Piccolo and Cell Join Jump Force

Jump Force is getting two new Dragon Ball characters and this time around it will be Piccolo and Cell. This ties up the number of Dragon Ball characters with the characters of One Piece for the game. The news came from the Japanese magazine V Jump that was translated by Event Hubs. Also, coming to the game’s roster are classic characters Rurouni Kenshin and Shishio, they will be joining other classic characters like Saint Seira, Yu Yu Hakusho. Jump Force will launch on February 15, 2019.


Final Fantasy 14 Gets Limited Blue Mage Job

Square Enix CEO, Yosuka Matsuda announced that a new job will be coming to Final Fantasy 14. The new job title is the Blue Mage and it is actually a limited job. “Limited Jobs” will be explained at a later date. The Blue Mage, however, will not be connected to any specific class and most of your actions will be learned from monsters. A level cap of 50 is also needed for this job. Additional new jobs will also be available in the future added Yoshida, but this will be available by perhaps next summer.


The Sims 4 Get Famous Out Now

The Sims 4 Get Famous expansion pack is out now and it comes with a launch trailer. This is now available for PC and Mac and it comes with a new location and career. In Get Famous, players can choose a career as actors to become movie stars. The new location is called Del Sol Valley which has the Mirage Park, a starting location for the aspiring artists. When you’ve reached major stardom you can move to The Pinnacles. This will also come with 400+ new items for furniture redecorations.


Final Fantasy 7 Remake “Progressing Favorably”

Final Fantasy director Tetsuya Nomura shared a few details on the on-going development on Final Fantasy 7’s remake. According to Nomura, the remake is “progressing favorably,” debunking previous reports that claim development on the remake has not progressed. A previous report claims development on the remake has not progressed and was stopped in order to work on Kingdom Hearts 3, which is aother project under Nomura.


Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Shows Off Gameplay in New Trailer

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was able to reveal a brand new trailer during the Golden Joystick Awards. It is a short trailer, and some of the story scenes are not new but the gameplay has brand new dogfighting footage. Also, a limited edition of the game has also been revealed which includes some short stories by Sunao Katabuchi, one of the scriptwriters of Ace Combat 4 and 5. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 18 and the PC launch will be on February 1.


Microsoft is Releasing a Disc-Less Xbox One Next Year

A new report claims that Microsoft will be launching a new Xbox One console next year, and it will be disc-less. Thurrott claims they got this information from inside sources. The report says the new console is not the rumored “Scarlett” but will instead be an updated Xbox One version. Although Microsoft has not given official word on this, the report claims this console will launch by 2019.


Rurouni Kenshin Might Be Joining Jump Force

It appears like characters from the Rurouni Kenshin series might be joining Jump Force. The latest issue of Shonen Jump hinted that Rurouni Kenshin himself and Shishio Makoto will be joining the Jump Force roster. This is but a rumor as of this time, so we need to wait for official word from Bandai Namco. Rurouni Kenshin is an anime that debuted back in 1994 and has since become a worldwide hit.


Planet Coaster Celebrates 2nd Year

Planet Coaster is celebrating its second anniversary! To celebrate, the Planet Coaster Deluxe Pack will be heading to Steam. The Planet Coaster Deluxe Pack contains the base game plus five themed packs which are Spooky, Adventure, Studios, Vintage and World’s Fair. This also contains more than 110 rides and coasters, over 2,000 scenery items, and much more. The Deluxe Pack is also currently available at a discounted price for a limited time only so you might want to take advantage of that.


SMITE Playable Characters Hit 100

Developer Titan Forge has announced the 99th and 100th characters for its free-to-play game SMITE, but they’re not gods. Set to release sometime next year, the two new characters are Merlin and King Arthur. King Arthur will come with a brand new style of melee combos plus fluid animations, while Merlin will feature arcane arts as he is a Mage. SMITE will soon get a cross-platform play feature.


Bugs Must Die Demo Updated

Dragonglass Games Workshop has announced that they are releasing the final demo for Bugs Must Die. The demo has been updated and will give players access to a total of 6 levels and 2 modes. The updated demo also features two new tutorials, as well as an optimized weapon switching system. It also features rewards for completing objectives as well as the option to restore your vehicle one time after it gets destroyed. Dragonglass hopes to get 50,000 wishlists for the game so they can release it before December 20th.


One Piece World Seeker Release Date Revealed

Bandai Namco revealed the new trailer for One Piece World Seeker and along with that is the game’s official release date. The game will now have a launch date of March 15, 2019, available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Pre-orders are open right now. The trailer brings a summary of things that we know about the game like Luffy exploring Prison Island by swinging around, the different battle systems, different Haki modes as well as Luffy’s moveset and charges plus his Gear Fourth.

Star Citizen Crowdfunding Campaign Surpasses 200-Million Mark

Cloud Imperium Games has hit a major milestone as funding for its game Star Citizen has surpassed 200 million Dollars! Co-founder Chris Roberts confirmed this news, saying that this is “the highest total for any project in the history of crowdfunding.” The game was first announced back in 2012, with crowdfunding reaching 141 million Dollars by 2017, and even receiving an additional 31.91 million over the course of that year. Back in October of this year, the company also secured an additional 1.3 million in a week during CitizenCon.


Rainbow Six Siege’s Wind Bastion to Launch on Test Servers Soon

Rainbow Six Siege’s Year Three is about to end, and before it does, a big major update is coming to the game. Operation Wind Bastion is heading to the game’s test servers on PC on November 19th, and the new Morocco Map, Fortress, as well as two new Moroccan Operators will become available to players. Players will need a Year 3 Pass in order to try them out early, while everyone else will get to access it a week after.


Epic Might Add Chicken-Themed Skin to Fortnite Designed by 8-Year-Old Fan

An 8-year-old Fortnite fan might be getting a huge treat from Epic Games, as it appears like they’re adding the chicken-themed skin which he designed himself to the game. His father posted the chicken skin concept on Reddit and called it Chicken Trooper, then later on a Redditor named Etsyturtle2 did some tweaks and made it prettier and called it Tender Defender. Etsyturtle2 said he spoke with Epic and that it might actually be added to the game. A datamine also shows a skin called Tender Defender which looks exactly as the one Etsyturtle2 did.


FIX PUBG Wraps Up

PUBG has been fixed, PUBG Corp. says. This is after the company launched a project called Fix PUBG which ran for the past three months. The project focused on fixing some of the game’s biggest issues such as matchmaking, performance, balance and fair play. PUBG Executive Producer Jang Taeseok said that moving forward they will be focusing more on stability and gameplay quality. He added that they have overlooked issues that mattered to players, and have reflected a lot on their mistakes.


Fortnite’s Mounted Turrets Get Nerfed

A few days after going live in Fortnite, Epic Games is nerfing the mounted turrets. This is after players have reported an exploit that makes players create almost indestructible traps. The turrets’ availability will also now be limited to Solos, Duos, and Quads. Epic Games also recently reduced the turret floor health from 5,000 to 1,000, and its turret health from 800 to 400. The mounted turrets were rolled out with the game’s update version 6.30.


New Fighter Coming to Dead or Alive 6

Dead or Alive 6 is getting a new character added to the roster and it is NiCO. She is a MIST employee, 18 years of age, from Finland and is known as the “Azure Flash Cybertechnician”. She is an intelligent gal who is a master of both tech as well as weaponry. She uses electro-shock gloves in fights. Also, just announced recently, actually over the weekend is the additional character Kokoro and Lisa who will be the masked luchadora La Mariposa. Dead or Alive will launch on February 15 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.


H1Z1 Pro League Shuts Down

The H1Z1 Pro League is shutting down. The league was launched April of this year, where players signed a contract which states they will receive a stipend which will come from a 250,000-Dollar budget coming from the league. The stipend was never paid, according to ESPN, and teams have started leaving the league one by one. In a report acquired by ESPN, the league is still working on ways to pay these teams. League manager Jace Hall also cited “dwindling interest” in the game as one of the reasons for shutting down.


New PUBG Update Brings Customizable Emote Wheel, Name Change Item

PUBG was able to release a new update called the patch 23.1. This will come with some bug fixes as well as the new emote system for the game. This is the new customizable emote wheel which will come with three new emotes. Also, the new Name Change item is being tested. This is a great item for those who would want to change their test server names. A free pass will be available by logging in on the test server to test the item. Fallout Modder Developing Photo Mode for Fallout 4

Thanks to an amazing Fallout 4 modder, the game now has its photo mode! The modder is registrator2000 and he was able to build a working photo mode for the game. It is still a work-in-progress but its features are amazing. The photo mode can be accessed via the pause menu and a hotkey. It will also come with different options like color tints, depth of field tweaks, contrast, saturation, field of view, view roll and so much more. Navigation has also been made easy with the pop-up menu. Job well done!


Battlefield 5 Players Report Bug That Freezes Game When Checking a Specific Menu

Battlefield 5 players have reported a bug which freezes the game every time they try accessing a specific menu when the game is paused. Clicking on “Assignments” from the Pause Menu will apparently freeze the game, and the only way to get off it is to use the keystroke Alt + F4. Some players also report that they experience the same issue when accessing the “Server Info” button. DICE is yet to issue a fix to this issue.


Discord Store’s Early Access Section Available Now

A month after launching its very own game store, Discord now also has its version of Early Access. The launch includes five games with more games coming soon. The games are Kynseed, Parkasaurus, Descenders, Mad Machines, and Visage. Mad Machines is the only game out of those five mentioned that is exclusive to Discord, while the others are already in Steam Early Access.
