Rainbow Six Siege 3-Versus-3 Wild West Showdown Event Now Live

For a limited time, all Rainbow Six Siege Operators will be donning cowboy outfits in the game’s new Showdown mode. The mode also comes with a new small map, Fort Truth. The Showdown mode is really short, with rounds only lasting 90 seconds. 2 teams with 3 Operators each will have to eliminate the enemy team within the time period. All of them are also only armed with a Wild West-era repeater rifle as well as a trust rifle. The Showdown mode will only run until July 16th.


Wreckfest is Coming to Console This August

Online racing game Wreckfest is finally heading to consoles. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting August 27th. The console versions will be available in both the Standard and Deluxe editions. Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition will get a one-day early play on August 26th. Also, anyone who pre-orders the console versions will get the exclusive Bandit Ripper V8 racer.


New Evil Dead Game Confirmed

A new Evil Dead game is coming, as confirmed by actor Bruce Campbell who plays the character Ash in the series. He also clarified that the game is being developed for PC and consoles, but not for VR unlike what reports have previously said. At this time, there’s no information as to when the game will be released, who’s developing it, or even what kind of game it will be.


New Story Difficulty Revealed in The Division 2 PTS

The Division 2 is testing some features that have often been requested in its PTS. One of the features available in the testing server right now are two story missions. The tests will also allow players to play these story missions in the new “discovery” difficulty setting which allows matchmaking. Back in May, players complained that the new raid did not allow matchmaking unlike what was promised, so this new discovery difficulty setting could be one of the solutions. The tests will run until Thursday, July 4th.


Claptrap Shows Pandora in First Borderlands 3 Video

Gearbox and 2K Games have released the first video in their Borderlands 3 video series which talks about the game. The first one stars the robot Claptrap as he gives us a look at the game’s flora and fauna which are found in Pandora. The video showcases the different creatures players will find in the game as well as some structures in the map. More special videos like this one will be released in the future, leading to the game’s release on September 13th.


Cuphead Expansion Delayed to 2020

Cuphead’s expansion, The Delicious Last Course , has been delayed to 2020. This was announced by Studio MDHR. According to the studio, they need to delay the expansion’s release because they want to make sure the “new adventure meets the meticulous level of care and quality” they always strive for. The studio added that the delay will result to “a great experience when it comes out.” The Delicious Last Course DLC will bring new weapons, a new island, a new playable character, and more.


Epic Pays Refunds for Shenmue 3 Backers After Exclusivity Issue

Ys Net and Deep Silver faced angry Kickstarter backers when they announced that Shenmue 3 will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for a year. The fact that it is an Epic Games exclusive is not what irked the backers, but during the game’s Kickstarter campaign, the backers were promised Steam codes for the game. Luckily, Epic Games has stepped out and said they will be issuing refunds to these backers themselves, so that “refunds won’t reduce Ys Net’s development funding,” Epic boss Tim Sweeney said.


Cyberpunk 2077 Features Real-World Band for Its In-Game Band Samurai

CD Projekt Red signed Swedish punk rock band Refused to provide the sound for Cyberpunk 2077’s in-game rock band Samurai. Refused has written, recorded, and produced an EP for Samurai, and the tracks include original songs as well as one that was inspired by the original source material. One of the tracks with the title “Chippin’ It” is included in the game’s E3 cinematic trailer.

Satisfactory’s 2nd Major Update Out Now

Trains and nuclear power has been added to Satisfactory with its second major update. Players are able to build rail lines in order to easily transport goods from one place to another and the nuclear powerplant will help in creating more energy needed for the factory, of course, the downside of this is that there is all that deadly waste that players would have to figure out how to get rid off. Days Gone 1.21 Patch Has Rolled Out

The Days Gone 1.21 patch notes are shared and it introduces a Surrounds mode challenge. This will come as a DLC which is an endless horde mode where players will put their skills to the test in setting up traps and running away and basically surviving as long as you can. The Surrounds mode is actually a first in the series of other challenge modes that are soon to come and will be available weekly. Those who are successful in the challenges will earn ranks, new characters, accents, and rings.


Black Desert Coming Soon to PS4

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Reload Mechanic Change

Infinity Ward recently revealed some new details about how reloading works in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. According to animation director Mark Grigsby, players will be able to reload while aiming down sights. This change was done in an effort to preserve the immersion of being in combat. In addition, the reload animation you see will be dependent on how many bullets you have left in your clip. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, launches on October 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Devolver Digital has confirmed August 6 to be the day Metal Wolf Chaos XD will be coming to the gaming world. In an effort to make this special announcement the developers released a new gameplay trailer. Devolver Digital dubbed this game “a dream come true” and soon players will be able to understand exactly why it is regarded as such.


Gone Home Now Available for Nintendo Switch

Iam8bit recently published a tweet announcing that its adventure game, Gone Home is currently available on the Nintendo Switch. Clash and deployable shields have officially returned to Rainbow Six Siege. They were removed temporarily to give the developers a chance to iron out some unwarranted interactions they had with the game. Ubisoft affirms that they are confident and pleased with the performance of the items on the game’s public test server but will still monitor their interactions on the live client. Now the deployable shield ammo count will be set back to 1 and Clash will be available in operator select.


CODE VEIN System Requirements Revealed

Bandai Namco has officially revealed the official PC system requirements for its upcoming action role-playing-game, CODE VEIN. Upon analyzing the said requirements, it is safe to conclude that Code Vein will not be pleasant to extremely low-end PC gamers. However, anyone sporting an i5-2300 processor, 6 GB RAM, with a GTX 760 or Radeon HD 7850 graphics card onward should be able to run the game. CODE VEIN releases on September 27, 2019, for PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Spider-Man PS4 Gets Free DLC Suits from Far From Home

Insomniac Games appears to be in a charitable and celebratory mode as it has announced the release of two suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man inspired by Spider-Man: Far From Home that players can acquire free of cost. This announcement came via a tweet by the developers showcasing one of the two suits with a caption congratulating MarvelStudios and SonyPictures on the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home. The suits are the Upgraded Suit and the Stealth Suit.
