would argue that it falls within the battle royale genre as it does bear some of the elements commonly associated with the genre. However, it is a competitive ‘quest’ shooter that takes place on the alien planet of Fortuna III. You can play alone or with up to 3 others as a squad as you complete mission and amass valuable resources. You can sign up for the alpha on the game’s official website.


CS:GO New Berlin 2019 Viewer Pass Detailed

CS:GO has received a new update that introduces a new Berlin 2019 Viewer Pass. This pass comes with an upgradable Berlin 2019 Event coin and grants players access to the Berlin Pick’Em Challenge. Viewer pass holders will also receive unlimited team graffiti for the duration of the event, access to Berlin 2019 Souvenir Packages, and all-new Viewer Pass Missions. Battlefield 5’s 4.4 Patch Now Live

DICE has released a brand-new update for Battlefield 5 for all platforms. It is patch 4.4 which features two new maps to the game: Lofoten Islands, and Provence. No surprise there, considering both maps were previously showcased at the recent conventions. Unfortunately, both maps will be exclusive to Squad Conquest and Team Deathmatch modes and there will be no variants for the bigger modes like Conquest. Battlefield 5 is also getting two new weapons which are the Panzerbusche 39, and the Breda M1935 PG.
