Final Season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead Back in Development

Telltale’s The Walking Dead The Final Season is back in development. This is all thanks to the series’ creator Robert Kirkman and his company Skybound. Previously the logistics and the legalities of taking The Walking Dead series from Telltale had been hindering production for the final season, but they are now happy to announce that the game’s development is resuming. Also, the original team members that worked on the game from Telltale had been hired to continue on the project.


Rainbow Six Siege Defender Mute Gets an SMG-11 in New Update

Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Wind Bastion is out now, and while most of the spotlight is on the two new Operators Nomad and Kaid, the update also has awesome new stuff for defender Mute. The update adds a new loadout for the iconic defender with the SMG-11 on top of his P226 Mk 25 handgun. Ubisoft said they wanted players to see Mute as “a more attractive choice” and make him a strong Operator by giving him the option to equip the SMG-11.


Fallout 76’s New Patch is Almost 50 GB in Size on Consoles

Bethesda released the newest patch for the game Fallout 76 and it is almost 50 GB for consoles. For PS4, it is 47 GB and for Xbox One it is 48 GB. For those playing on PC it would just be 15 GB. By just looking at the patch notes, it seems as if it only includes some stabilization as well as overall game improvements, but nothing that would seem to require such a huge file size. It is possible that they are laying down the groundwork for future updates. The patch notes can be seen on their site.


Riot Introduces New League of Legends Champion Neeko

League of Legends’ 142nd champion has been named! The new champion is Neeko the chameleon, and she’s a shapeshifter. She has a tail that looks much like a chameleon’s, and when she stands beside friendly players, she will take the form of the champion beside her and trick enemies. It also appears like she can create a clone of herself. Neeko doesn’t have a definite release date at this time.


New PUBG Update Adds Emotes

PUBG’s update 23.1 on PC adds something new to the game – emotes. The update adds a new customizable emote wheel with up to 12 emotes that players can activate at a time. The motes include actions such as Air Guitar, Zapped, and Draw! Additional content added to the game include PUBG friends list of up to 50 friends, main menu voice chat, and a lot of bug fixes. New Darksiders 3 Trailer Showcases Intro Cutscene

Darksiders 3 has a brand new trailer and it features the intro cutscene of the game. The video lets us know more about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse as well as the backstory of the game. It is said that the Four Horsemen betrayed the other warriors that they had been a part of. Fury, one of the Four Horsemen, will be the character that you will be playing. You will be hunting down the Seven Deadly Sins to prove that you are the fiercest of the four. Darksiders 3 will launch on November 27, 2018.


DayZ Gets Stable Beta for PC

DayZ was in Early Access starting 2013, and this year it finally launched into beta on PC. The game launched into a stable beta in November 7th, and includes a new range of features such as base-building, character representation, improved zombies, and vehicles. Modding support for PC was also added. The game is slated to leave Early Access by the end of this year.


Rurouni Kenshin and Shishio Makoto Confirmed to Be Joining Jump Force Roster

Bandai Namco has confirmed that Kenshin Himura and Shishio Makoto, who are characters from the manga “Rurouni Kenshin” are both joining Jump Force’s roster. Himura will be wielding his iconic reverse-blade sword also known as sakabato. Makoto, on the other hand, is known for his appearance as almost his entire body is covered in bandage due to gruesome burns covering his body. We can expect these two characters to arrive when Jump Force launches February 15th on PC and consoles.


Let It Die Celebrates 2nd Year

It is the second anniversary of Let It Die and to celebrate they have a new collaboration with ‘No More Heroes’ which offers skill decals that can affect skills and items for Travis Touchdown, Sylvia Christel, Shinobu, Speed Buster, Destroyman, Holly Summers, Bad Girl, Jeane, Henry, and Dr. Peace. There will also be 2nd-anniversary equipment, ultra 3D glasses, beam katana, and the No More Heroes limited time collab exclusive weapon. All of these will be available up until January 16, 2019.


The Dark Eye Heads to Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition

Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is getting a free Game Master Campaign, and it is set in the Dark Eye universe. The campaign is titled The Prison of Shadow and it is a brand-new adventure made for three to five players. These players were sent to an abandoned dwarven city where they would have to hunt for a magical artefact. They will also meet cultists of the nameless god along the way. The Prison of Shadow will automatically be added to the game by November 21st.


V-Rally 4 Switch Release Date Announced

V-Rally 4 is heading to the Nintendo Switch! Bigben and Kylotonn Racing Games announced that the game will be released December 13th, in Europe, and February 5th, in the United States. The game’s first DLC called Supercharge Pack is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and it comes with 5 popular V-Rally 4 cars: Porsche 911, GT 997 (Rally), Volkswagen Polo RX (V-Rally Cross), Tatum Class 10 (Buggy), Volkswagen Polo R WRC (Rally), and Ford Mustang Fastback (Extreme Khana).

Black Ops 4 is October’s Top-Selling Game

The NPD Group has released their report for the month of October, and Call of Duty Black Ops 4 emerged as the top-selling game for the month! Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 took the second spot, followed by Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, NBA 2K19, and Super Mario Party. The NPD also reports that Black Ops 4 is now the best selling game in the US thanks to its first month Dollar sales, while Red Dead Redemption 2 is the second best selling game of 2018 at this time.


Hitman 2’s Elusive Target #1 Hunt Has Begun

The time has finally come! Hitman 2 players can finally hunt down and kill the first Elusive Target, Mark “The Undying” Faba played by Sean Bean. Players will have 14 days to hunt him down and eliminate him. The Elusive Target mission will end December 4th, and once it ends, it’s already over. There will be more Elusive Targets coming in the future, but there will only be one chance to kill Sean Bean in Hitman 2, so grab this chance while you can.


No Man’s Sky’s “Visions” Update Revealed

A new update for No Man’s Sky seems to have gotten leaked through an unlisted trailer in Hello Games’ YouTube Channel. The video has the title “No Man’s Sky Visions” and it looks like it is pertaining to a huge new update coming to the game which will be called “Visions.” By the looks of it, it seems like Visions will take players back to land, and it features new environmental biomes, more colorful worlds, more planet types, and archaeology and savaging, and many, many more. Hello Games is yet to confirm this.


Rocket League Gets Enhanced Xbox One X Support in Upcoming Update

Psyonix will be rolling out an update for Rocket League this December, and while it includes important updates to all platforms, it also adds enhanced support for the Xbox One X. This update will allow Xbox One X users to play it in native 4Kat 60 fps, complete with HDR. As for other platforms, the December update includes Leaderboards for Ranked Extra Modes, more Weekly Win Bonuses, brand new ‘Rocket League x Monstercat Vol. 5’ EP, and many more. The update releases December 3rd on all platforms.


Enter the Gungeon’s DLC Has Been Canceled

Developer Dodge Roll has announced that they will be halting development on Enter the Gungeon’s Advanced Gungeons & Draguns expansion. The studio said they will be “working on a free final update focusing on fixing bugs and performance issues and will feature a new character who starts with random equipment, new guns, and items” instead. They will also be working on some unannounced smaller features. They are also going to be working on a new game, which is currently at its early, early stage.


Resident Evil Crosses Over to Street Fighter 5 Next Week

We are getting a costume crossover for Resident Evil to Street Fighter 5 come November 27th. Here, Cammy gets to wear a Jill Valentine costume, while Urien will get an Albert Wesker costume and Kolin will get to be Ada Wong. The outfits mentioned are only available for purchase. Capcom has not mentioned how much these will cost though. But if it is the same as the others, it would likely be four Dollars each. Cammy’s costume is the most notable of all since this is the first time she will be wearing pants.


1.35 Million GTA Money Up for Grabs This Week

Rockstar is feeling extra generous for Grand Theft Auto 5 Online this week as players can earn up to 1.35 million in GTA money! Players won’t have to do anything special to earn this aside from logging into the game. This is available up until November 26th. For the first time that you will be signing in, this will earn you 750,000 GTA money and the following days until the 26th will earn you 100,000 GTA money per day. All of these will be credited to your Maze bank account by December 3rd.


Fortnite is Hosting 1 Million-Dollar Winter Tournament

Epic Games is launching an open online tournament in Fortnite with a whopping 1 million- Dollar prize pool! The Winter Royale tournament is open to anyone in North America and Europe. Qualifying rounds will be held on November 24th and November 25th, and those who make the cut can play in their respective regions’ finals on November 30th for Europe and December 11th for North America. There will also be “Pop Up Cups” which are smaller tournaments that will serve as tests for tweaks.


Ubisoft Won’t Be Making Aesthetic Changes to Rainbow Six Siege Anymore

Ubisoft announced that they will be reverting all the aesthetic changes they did on Rainbow Six Siege after fans lash at them. These changes include references to gambling, sex, and blood, and Ubisoft planned to have them changed to comply with regulations of Asian territories. The company said they took the community and their team’s feedback into consideration and decided to revert these. It added that while some may have already been reverted, there may be some that may linger and asked for understanding as they work on these.


Cyberpunk 2077 Will Feature Hacking Mechanisms

CD Projekt RED has been really quiet when it comes to details on Cyberpunk 2077, but a recent social media interaction teased what might be included in the game. A Reddit user named bboymurchant posted a screenshot of his conversation with the game’s official Facebook account. He asked how hacking will work in the game. The account replied and said Netrunning will be an important part of the game and “gameplay-wise, you’ll be able to hack systems to help you during missions, open doors, distract enemies, etc.”


Civilization 6: Gathering Storm DLC Out February 2019

Firaxis announced that they will be releasing their second major expansion for their game Civilization 6 and it is called Gathering Storm. The expansion is set to release on February 14, 2019 and will cost you about $40. This new expansion will be introducing new environmental effects as well as new features like a world congress, renewable energy, and power. This time, the weather and power resources will affect each other as it could impact the ecosystem and ultimately the fate of the planet.
