Detroit: Become Human will be the subject of great pending news, according to a tweet by its developer. Quantic Dreams posted on Twitter, profusely thanking their fans for all the support in 2018. The Devs then went on to tease that there will be great news coming soon. Surely by the nature of a teaser, all fans are left with is speculation. Some fans believe new DLC’s will be released among other and probable guesses. However only one thing is for certain, great news is imminent.
Console Players Can Now See Metal Gear Solid 5’s Secret Cutscene
Konami Digital Entertainment reported that Metal Gear Solid 5’s secret cinematic cut-scene is now available on consoles. Previously, only PC players can activate it through a tricky endeavor. The game has an online component with the FOB Base that allows all players to handle nuclear weapons. The moment that all the nuclear weapons online are disarmed, the game plays the secret cut-scene. This is great news for console players because now they can indulge in the rare cinematic clip.
Babylon’s Fall Teased Plus New Upcoming Square Enix Games
At E3 2018, Square Enix teased that Babylon’s Fall is in development by Platinum Games. After over 6 months some Square Enix developers started teasing new information. Among the lot was Producer Yosuke Saito who announced that he hopes to release more information on the game in 2019. He further stated that he is working very hard on a some unannounced titles and will continue to do so. For some fans the news is not much but better than nothing and will serve as a means to keep their hopes alive.
Atlas To Receive Regular Updates Due To Stormy Launch, Devs Apologizes
After several delays, Atlas finally launched in Early Access last week. However, it seems the delays were not enough to get the title out smoothly as the launch was plagued by connection issues and numerous bugs. This has prompted developer Studio Wildcard to release a post on Steam apologizing for what they called a “stormy” launch, explaining that their servers were not able to handle the initial influx of players. They’ve also promised constant updates to improve stability and balance.
Last Night Hits Wall With ‘Massive Legal and Funding Issues’
The open-world cyberpunk platformer from developer Odd Tales no longer has a definite release window on Steam. Creator Tim Soret revealed on Twitter that they’ve run into what he calls as “massive business, and funding issues” that they can’t talk about. The same issues caused them to cancel a new trailer that was supposed to be shown at The Game Awards. The studio is now trying to raise funds for the game and Soret is requesting investors to contact them through email at email@example.com.
Drift 19 Announced, Claims To Be ‘First and Only Serious Drifting Simulator’
Developer ECC games announced their newest racing simulation game called Drift 19. They are claiming that this is “the world’s first realistic drift driver simulator” there is. The game is inspired by the history of drifting and it includes the most iconic drifting vehicles all over. Players have the chance to race in the Ebisu track with vehicles that were purchased, fixed and tuned with the different parts available. Drift 19 will launch for PC this year with console releases to follow.
Jump Force Xbox One Open Beta Dates Leaked
The Jump Force open beta dates have been leaked by a Redditor named Supa_HM02. The Redditor shared a screenshot and it showed that the date and times of the open beta will be on January 18th up until the 20th. On the 18th the times available are from 1:00-4:00 PST and 21:00-23:59 PST. On the 19th and 20th, it will be from 12:00-15:00 PST. For right now this information is only available to those who were able to play in the closed beta. We should wait for Bandai Namco to make the official announcement.
Conan Exiles DLC Seekers of the Dawn Launched
The newest DLC for Conan Exiles has been made available and it is called Seekers of the Dawn Pack. This new DLC had been released by Funcom for the Windows version of the game. The console versions which are PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will have this at a later date. Conan Exiles – Seekers of the Dawn Pack introduces the Yamatai themed weapons, armour, buildings as well as pet skins to the game. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Gets ESRB Rating
According to the Entertainment Software Rating Board, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is getting a Mature rating because it has contents that are categorized as Blood, Drug Reference, Intense Violence as well as Strong Language. The game comes with highly realistic gunfire, blood splatters as well as cries of pain. Intense violence can also be seen with characters getting shot in the head at close range and so forth. Red Dead Redemption 2 is number one on the 2018 top 10 UK games chart. It was immediately apparent that the game would be a total success considering the overwhelmingly positive reception it garnered. Red Dead Redemption 2 became the best-selling physical game in the UK’s final trading week of the year, after also topping the Christmas charts the week before. The pinnacle status will likely go unchanged for a while longer as there are no major releases until late January.
Lego: Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Vanished From Steam
One eagle-eyed Redditor named SuperMoonkey noticed that both Lego: Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit are now missing on Steam as well as in other stores. The pages are still available but without the option to purchase it. The usual cause of these cases are expired licenses since both games are based on movies. But if you already own the games, you will still be able to play them. You would just have to activate your keys from the Humble Store so that it would reappear once again.
Bethesda Unintentionally Removes Fallout 76’s Nuke Codes
Fallout 76 fans commenced the year shrouded in confusion as there were no more nuke codes in the game. The codes which enabled players to deploy nukes on target locations were rumored to have been intentionally removed for undisclosed reasons. Bethesda took to Twitter to end the speculative spam by announcing the situation was not intentional and that they are currently investigating it. Hopefully, online nuclear warfare will resume soon for the sake of Bethesda and their loyal fans.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Switch Port Won’t Be Happening
Red Dead Redemption 2 will not be coming to Switch, is the conclusion based on Nintendo of America’s President Reggie Fils-Aime’s recent statements. The essence of his statements were, Red Dead Redemption 2 is not absent from Switch because the console is incapable of running a game of that caliber. Read Dead is absent because it was being developed long before Nintendo began developing the unconventional console. Fils-Aime also expressed that he would love to have RDR2 on the Switch.

Currently, there is a fairly wide range of high performing consoles to choose from, Slightly Mad Studios CEO Ian Bell dares to add another. Ian Bell tweeted “What is the Mad Box? It’s the most powerful console ever built… It’s literally ‘Mad’… You want 4k, you want VR at 60FPS? You want a full engine for free to develop your games on it? You have it.” Creating a console is not an easy feat but gamers will always be excited to welcome new ones. The Mod box is estimated to release in three years.

Blizzard banned over 18,000 South Korean accounts in an effort to rid the game of its toxicity. For almost every online game, especially ones that require communication and teamwork the issues regarding toxicity are synonymous. Many developers have tried implementing their own anti-toxicity measures and Blizzard’s are among the lot that is notably effective. A month after implementing the system Blizzard saw a 28.8% decrease of toxic chat in America and 21% reduction in Korea.
Fallout 76 To Have Player Created Shops
New updates are on the horizon for the post-apocalyptic game Fallout 76. The most notable of all is the player vending where players are able to set up shop and trade with the other survivors of the wasteland. For right now the details of this new player vending is not yet available. Would your camp be your shop? Or would there be a vending machine that you would have to refill with goods now and then? Here Are The Games That You Can Expect In The Xbox Game Pass For January
The Xbox Game Pass is one handy subscription to have at £8 per month only. This month, Microsoft confirmed that Life is Strange 2 will be available in the Pass, already having the first episode and assuming the other episodes will be made available as they are launched. Other games arriving this month are Ark: Survival Evolved, Farming Simulator 17, Absolver, Just Cause 3, and Aftercharge. Last month we saw Hellblade, Below, Ashen, Mortal Kombat X and more added. Currently, Xbox Game Pass has 206 games.
Gwent Card Crafting Restrictions Include ‘Full Mill Value’ Refunds
CD Projekt has launched a new update for the Witcher based card game Gwent. With the update scraps are no longer able to create premium cards directly. The developer explains that “the result is an overabundance of premium cards, which diminishes the sense of accomplishment”. Also, restrictions to the “full mill value refund” has been done where “minor tweaks” to a card is no longer qualified for a full mill value refund. Future tweaks and changes are expected as long as it is necessary in the game.
Monster Hunter World Collaborates With Assassin’s Creed, Gets Bayek
Capcom announced the collaboration between Assassin’s Creed and Monster Hunter World. The partnership will have players going after some of the fastest monsters in the game for Senu’s Feather. Complete this challenge and you will get two new pieces of gear which are the Bayek Layered Armor as well as the Assassin’s Hood which is a specialized tool. The layered armor of Bayek can be worn on top of your existing equipment adding to your stats. The hood can boost your attacks when on a stealth state.
