Next Major Elite Dangerous Update Won’t Be Ready Until Mid-2020

Elite Dangerous released back in 2014, and since then it has received two large expansions, the recent one is Beyond which was launched in 2018. For fans of the game, it seems like they will have to wait for some time until the next expansion is launched. Frontier revealed in its latest post that the next major Elite Dangerous expansion won’t be launching until the second half of 2020. Frontier did not specify exactly what the next major expansion will include, but you may read the full details of this report in Frontier’s forums.


Halo Infinite Confirmed for Xbox One and PC

A rumor that Halo Infinite won’t be making it to the Xbox One has been circulating, but Halo franchise development director Frank O’Connor said that is not so. In a reply to a tweet from a fan who said that a leak mentioned Halo Infinite will be in the next-gen Xbox and not on Xbox One, O’Connor said, “I have no idea what leak you’re talking about, but Halo Infinite will be released for Xbox One.” He also said it will be launched for PC, too. We’ll get to know more about Halo Infinite at this year’s E3.


Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Legend of the First Blade Concludes with Episode 3

The conclusion to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Legend of the First Blade DLC has come! Episode 3, which is called, Bloodline, is now available for eligible players. Those who have completed the first two chapters – Hunted and Shadow Heritage – will be able to access Bloodline and see the finale of Darius’ story. Another eligibility requirement is that players must be at level 28 or higher, and that they have completed the main game’s Naxos questline in chapter 7.


Dota 2’s New Hero Introduced in Latest Update

Dota 2 has added a new hero to its roster, following Grimstroke which was introduced back in August 2018. The new hero is Mars, and as his name suggests, he is the god of war. Mars is armed with a spear and a shield which he uses to take on his enemies. He can throw his spear and stick his enemies into the environment, while he uses his shield to bash and stun them. We are yet to see whether he is a game-changer and a worthy addition to the roster.


Turok Remaster Coming to the Switch This Month

A Twitter user who goes by the handle @Nibellion spotted a listing in the Nintendo website, and it shows that the 1997 game Turok will be heading to the Switch this month. The listing shows that it will be available for the price of $19.99. The Switch version of the game is a port of the HD remaster of the game’s PC version that released back in 2015 and on Xbox One last year.


Red Dead Online Gets Classic Weapon and New Event

Rockstar has released a new update for Red Dead Online, Red Dead Redemption 2’s online multiplayer mode. The update brings back a classic weapon which was known from the first Red Dead Redemption. The update also brings a new Free Roam event called Fool’s Gold. The weapon is called the Evans Repeater which was one of the guns John Marston wielded. The gun is “a powerful long-range rifle” also described as “deadly at medium and long distances.”


Shakedown: Hawaii is the Latest Epic Games Store PC Exclusive

Another game has become an Epic Games Store PC exclusive title! The game is Shakedown: Hawaii, the newest title from developer Vblank Entertainment, which is the team behind Retro City Rampage. Shakedown: Hawaii is a retro top-down shooter and business simulator. It uses 16-bit visuals and features an open world. Players’ objectives include building and expanding their business through violent means.


Devil May Cry 5’s Deluxe Edition Includes Live Action Cutscenes

Devil May Cry 5’s Deluxe Edition has an interesting feature. Capcom has included pre-visualization live action cutscenes in the game. With this addition, players have a choice to switch between the standard cutscenes and the live-action counterparts – it’s like players are watching a low-budget Devil May Cry movie. The live action cutscenes contains scenes showing how key scenes in the game took place during development.

SEGA Confirms Judgment’s Release Date

Following a leak in Amazon, SEGA has finally confirmed the release date for its Yakuza spin-off, Judgment. The game is slated for release on June 25th for the PS4, and on June 21st for those who pre-ordered the game digitally. SEGA also mentioned that the Playstation 4 version will have a reversible cover. Judgment was first unveiled during the Kinda Funny Games showcase back in December.


Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Highlights a New Enemy

FromSoftware and Activision are leveling up the hype for their upcoming game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice which is scheduled to release this month. A new trailer has been released and it features one of the bad guys in the game: the Great Serpent. The video, which runs for 30 seconds, showcases the Great Serpent’s whereabouts and also its size. We’ll get to see more of the Great Serpent when Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice launches on March 22nd for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

This information was previously leaked but had gone unconfirmed by the developers, now fans have some sort of confirmation that Octane might be arriving soon. According to Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding is very slightly behind schedule, but not behind by much. It is the norm for studios to fall behind release schedule; in extreme cases, titles have been canceled altogether. However, Kojima assures us that Death Stranding will be arriving in Fall. In the same interview, he spoke about the prominence of streaming video games among other interesting topics. Currently, Death Stranding is a PlayStation 4 exclusive game.

Vacation Simulator Release Date and Relaxing Locales Revealed

Owlchemy Labs has released an all-new trailer for Vacation Simulator which showcases many of the features and spots that the game entails. Aside from brandishing the recreated human vacation sites, Vacation Simulator has also received a release date for Oculus and SteamVR, while PSVR owners get a release window. The game will be released on April 9, 2019, for Oculus and SteamVR, while PSVR players will have to wait until summer to play on PSVR.


Warhammer: Chaosbane Closed Beta Dates Revealed

Bigben and Eko Software are elated to announce that on March 7, 2019 the first phase of the closed beta for Warhammer: Chaosbane will commence. There will be two beta phases and both will be accessible by all players who pre-ordered the game. During this beta, you can develop your characters to level 20, explore the sewers of Nuln, and engage in battles with the despicable Nurgle demons.
