GRID to Launch on October 11th Instead of September 13th

The upcoming racing game by Codemasters called GRID is delayed. The game was originally supposed to launch on September 13th but was moved to October 11th. The announcement was seen in the Codemasters blog, but no reason was given for the delay. The post does assure that those who purchased and are planning to purchase the Ultimate Edition will still get the three-day early access to the game, meaning they are able to start playing on October 8th. GRID will still be a Google Stadia launch title.


Next Gran Turismo Game Already in the Works

Polyphony Digital already has the next Gran Turismo game in development despite being hard at work making content updates for the current game. This was confirmed by the series creator Kazunori Yamauchi but did not say how far along they are in the development. He said that the next title will be a ā€œcombination of the past, present and futureā€ and will be a complete form of Gran Turismo. He also mentioned that he believes that VR is suited for a racing game, but will depend on the power of the device.


Tactical RPG Game Warsaw to Launch on September

Developer Pixelated Milk has a new tactical RPG game coming out on September 4 and it is called Warsaw. The game is set during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. Here, you will have limited resources and people will die permanently. You must look for supplies while fighting off the Nazis. There will be a management phase as well as a combat phase. The management phase will let you oversee your headquarters, training, equipment and the like and the combat phase will look like a turn-based RPG.


Stranger Things Portals Seen in Fortnite

Fortnite players are noticing more and more signs of the Stranger Things crossover with the multiple portals showing up around the Mega Mall area. The portals allow players to teleport to other locations but within in the Mega Mall area only. The portals are very similar to those in the series Stranger Things with a glowing cocoon-like structure with dark roots growing into the walls. With this, it is most likely that more content will be coming soon for a Stranger Things cross-over.


Bloo Kid 2 Releases for the Nintendo Switch on October

The classic 2D retro-style platformer Bloo Kid 2 will be launching on the Nintendo Switch. Get to travel across five colorful pixelated worlds, with a classic chiptune soundtrack playing in the background. Look for all the hidden secrets, survive the boss fights and collect those stars. If you have enough of the stars, you will be able to unlock 15 challenging bonus levels. Bloo Kid 2 was originally released for the 3DS and you can play the game on the Nintendo Switch this October 2019.


Desperados 3 Closed Beta Announced

Desperados 3 is getting a beta test and they want their fans and interested players to participate. Mimimi Games announced that the closed beta will be launching on July 9th which is a Tuesday and will end on July 21st a Sunday. Those interested must sign up through a link and only 500 lucky participants will be chosen. Desperados 3 is almost at the final stages of its production and feedback is really important to the devs. Desperados 3 is set to launch this year for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.


Hitman 2ā€™s July Roadmap Unveiled

IO Interactive has revealed its July roadmap for Hitman 2. A ton of new content will be coming to the game this month, including the new Sniper Assassin map, The Prison, which will be available starting July 30th. A new Escalation Mission, The Babayeva Dissonance Contract, is available starting July 4th. By July 11th, a new Challenge Pack will roll out, then the new Legacy Elusive Target, The Badboy, will be open starting July 19th. A new Escalation Contract will be open on July 28th, followed by a new Contracts Mode for Hawkeā€™s Bay on July 30th.


Next Assassinā€™s Creed Odyssey DLC Episode Launches This Month

Assassinā€™s Creed Odysseyā€™s three-part Fate of Atlantis story DLC will be closing this month with the release of the third chapter, Judgment of Atlantis. The third episode will be available starting July 16th on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. In the promotional screenshots Ubisoft released, it looks like players are finally going to be able to explore Atlantis with the release of the third chapter. The first and second episodes had players explore Elysium and Hadesā€™ underworld respectively.


Desperado 3 Closed Beta Starts Next Week

The Wild West-themed real-time tactics game Desperados 3 is hosting a closed beta test from July 9th until the 21st. Players can sign up for this closed beta through a form the developers linked in their Steam post. Only 500 players will be selected out of all the applications. The game is entering the final stages of its production, so we can expect the developers to announce an official release date soon. The game will be launching sometime this year for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.


PES 2020 Changes Its Name to eFootball: PES

Konami has given PES 2020 a new name. The game will now be called ā€œeFootball: PES.ā€ According to the PES franchiseā€™s European brand manager, Lennart Bobzien, they changed the name to eFootball: PES 2020 because they ā€œwant to put a bigger focus on esports moving forward.ā€ He added that there will be bigger esports competitions coming up moving forward. The game will launch on September 10th.


Realm Royale Celebrates Its First Anniversary with Updates

Realm Royale is celebrating its first birthday, and Heroic Leap Games has announced that they are giving away the Cuddles Chicken skin and 200 Crowns to all players who will login from now until July 19th. Realm Royale is a game with a mix of fantasy and battle royale and has entered Steam Early Access last year. The developers express their thanks to the gameā€™s fanbase for its feedback and continued support for the game.


After 20 Years The Langrisser JRPG Series is Making a Comeback

The tactical, turn-based JRPG Langrisser is making a comeback after being absent in the gaming scene for about 20 years. NIS America has announced that Langrisser 1 and 2 will be getting a PC and console release available next year and that it will be having HD graphics, quality of life improvements, English subtitles and ā€œre-orchestrated musicā€. The very first Langrisser game launched in 1991 for Mega Drive, its sequel also launched for Mega Drive as well as in Super Nintendo in 1994 and 1995.


Assassinā€™s Creed Odyssey Judgement of Atlantis to Launch on July 16th

Assassinā€™s Creed Odysseyā€™s final episode of their DLC campaign called the Judgement of Atlantis will be launching on July 16th.
