Johnny Cage Brings His Flashy Moves to Mortal Kombat 11
After teasing him earlier this week, NetherRealm has finally revealed action star Johnny Cage for Mortal Kombat 11 with a brand new trailer. In it we see him dish out his signature flashy kicks and low blows, and use a variety of props to take out his opponents.
Pitted against different enemies, we see Cage use an assortment of tools in combat such as a camera, his sunglasses, a trophy (acting award), a stunt double, and even a chainsaw, because why not. For his Fatality, he calls a whole movie set in as he goes through multiple takes trying to decapitate his opponent’s head with an uppercut. When he finally succeeds, he throws the severed head onto the camera for added flair.

Johnny Cage is the thirteenth confirmed character for the game, fourteenth if you count the non-playable antagonist Kronika. Many commenting on the trailer seem to approve of Cage’s overall look and moveset in the eleventh installment, with some calling his Fatality “the best one yet”. We couldn’t agree more.
Mortal Kombat 11 is set to launch on April 23rd for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
