Epic Games Store Roadmap Shows Upcoming Features and Timeframe

The biggest gripe gamers have with the Epic Games Store is its lack of features, but it looks like things are changing soon. Epic Games has released the platform’s development roadmap on Trello. The chart shows that user reviews, wishlists, playtime tracking, an Epic Games overlay and mod support will roll out within the next six months. Store pages will be redesigned as well with support for multi-SKU listings, plus cloud saves and Offline Mode improvements, all coming in the next 1-3 months.


Buildings Have Feelings Too is a City Builder with an Odd Twist

Blackstaff Games is bringing their own take on the city-building and management genre, but with a slight twist. While in most traditional games in the genre the goal is to keep the people happy, Blackstaff wants players to think about the buildings too. Their game is aptly named “Buildings Have Feelings Too” and features buildings that walk, talk and have their own personalities. The game is already listed on Steam and is scheduled to launch sometime this summer.


Snoop Dogg has Launched his Own Esports League with Merry Jane

Famous rapper Snoop Dogg has partnered up with cannabis-focused digital media platform Merry Jane to put up his very own esports league called the Gangsta Gaming League. The twist here is that players are allowed, and are probably encouraged, to use cannabis during its events. The league launched on March 14th with a Madden NFL 19 tournament as its debut event, featuring some of Snoop Dogg’s closest friends and an $11,000 prize pool.


Windjammers 2 Gameplay Trailer Shows Off New Characters and Moves

Windjammers is finally headed to PC with Windjammers 2 and DotEmu is giving us a glimpse of what to expect with a brand new gameplay trailer. It is, we see returning characters Wessel and Mita, plus new additions Max and Grace. There are also new abilities to look forward to such as jumps, smashes, and slapshots. The original Windjammers was released way back in 1994 for the Neo Geo and has been ported over to the Wii Virtual Console, PS4 and PS Vita. Windjammers 2 launches later this year.


Latest Northgard Update Adds Relics and Expanded Crafting System

Northgard’s latest update is bringing a new game-changing mechanic in the form of powerful relics. The crafting system has been expanded to allow players to craft one of these from five common and one clan-specific relic. These relics can provide different bonuses ranging from defensive buffs to the ability to summon an undead monster. The expanded crafting system also allows three smiths to work in the forge to speed up crafting. Players can also now queue up multiple items in the forge.


Rebellion Announces Plans for Several Sniper Elite Titles

Rebellion has recently made four announcements regarding its Sniper Elite series during its 2019 development update. First off, Sniper Elite 5 is currently in development. Second, a standalone Sniper Elite title will be coming to VR devices. Third, the studio will be launching a fully remastered version of Sniper Elite V2 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch. Lastly, Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch and will support motion controls.


Two Point Hospital Free Weekend Announced

If you haven’t tried playing Two Point Hospital yet, well maybe now is the perfect chance for you, as the game is having a free weekend on Steam! The free weekend is open to players from now until Monday, March 18th. Aside from the free weekend, Two Point Hospital is also getting infested with headcrabs from Half Life, so that’s something new to try as well. In related news, the game’s Pebberley Island DLC launches on Monday, too.


Hearthstone’s Rise of Shadows Expansion Launch Date Revealed

Blizzard shared details on Hearthstone’s first expansion for its new season. The expansion, called Rise of Shadows, will bring together several villains throughout the game’s history, making up a Sinister-Six team. The expansion also adds 135 new cards to collect as well as new mechanics and card types. Rise of Shadows will officially kick off on April 9th, and its solo adventure will follow in May.


Borderlands 3, If Confirmed, Could Be an Epic Games Exclusive

Gearbox has been teasing fans with posts that could probably lead to Borderlands 3 these past few days, and when Borderlands 3 is indeed the new game they’re teasing, there’s a huge possibility that the game could release on the Epic Games Store. This is because Gearbox has a history of working with Epic Games before, and they have also used Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 with the last Borderlands game. As PAX East will come soon, we’re sure to know more concrete details on what this mystery game is.


Devil May Cry 5 Mod Unlocks Vergil as Playable Character

There’s a fourth playable character in Devil May Cry 5! A modder who goes by the name Nekorun , used a cheating software to unlock Vergil. The software lets him change the Player ID in the game – Player IDs 1 through 3 go to Dante, V, and Nero, and when he changed it to 4, Vergil became playable! Vergil comes with a basic move-set including combos, special moves, aerial moves, and more. It is worth noting though that Vergil will also come to the game as a DLC character.


Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark Leaves Early Access with Massive Update

1C Entertainment and 6 Eyes Studio will be officially launching their Early Access game Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark. The game will be out on March 18th on Steam. Players who decide to purchase the game now will get 10% off its Early Access price of $19.99. The price will increase to $29.99 once it fully launches on the 18th. Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark is a turn-based tactical RPG featuring 2 character classes and over 130 unique battle encounters.


Left 4 Dead Successor Back 4 Blood Announced

Turtle Rock Studios has announced that they’re working in partnership with Warner Bros so that they can bring us a next-gen cooperative FPS entitled Back 4 Blood. This game can be regarded as a spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead and its sequel. The developer has expressed that they are employing some “state-of-the-art technology” to bring us a game that is everything Left 4 Dead was and everything fans needed it to be. Back 4 Blood will be designed from the ground up as an original.


Bandai Namco Announces Jump Force’s DLC Roadmap

Bandai Namco has announced Jump Force’s roadmap for the next few months. As you may have guessed, the roadmap chronologically lists the activities for the title for the proposed time period. Upon inspecting the roadmap you will notice that a total of 9 characters are due to be released between now and the end of August. These characters even include Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh. The roadmap specifies content that will come as free updates or Paid DLC’s.

Black Ops 4 Gives Double XP and Free Multiplayer Map Access This Weekend

Treyarch is giving Black Ops 4 players free Multiplayer Map Access and Double XP this weekend. As of March 15, players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC will be able to delve into all four of the maps included in the paid Black Ops Pass Elevation, Madagascar, Casino, and Lockup. In addition to that, Treyarch is will be doubling the rewards in all of the game’s modes this weekend. Players can also earn double xp in the Zombie and Multiplayer modes. The free period will run until, March 18, 2019.


Battlefield 5’s Battle Royale Launch Date Announced

EA and DICE have announced that their popular first-person-shooter Battlefield 5, will be receiving a 64-player battle royale mode later this month. The BR mode is labeled Firestorm and sports the largest Battlefield map ever, Halvoy. According to information snatched from the video that accompanied the announcement, the mode will grant players access to some rather unusual advantages should they complete objectives. Firestorm will be coming on March 25th, 2019.


Fortnite’s Getaway LTM Returns

Seasoned Fortnite players will be celebrating as the Getaway mode has finally returned to the game. This news came to light when a tweet spawned from Fortnite’s official Twitter account captioned “Suit up and jump in. The Getaway LTM is back with more free rewards.” Said mode is regarded as one of its most elaborate Limited-Time Modes to ever grace the game. Now players will have another opportunity to work their way through the Fortnite High Stakes Challenges.


Beat Saber’s DLC Music Pack Volume 1 Out Now

Developer Beat Games has released a new DLC music pack for their music game beat Saber. Now players have a multitude of tracks at their disposal that they can swipe to in virtual reality. The developer has released the full track list for the Music Pack Vol. 1 and it is a 10-song collection. All of the songs have been mapped for every difficulty which also includes Expert for players purchasing on PSVR or for PC. The PC version of Beat Saber has also been updated to include the campaign mode.


God of War Leads Nominations in BAFTA Games Awards

God of War is currently leading the BAFTA Games Award nominations. This list is geared towards highlighting the industry’s best and brightest titles and it is to no surprise that the game of the year is galloping in-front. God of war has been nominated for Best Game, Best Artistic Achievement, Best Audio Achievement, and Best Game Design, among other categories, eventually equating to an astounding total of 10 nominations. It goes without question that the title is not done accumulating accolades.


Devil May Cry 5 is Getting Bloody Palace as a Free Update

Capcom recently announced that Bloody Palace is coming to Devil May Cry 5 as a free update on the first of April. Bloody Palace is a survival mode that has been in every single Devil May Cry game with the exception of the first installment. Vintage fans are undoubtedly familiar with said mode but are also excited as it is coming very soon. Surely people are aware of the usual deceptive aura associated with the 1st of April but Capcom insists that this is not an April Fool’s Day joke.


Gearbox Releases Third Game Teaser

Gearbox has dropped yet another teaser for Borderlands via Twitter. The Gearbox official account published a pixelated version of a Borderlands screenshot. To the untrained eye it is just a pixelated image but it is readily identifiable by players who and lived the Borderland’s gaming experience. The caption on the tweet reads “Time to tease another game,” which means this is a third reveal lined up for the studio’s PAX panel. The studio’s PAX East panel starts on March 28.


God Eater 3 Gets a New Update

God Eater 3 has received a new update that adds a new Aragami and character customization options. The new Aragami is called Amen Ra who comes with a very unique play-style. As stated, the update comes with new character customization options. Said options include some interesting and cool hairstyles. The update also features a number of balance changes.
