Sea of Thieves’ September Update Revealed

Rare shared some details on Sea of Thieves’ September update, Reaper’s Bones. The update will finally add pets to the game after multiple delays. Another important addition this update will bring is the Pirate Emporium, the game’s microtransaction store. Players can also expect to get their pets from the Emporium. Rare also said that aside from pets and the Pirate Emporium, players can expect a lot more from the September update, as this is the most substantial out of all the monthly updates released.


New Apex Legends Event Wants Players to Shell Out More Cash

EA and Respawn are in hot water after revealing the Iron Crown event in Apex Legends. The event comes with new challenges, a solo mode, a new area, and a set of new skins. One of those new skins is Raven’s Bite, and players have to first complete the Iron Crown set and then purchase the skin for 3500 Coins. Reports say this could cost players 170 Dollars in real money, and as expected most players are not happy with it. EA and Respawn are yet to comment on this.


Inside Xbox to Feature Gears 5 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint at Gamescom

Microsoft will be hosting another Inside Xbox livestream on August 19th in Cologne, Germany, the venue for this year’s Gamescom. During the livestream, Microsoft will be revealing more about Gears 5 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Viewers will be able to get a first look at Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s multiplayer, and more details about Gears 5. The stream will also feature Destiny 2’s upcoming Shadowkeep expansion, Gears 4’s Horde Mode, and a lot more.


Spelunky 2 Delayed

Mossmouth has announced that Spelunky 2’s release has been delayed. Mossmouth’s Derek Yu took to Twitter to announce the unfortunate news saying, “Hey, Spelunky fans! Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re going to get to release Spelunky 2 this year. Development is still going well and we’re not far off target, but the density and detail of the game is demanding more time. Thank you for your patience.” The developers are yet to announce a new release date for the game.


Let’s Sing 2020 Launches October 2019

Get ready to sing your hearts out as Ravenscourt and Voxler announced the release date of Let’s Sing 2020! The game will be available starting October 25th on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Let’s Sing 2020 boasts of a strong playlist with 30 international hits and original music videos, including Queen’s “The Show Must Go On” and Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa’s “One Kiss.” It can support solo or up to four players. It also comes with an online leaderboard for the competitive singers out there.


Borderlands GOTY Free to Play on PS4 This Weekend

Borderlands GOTY is having a free-play weekend on the PlayStation 4! It will be available from August 16th, 12:01 am PDT/BST until August 18th, 11:59 pm PDT/BST. Borderlands GOTY is the remake of the original Borderlands game with features like 4K-ready graphics and local 4-player support, among others. It also includes all the previously released DLC for the original game. Players who will participate in the free weekend will also get free bonus points which they can spend in Borderlands 3.


Genesis Noir Announced for Xbox One

Adventure game Genesis Noir is also coming to Xbox One, Fellow Traveller and Feral Cat Den announced. The game was first announced for PC, and is scheduled for release sometime in 2020. Genesis Noir is an exploration game set “before, during, and after The Big Bang” and players will take the role of the protagonist No Man. He is a peddler, but he finds himself “caught up in lust and crime.” Players will be interacting with the game’s world as they explore it, save their love, and stop the expansion of the universe.


Nightwolf Available Now for Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pass Players

The second DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11 is available now, and it is Nightwolf. He was playable in 2011’s Mortal Kombat, and now players who own the Kombat Pass will soon be able to play him in Mortal Kombat 11. Nightwolf made his debut in Mortal Kombat 3 back in 1995. He’s coming with his classic attacks including his spirit bow, fast tackle, and projectile aura. In addition to Nightwolf, Kombat Pass owners will also get a bonus costume for Sonya Blade.

After six years in development, Spry Fox is happy to announce that its spiritual successor to Realm of the Mad God is finally set for release. Steambirds Alliance will finally be launching August 22nd, and will be available on Steam after its open beta phase. Steambirds Alliance will feature new content and tons of improvements from the open beta. It has a new extreme difficulty mode for Veterans, dungeon mods, new enemy types, tons of rebalancing, and a lot more.


LA Noire: The VR Case Files Rated for PS4

L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files has received a PEGI rating for the PlayStation 4. The game first released on Steam back in 2017. As with its PC version, the game got a PEGI-18 rating on the PlayStation 4 for violence and bad language. The release date shown on the ratings page was August 12th, but it was obviously a placeholder. The page has since been taken down, but a screenshot of it has been circulating at ResetEra. We will wait for an official word from Sony on whether they are actually releasing the game on their console or not.

Overwatch has received its latest update, and it adds the new playable hero, Sigma. He was first introduces in the PTR, and now players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One can finally play as the new tank. Sigma is an astrophysicist who can manipulate gravity. He can launch “gravity charges” and use his kinectic grasp ability to freeze projectiles and turn them into shields. His ultimate is called Gravity Flux which lifts enemies then slams them back down.

Epic Games is apologizing for releasing an in-game item that looks similar to a Battle Pass item. Dying Light 2 Extended Gameplay Launches This Month

Dying Light 2 will be at the Gamescom expo this year in Cologne, Germany. 2 Versus 1 Battlemode for Doom Eternal Revealed in Trailer

The multiplayer trailer of Doom Eternal has been shared and it features a two versus one Battlemode. This mode will offer two players controlling two demons and one human Slayer that is heavily armed. The video introduces three of the five demons that will be available when the game launches as well as a quick tour around the game’s map. The mode looks very busy and frenetic.
