Crimson Curse is Gwent’s First Expansion

CD Projekt Red has just revealed the first expansion for Gwent, The Witcher 3’s digital card game spin-off. The expansion is called Crimson Curse and seems to be themed around vampires. It will bring over one hundred new cards, including 14 cards for each faction and 31 neutral cards. A few of the new cards are already on display at the expansion’s official site. Crimson Curse will launch on March 28th. Gwent is free-to-play and is available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.


Tropical-Themed Expansion Pebberly Island is Coming to Two Point Hospital

A new tropical-themed DLC expansion called Pebberley Island is coming to Two Point Hospital. The expansion will bring three new scenarios — Pebberley Reef, Overgrowth, and Topless Mountain. It will also add three new treatment rooms, thirty-four new illnesses, and several additional decorative items. Pebberley Island is set to launch on March 18th on Steam. Those who pre-order will get a ten percent discount. Two Point Hospital is available on PC, Mac and Linux.


Star Trek Online and Neverwinter will Say Goodbye to The Foundry Next Month

Cryptic Studios made it possible for players to create and share their own custom missions for Star Trek Online and Neverwinter through something called The Foundry. It paved the way for a community of modders reminiscent of that of BioWare’s Neverwinter Nights. Unfortunately, The Foundry will be shutting down soon. Cryptic still continues to update both MMOs and can no longer afford to give attention to The Foundry. You’ll only have until April 11th to play its custom missions.


First Beat Saber Music Pack Coming Next Week

Although still in Early Access, Beat Saber will be expanding its music library next week with its first-ever Music Pack DLC. The rhythm-based lightsaber slashing game has become extremely popular with VR fans but players have been requesting for more songs to slash their way through. The Music Pack should add more variety to the game when it launches on March 14th. The devs also teased an image of the game’s updated UI and also revealed that they’ll be releasing free songs in the future.


Trine 4 Slated for Autumn Release

A new trailer was just released for Trine 4 The Nightmare Prince, revealing an autumn release window for the game. Modus Games and Frozenbyte have also revealed that they’ll be launching Trine Ultimate Collection alongside Trine 4. The Ultimate Collection will include all four Trine games plus a few extras. Both are now up for pre-order. Trine 4 will see the game’s heroes on a quest to find a missing prince. The game will be available on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.


Death Stranding has Similar Themes as Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse

Hideo Kojima took to Twitter to praise Sony’s animated superhero flick, Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse. At the end of his tweet, he says the the movie’s story has a theme that combines both The Phantom Pain and Death Stranding. Unfortunately, we still don’t know that much about Death Stranding even though it has been almost three years since it was announced. We might need to wait until the game’s release, whenever that will be, to get the “AHA” moment.


Battlefield 5’s March 5th Update Has Rolled Out

Battlefield 5’s March 5th update has rolled out. This update brings fixes to different issues found in the game, most notably the flickering issue found in squad deployment. This also adds fixes to crashes and stability issues, as well as some tweaks which are specific to the game’s PC version. This update also adds improvements for shotguns. Friday the 13th Heading to the Nintendo Switch

Gun Media, the team behind the horror game Friday the 13th: The Game, will not be able to add any more DLCs, however, the studio is not done yet as they are also bringing it to the Nintendo Switch. The Switch version of the game is slated to arrive sometime this Spring. The Ultimate Slasher Switch Edition will include all of the game’s DLCs except for its Kickstarter-exclusive items. Players are advised in advance not to expect any future updates from the devs due to an ongoing lawsuit over the ownership of characters in the game.


BioWare’s Anthem is Its Lowest Rated Game Ever

BioWare’s recently released game Anthem is now the company’s lowest rated game ever. This label comes two weeks after the game’s release, just enough time for most review scores to come in. In Metacritic, the game has a score of 65 out of 100 at the highest, while in another site, Opencritic, the game has a score of 61 out of 100. BioWare’s Mass Effect Andromeda, in comparison, has a Metascore of 76 at the highest, and 72 on Opencritic. We are yet to see whether these scores will improve in the coming days.


Anthem Sales Puts It On Top of UK Sales Chart

Although it did not impress players and critics, Anthem’s sales have made the game rise to the top of the UK Sales Chart. The latest report, which is for the week ending March 2nd, shows that Anthem is the top-selling game in the region for two weeks in a row. The second spot is taken by FIFA 19. Newcomer Dirt Rally 2.0 debuts on the 6th spot. Also in the top 5 is Far Cry: new Dawn at number 3, The Lego Movie 2 Videogame at number 4, and Red Dead Redemption 2 at number 5.


Rainbow Six Siege Burnt Horizon Has Rolled Out

The Australian flag is up in Rainbow Six Siege as Operation Burnt Horizon has officially rolled out! As previously reported, this new update brings two new operators: Mozzie and Gridlock who are both Australian, and are members of the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) counterterrorism unit. Of course the update also adds the new Outback multiplayer map, as well as various fixes and tweaks to the game. All these are first available for players who own the Year 4 pass for the first week.


Latest Gran Turismo Sport Update Brings a New Track and Vehicle

Gran Turismo Sport’s most recent update came with brand-new track and a few vehicles. The new track is a 29 year-old Japanese circuit track known as Autopolis. The cars are the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, the 2013 Pagani Huayra, and the all-new BMW Supra. However, the most noteworthy of the lot are the Mk1 Mazda MX5 and the 1995 McLaren F1 GTR. April 11, 2019 is the Steam Early Access date set for AYGames’ strategy-card game Deck of Ashes. This news was accompanied by a very well-narrated trailer that provides a detailed explanation of the game’s story. EA Admits Anthem is Crashing PS4 Consoles

EA Help published a tweet via their official Twitter account expressing that they are aware Anthem is the variable causing PlayStation 4 consoles to crash. In the tweet they said, “We’re investigating and ask that you share your crash data reports when prompted. If you have, we’ll be reaching out to gather info.” Players were also urged to visit a link shared in the tweet, that leads to a technical issues forum if they had not already submitted a claim related to the mentioned dilemma.

Square Enix recently shared a Kingdom Hearts 3 Toy Story stop animation video following the game’s release. The video displays the new exclusive BRING ARTS figure collection. System Requirements for Sci-fi Horror Survival Game Chernobylite Revealed

The Farm 51 officially announced the PC system requirements for the upcoming science-fiction horror survival game, Chernobylite. Should you visit the game’s Steam store page you will see that the you are required to have at least an Intel Core i5-2500K CPU with 8GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 770, or an AMD Radeon HD 7870 to run the game. However, developers recommend that you have an Intel Core i7 4790k CPU with 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970, or an AMD Radeon R9 290 graphics cards.


Smite Introduces a New God

Hi-Rez recently released a patch adding the world serpent Jormungandr as god 101 in Smite. According to Norse mythology, Jormungandr is a massive serpent — so long that he could wrap around the world. The developers were not subtle in representing the god as the lore dictates. The world serpent is currently playable in the game’s live client but it will be a little while before he is available in the ranked modes. Update your client then join Jormungandr on the battlegrounds of the gods.


Terrorarium Will Be Heading to Steam Early Access This Month

Terrorarium is slated to be released on Steam in Early Access on March 20, 2019. The game’s Early Access encompasses Maker Mode, where players can live out their fantasy. The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame Gets Free DLC in April

It has been reported The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame will be receiving free Galactic Adventures DLC next month. The DLC will be free across all platforms when it does arrive however, the precise date is yet to be disclosed. The Galactic Adventures DLC seeks to include three new fantastical LEGO locations. Said locations are Dis-Harmony City, The Queen’s Palace, and The Rexcelsior. The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.


The Outer Worlds Features a Survival Mode

Obsidian’s Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky shared many new details for The Outer Worlds on Game Informer. However, the inclusion of a survival mode is the subject that protrudes most. He went into some details about said mode and promises it hasn’t the conventional looting and crafting systems the players have been subjected to. World of Tanks: Mercenaries Gets Tons of New Content This Month

World of Tanks: Mercenaries is slated to receive an update that will see the return of Commander Mode, Lunar Combat, and a St. Patrick’s Day Event. The update also comes with some all-new Italian tanks. For those who are unfamiliar, Commander mode lets players assume the role of the Commander and issue direct orders to units from a birds-eye view. In said mode you may also team up with other players as a tanker. This exciting update has dropped March 5th.


Ys: IX Monstrum Nox to Launch This Fall in Japan

Nihon Falcom published a tweet that says Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will arrive in Fall of this year in Japan. Fans are speculating that they have a much more precise time-frame to work with. According to history, the developers have a habit of releasing titles within the last week of September, so the fans expect the drop between the 24th and the 31st. Currently Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is only scheduled to be released for the PlayStation 4.
