New Mod Available For Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was able to receive a mod that will allow players to build serious story quests in the game. The mod is called ‘radish tools’ and it is by a modder named Rmemr. The mod comes with an interactive in-game storyboard UI, a UI for creating environmental parameters for quests, a tool that can script and block actions and set trigger and action-points. There is even a tool that can listen to spoken dialogue in order to get the lip sync of characters correctly.
Anthem Roadmap Plans Delayed
Anthem was able to receive a major update that was able to fix a lot of annoying things in the game, but as fans of the game has suspected, this actually pushed the plans for the April roadmap back. When Anthem launched Bioware shared with it a roadmap teasing Cataclysms, more end game content as well as Freeplay Events that has weekly rotations and now, Bioware was not able to make any announcements as to when these will be coming as they are trying to fix a lot of things in the game as of the moment.
Nepal Unbans PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds
For right now, the popular battle royale game, PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds has been unbanned in Nepal. Last April 11th, the game had been banned in Nepal under the grounds that it is addicting and that it leads to aggression. However, Nepal’s Supreme Court wants actual proof of the cited complaints so that the ban could be justified. The same thing happened in Iraq last week with the Iraq parliament seeking the game’s ban despite the lack of evidence made available to them.
For Honor Introduces A New Character Named Sakura
A new combatant has been introduced in For Honor and it is a warrior named Sakura. Ubisoft announced her with a cinematic reveal trailer. She has a ghostly but demonic voice, a bloody weapon, and a scary looking mask. She even says in the reveal trailer that your soul is hers. The video is just quick and it doesn’t really give that much detail about the character. This new Japanese warrior will be available in the game’s third year, second season. For Honor is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
New Minecraft Village And Pillage Update Now Live
The new Minecraft Village and Pillage update is now available for players who own the Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Players are now able to trade with other villagers, add new blocks to their collection as well as fight with pillagers and so much more. New building types has also been made available there are now bells, sweet berries, a new Wandering Trader and a lot more. This update will be ready once you open up the game. Fallout 76 New Update Finally Introduces The ProSnap Camera
Finally, the ProSnap Camera is now available in Fallout 76 after it has been slightly delayed. To get the camera you must look for the body of a tourist who has perished in the Appalachian region. Once found, this will open up a Bucket List questline. There will be camera related challenges which mainly focuses on taking scenic snapshots. Ice-Pick Lodge’s Pathologic 2 Demo Available Now
The very weird pathological horror game called Pathologic 2 now has a demo available. Pathologic 2 is a first-person survival game by Ice-Pick Lodge which is a Russian studio. The original game launched in 2005, although weird, was able to amass a cult following. The game’s remake had been announced in 2014 and is set to release on May 23rd. Confusingly they called it Pathologic 2, although it is the remake of the original game. The demo is now available and it is about 11 GB in size.
The Division 2 Dominates the March NPD Charts
The Division 2 has dominated the NPD March sales charts! The game is the biggest release of the month as it has sold more than any other game. It’s also Ubisoft’s sixth highest-selling game ever, and now the second best-selling game this year so far. The Division 2 beats Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice which also launched in March and landing on the second spot. Another major release in March was Devil May Cry 5 which landed on number 4.
Sea of Thieves’ Shores of Gold Arrives April 30th
The massive anniversary update coming to Sea of Thieves is set to arrive on April 30th. This huge update adds a ton of content such as fishing, a new Arena PvP mode, and harpooning among others. This also adds a new story-driven quest, Shores of Gold. Shores of Gold will task players into solving puzzles as they face traps and boss encounters. Players will also use magic as well as enchanted items like spyglasses and lanterns in order to solve these puzzles.
Sega to Launch Puyo Puyo Champions in May
Sega is launching Puyo Puyo Champions for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One! The game will be available on the said platforms starting May 7, 2019. The game first launched in Japan in 2018 with the title Puyo Puyo eSports. Puyo Puyo Champions features 24 24 playable characters, local and co-op play with up to four players, and a local tournament mode that supports up to 8 non-concurrent players. There’s also a Challenge Mode for solo players.
Secret Boss Battles Added to Cuphead in Latest Update
Cuphead has received its 1.2 update for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and players will be able to search for secret bosses — three to be exact! These bosses can be found in three different routes. The first one is through The Root Pack, where players will face a giant onion that will turn into an angry radish. The second route is through Djimmi the Great where players will face Djimmi and a little puppet. The final route is through Sally Stageplay where players will face Sally and her husband.
BattleTech’s Urban Warfare Expansion Launches June 4th
BattleTech is getting a new expansion this summer. The Urban Warfare expansion will be launching on June 4th where players will be taking on each other on city streets and even on rooftops. The urban setting will bring in a new tactical challenge for players as they use buildings as places to hide and cover. There are also explosives scattered around the city waiting to be set off. The expansion also introduces two new mechs, as well as a new story mission.
Square Enix Announces Its E3 2019 Presentation Schedule
Square Enix has revealed its E3 2019 presentation schedule. The company will be having its presentation on Monday, June 10th, 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET. This time slot was traditionally occupied by Sony, but we all know they won’t be coming to E3 this year. Square Enix’s presentation will be broadcast live on the company’s website and its official social media accounts. The company said they will be presenting “another exciting line up of titles” this year.
Shakedown Hawaii Launches This May
The follow-up to Retro City Rampage, Shakedown Hawaii, has been announced! The game will be launching on May 7th for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS Vita. Shakedown Hawaii features 16-bit graphics and an open world. Developer Vblank released a trailer which features the challenges players will face in the game such as fluctuating property values, negative reviews, and much more. Players on PC will be able to pre-purchase this game through the Epic Games Store.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom PC Launch Still A Go
Publisher FDG Entertainment has announced that Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is still set to launch for PC, the publisher said in an update on Steam. FDG added that a demo could also be coming for PC players later this month once they finish the majority of tests. “We want to make sure that PC players have a great ‘Day1’ experience with the full version of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom,” the publisher added.
Black Ops 4’s Next Season Teased
Treyarch teased a new mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and you can find it in the patch notes of the game’s upcoming update. This update is probably going to be the last one before the new season begins. The patch notes said that the new mode, Prop Hunt, will finally be coming to the game. Slay the Spire is Coming to the PS4, Official Trailer Released
MegaCrit is finally launching Slay the Spire to the PlayStation 4. It will be available on the Sony console starting May 21st. Slay the Spire mixes deck-building card game elements with roguelike RPG elements as players build their own unique card set and then modify it with new cards. Players can also change how they play their deck using items and events. The game is currently available on PC.
Frostpunk Celebrates Its First Anniversary, 1.4 Million Copies Sold
It’s Frostpunk’s first anniversary, and 11 Bit Studios shared some numbers to show how the game is performing overall. The game has reportedly sold over 1.4 million copies since its launch last year on PC, 11 Bit said. The studio also shared that within 66 hours after the game went on sale, development costs have been recovered. Also, 43.8% of players have completed the main campaign, while 59% of players chose the path of Faith. 2.9% of players failed in Serenity mode. Ritual: Crown of Thorns Announced for Steam Early Access
Violent, fast-paced top-down action game Ritual: Crown of Horns is coming to Steam Early Access. As of today, its Steam page shows it will be launching in Q2 of 2019. The game is set in an alternate Wild West where players will take on the role of a lawman who’s on a mission to track down a witch. The game features an arsenal of weapons like crossbows and rifles, as well as gear like capes and amulets, among other awesome features.
Tank Maniacs Closed Beta Sign-Ups Now Open
Gamelab has launched the closed beta for its fast-paced local multiplayer party game, Tank Maniacs! If you’re interested to join the closed beta, you can sign up on tankmanics.com. Frontier Developments Announces Planet Zoo
Frontier Developments, makers of Planet Coaster and Jurassic World Evolution, announced a new game which will definitely delight animal lovers. The new game is Planet Zoo, and as the name suggests, players will be able to build and manage a modern zoo. The game features authentic living animals, rich management, and endless options for players to get creative. Planet Zoo will be launching exclusively for PC in Autumn 2019.
