New Legend and Giant Dinosaurs Coming to Apex Legends

Apex Legends Season 2, Battle Charge, will start on July 2nd, and EA has released a launch trailer which showcases some of the additions to the game. The trailer shows off the new legend, Wattson, as well as some of her abilities. Some weapons were also featured in the trailer. Also shown are dinosaurs, which players can expect to show up when Season 2 starts.


Battlefield 5ā€™s Free Al Sundan Map Out Now

Battlefield 5ā€™s new free map, Al Sundan, is live now! The map comes through the Chapter 4: Defying the Odds update. Al Sundan is a map which is located in the North Africa desert. Players might find the map familiar as this was taken from the Behind Enemy Lines mission in the Under No Flag chapter of the campaign. The map is described as a versatile map, as it supports a lot of different play-styles. It also features a lot of vehicles and planes, capture points, and big, open spaces.


Dark Devotion Gets a Major Update

Hibernian Workshop has launched a new update for its action-adventure RPG Dark Devotion. The update, according to the devsā€™ changelog on Steam, ā€œspans several enhancements to the existing gameplay and some issues reported by the players.ā€ The update balances some inconsistencies in the game such as nerfing weapons and adjusting some HPs. It also adds some visual and gameplay fixes, as well as audio improvements.


Ice Age: Scratā€™s Nutty Adventure Announced

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe announced a new upcoming game called Ice Age: Scratā€™s Nutty Adventure. Elsword, the side-scrolling anime-style MMORPG from Gameforge, welcomes a new character ā€” Laby. Laby is the thirteenth character to join the game. While she may look too cute to fight, Laby is packed with strange and mysterious powers that would make her defeat her opponents. She is joined by a mirror called Nisha which helps with magical attacks and also absorbs negative emotions. Laby also uses Nisha as a throwable weapon which later comes flying back to return to her.


Monster Hunter World: Iceborne PS4 Beta Schedule Revealed

The official PS4 beta start times for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne have been announced. Posted through the gameā€™s official Twitter account, the PS4 beta starts June 28th at 3 AM PT / 6 AM ET / 11 AM BST / 8 PM AET. It is scheduled to end on Monday, July 1st at 2:59 AM PT / 5:59 AM ET / 10:59 AM BST / 7:59 PM AET. The second beta will give players access to single-player and multiplayer content. It will also feature difficulty scaling, summoning Tailraiders, and more.

It looks like Borderlands 2 VR is coming to PC. The game launched back in December and had been a PlayStation 4 exclusive ever since. However, all thanks to a new ESRB rating for the Windows PC edition of the game, we know that it will be arriving on that platform. For right now, no release date has been given but usually for a game to have an ESRB rating, it must be filled within a month of the gameā€™s release. The Borderlands 2 VR PC, if the same with PS4 will be a single player game as well.


The Surge 2 Adds Graffiti Messages in Online Play

The Surge 2 is getting a feature that is known in From Softwareā€™s Dark Souls and Bloodborne which is the ability to leave behind messages for other players who are also playing online. The graffiti messages can be placed in the game world with a spray can that is attached to your drone. Deck13 head of game design Adam Hetenyi said that the messages could be friendly like warning other players of danger or perhaps giving them a heads up for loot. The Surge 2 will launch on September 24.


Fire Pro Wrestling Gets New DLC

Spike Chunsoft recently published a tweet in which it announced a new DLC pack for its wrestling simulation game, Fire Pro Wrestling World. The DLC pack includes four new wrestlers from the New Japan Pro Wrestling; namely Switchblade Jay White, Toa Henare, Takagi Shingo, and Yujiro Takahashi. The New Japan Pro-Wrestling 2018 Wrestler Pack DLC is currently available for PlayStation 4 and PC. If you are a holder of a Fire Pro season pass you need not purchase the DLC as it is already included.


Google Stadia Will Not Have Beta

Google has confirmed that there will be no beta testing period for Stadia before it launches. This is a very bold step by the company as if there are any qualms, they will be bellowed and the lack of a beta test is likely to be labelled the culprit. While it is a risky move by todayā€™s standards, it does assert the companyā€™s confidence in the product. Recent testing dictates that Stadia Stadia has impressive professional capabilities but until players test it at home, they will just have to trust that it works.


Disgaea 4 Complete Plus Release Date Announced

At E3 this year, NIS announced that Disgaea 4 Complete edition would be coming to fruition and now they have revealed the official release date. According to the developer, Disgaea 4 Complete Plus will be heading to North America and Europe on October 29, 2019. Oceania- based players can expect it to be released on November 5, 2019, in Oceania. In addition, the Reverse Cover Sheet Contest has commenced will run from June 27, until July 11.

Cyberpunk 2077ā€™s Size Dwarfs The Witcher 3

Game Pressure has revealed that Cyberpunk 2077ā€™s size is around a whopping 80GB. To put it in a perspective, it is comfortably over twice the size of The Witcher 3. This is a testament to how massive the game is as The Witcher 3 is ginormous in its own right. Its size is surely no deterrent as it is almost completely sold out of its Collectorā€™s Edition. However, it is still available for pre-order in all editions but there is no telling how long stocks will last. Cyberpunk 2077 releases on April 16, 2020.


Final Fantasy 7 Remake Crowned Wins E3 2019 Best Of Show At Game Critics Awards

Square Enix has a lot to be proud of and celebrate as their Final Fantasy VII Remake was crowned Best Of Show At Game Critics Awards. The title also won Best Console Game and Best Role-Playing Game. The judges who voted for the games are not without credibility as they had been chosen from reputable media outlets from all around the world. There were other strong contenders but the Final Fantasy VII Remake came away with accolades in the most categories in the end.


No More Uncapped Frame Rates In Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers

Square Enix is replacing Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringersā€™s unlimited frame rate option with 90fps. This news is was uncovered upon viewing the recently released patch notes for the game. This means that a lot of players will not get to use their hardware to its full capacity. The patch did not state whether or not it is a form of VSync or a cap internal to the game. The patch also did not leave a rational but some speculate is an effort to minimize unwarranted exploits.


Ni No Kuni 3 Announced

Level-5ā€™s president Akihiro Hino has confirmed that the next new Ni No Kuni 3 is currently being developed. He also shared that this new Ni No Kuni game will be released after the release of the Ni No Kuni anime movie. Gong by that statement, players can expect the title to drop anytime beyond the 29th of August this year. Unfortunately, Akihiro Hino did not divulge much beyond that but you can stay abreast with the updates on the Level-5ā€™s official website.


Fantasy Strike Release Date Dropped

Sirlin Games recently announced a new fighting game named Fantasy Strike. The game was developed by Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix lead designer, David Sirlin. The developer also released an awesome gameplay trailer in celebration of reaching this monumental milestone. Judging from the gameplay trailer, the game is nothing short of entertaining and will be a source of glee for many when it releases on July 25 for Windows PC.


Beyond: Two Souls PC Demo Out Now

Quantic Dream has honoured its promise by releasing a demo of Beyond: Two Souls. The demo is currently available for via the Epic Games Store. In an effort to celebrate this release, the team has also released a new trailer dedicated to the gameā€™s PC version. For those who donā€™t already know, Beyond Two Souls is an interesting psychological action-thriller game developed by Quantic Dream. The full game officially drops on July 22nd, hopefully, the demo will suffice until then.
