PAX East Gameplay Video for Devil’s Hunt Released

The gameplay trailer shown off by 1C Company at this year’s PAX East for Devil’s Hunt has finally been released to the public. The video features about 19-minutes of gameplay set in the Halls of Hell. In it, we see protagonist Desmond fighting demons of every kind with his own demonic abilities and mostly his fists. Developer Layopi Games also told PC Gamer in a previous interview that the game will also feature puzzles, “a robust skill and combo system:, and customizable characters.


The Division 2 In-Game Poster Hints Next Assassin’s Creed Game will be Viking-Themed

Assassin’s Creed fans have been abuzz lately due to what seems like a hint about the next game in the series found in The Division 2. An in-game poster shows what appears to be a Viking wearing an Assassin’s style cloak and holding an orb that’s very similar to the Apples of Eden. Previous games have already established a connection between the Apples of Eden and Vikings. A report released by Kotaku says that their sources say that the next game is codenamed Kingdom and will indeed star Vikings.


Fortnite’s Reboot Vans are Going Live This Week

Epic Games will be rolling out Reboot Vans this week to Fortnite. A dev update was released with a man in a banana suit giving the lowdown on this new mechanic. As expected, it works a lot like the respawn system in Apex Legends. Players will drop cards when they get killed that teammates can pick up and use at a Reboot Van to revive them. The process sets off a beacon of light into the sky and a loud sound that alarms other squads of what you’re trying to do. The Reboot Vans take a while to reactivate once used.


The Kollector Revealed in New Mortal Kombat 11 Trailer

Mortal Kombat 11 has revealed its third new addition to the roster in a new trailer. The Kollector is a six-armed (two are holding his backpack) servant of the Outworld Empire whose moveset includes lots of utility moves and a fatality that sees him literally ripping apart his opponent. Netherrealm Studio has previously announced Geras, the loyal servant of main antagonist Kronika, and Cetrion, an Elder God with elemental powers. Mortal Kombat launches on April 23rd.


BAFTA Games Awards Winners Named

God of War was the big winner at this year’s British Academy Games Awards, winning in 5 categories including the top prize of Best Game. Forza Horizon 4 won British Game and Fortnite took home the BAFTA for Evolving Game. Indie favorite Return of the Obra Dinn won Artistic Achievement and Game Design, while Into the Breach got the Original Property BAFTA. Nintendo Labo was recognized in both Family and Game Innovation, while Old School Runescape won the public vote for EE Mobile Game of the Year.


Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Mod Gives Players an “Easy” Mode, Sort Of

The Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Mod that was originally meant to unlock the game’s framerate has now added a much-requested feature for the game — an “Easy” mode. Modder uberhalit has achieved this by slowing down the player and the game itself, making it easier to block, deflect and avoid enemy attacks. Enter The Gungeon’s Farewell to Arms Update Live Now

Enter the Gungeon’s final update, “A Farewell to Arms,” has finally arrived on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The release of this update also coincides with the game’s third year since its release. The update brings two new playable Gungeoneers in The Paradox and The Gunslinger, dozens of new guns and items, a new secret floor with a new boss, as well as the addition of Rainbow Mode. This update also brings some tweaks and fixes o the game.


Strategy Card Game Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission Out Now

SUPER DRAGON BALL HEROES WORLD MISSION has officially launched. This tactical RPG card game is available on PC via Steam, and on Nintendo Switch. This spin-off is also a first in the Dragon Ball Heroes series. The game first released in Japan. BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. Brand Manager Mark Religioso said that players will definitely enjoy Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission as it “offers the perfect blend of strategic card battle gameplay combined with the beloved Dragon Ball universe.”


Here are the Famitsu Award 2018 Winners

The Famitsu Award 2018 took place on April 5th in Japan, and the winners have been named. There are two Game of the Years for this year: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Monster Hunter: World. Another big winner for the night was Masahiro Sakurai who directed Monster Hunter World, and was awarded the MVP Award. The Best Game Maker Award went to Capcom. An Excellence Prize was also awarded to a list of games which include Octopath Traveler, God of War, Fortnite, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, and many more.


FC Barcelona Forms Rocket League Team

Spanish soccer club FC Barcelona has signed a professional Rocket League team, and will be joining the Rocket League Championship Series. The team picked up a team of players which were formerly known as “Savage!,” and earned a spot in the previous season after competing in the lower-tier Rivals Series. FC Barcelona first entered the esports scene in 2017 when they signed a team for the Pro Evolution Soccer League.


Persona 5 Has Sold Over 2.4 Million Copies Worldwide

Two years after its release on Western shores, Atlus’ Persona 5 has sold 2.4 million copies worldwide! The good news was revealed during an interview of GNN news with Atlus USA and Sega of America Board of Directors member Naoto Hiraoka. He said, “Since its launch, we have won many game awards, and received much feedback from fans. The response has been very enthusiastic.” The game also set franchise records back in 2017 when its launch sales surpassed that of Persona 4.


New Steam Feature Counters Review Bombing of Borderlands Games

When 2K announced that Borderlands 3 will be an Epic Games Store timed-exclusive, fans proceeded to review-bomb previous titles from the series on Steam. The good news is that Steam’s previously announced Off-Topic Reviews filter is now in place and has prevented the overall rating of the games to go down. Just for Borderlands 2, over 4000 reviews were excluded. These reviews are still posted on the game’s page though, so those browsing can still see them if they wish to.


Formula Fusion Set to Launch as ‘Pacer’ Later This Year

Wipeout-inspired racer Formula Fusion is gearing up to leave Early Access and is not set to launch on PC, Xbox One and PS4 sometime later this year. When it does, it’ll drop the Formula Fusion name and will be sold as Pacer. The game will launch with 5 racers, 14 tracks, 10 weapons, and multiple custom loadouts. Both singleplayer and multiplayer modes will be featured, as well as ranked play and leaderboards. The game will also receive a huge visual update in time for launch.


Skybound Games Releases Vehicular Battle Royale Game notmycar in Early Access

If you like battle royale but want a more fast-paced and explosive pace, here’s a game you might want to look into. notmycar is a new battle royale entry from Skybound Games where players eliminate each other while riding on different vehicles. It’s like PUBG meets Twisted Metal. The game is out now on Steam Early Acces where it is planned to stay for at least six months. It’s free-to-play and those who try out the game before April 12th get an exclusive skin.


Borderlands 3 will Let You Set Loot as Personal

Borderlands co-op players can finally rejoice as Borderlands 3 lead boss designer, Matt Cox, has revealed that players can now set it so that all the loot they see in co-op sessions are their own personal loot. This solves the most glaring quality-of-life problem in the previous games where playing with randoms meant having to fight over loot, which is detrimental to the co-op experience. The option for shared loot will still be available, which is great for when you’re playing with friends.


Realistic WW2 FPS Vanguard Normandy 44 Out Now on Steam Early Access

A new hardcore historical shooter has just landed on Steam Early Access. Vanguard Normandy 1944 puts players in the middle of hardcore tactical battles as part of either British or German infantry squads. The game features historically accurate weapons, uniforms, equipment and maps, all rendered in stunning detail by CRYENGINE. Pathfinder Games director and founder Tom Dudley says they chose the engine due to its photorealism and efficient level building.


The Crew 2 Gets Two New Street Race Vehicles for April

The Crew 2’s April Vehicle Drop brings two new Street Race vehicles for players to enjoy. The first is the 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 that comes with a flat-six engine with three hundred and eighty-five horsepower. Next is a motorcycle — the 2018 Suzuki GSX-R 1000R. This is the most powerful GSX-R ever built and is dubbed as the “King of Sportbikes”. Both are available now to Season Pass owners while other players get access to them on the 10th.


New Bannermen Update Announced

Developer Pathos Interactive and publisher 2tainment GmBH has announced their update 1.1.0 for their game Bannermen! This new update adds to the game two new units which are the Vanguard and the Ballista. A new skirmish map is also now available which can have up to four players with 2 versus 2 or 1 versus 1 plays. The community requested In-game chat and Tactical Pause has now also been added to the game. And lastly, a third difficulty level has been added to this real-time strategy genre!


LEGO DC Super-Villains SHAZAM! DLC Now Available

The LEGO DC Super-Villains: SHAZAM! Movie Level Pack 1 is now available as announced by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. This DLC will be giving the game a new level plus additional DC characters from the Warner Bros. Pictures film, SHAZAM! This is now available for the Season Pass holders with the SHAZAM! Movie Pack 2 to be available on April 23rd. If you purchased the game’s Deluxe Edition the Season Pass does come with it already. Purchasing the DLC separately will be on April 23rd for £4.99.


World War Z Launch Date Confirmed

World War Z gets a release date of April 16, 2019, and is available for PC via the Epic Games store, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is inspired by Paramount Picture’s blockbuster film of the same name. The game offers a co-op campaign that will have four episodes with three chapters each. The four different locations that the game is set in are New York, Jerusalem, Moscow, and Tokyo. Different 4 versus 4, player versus player versus zombie modes are also available to play in the game.


Life Is Strange 2 Episode 3 To Launch Next Month

Square Enix External Studios and DONTNOD Entertainment shared a teaser trailer for their Life Is Strange 2 Episode 3. The third episode is called “Wastelands” and is the continuation of Sean and Daniel Diaz’s journey to Mexico. Here, the brothers were able to befriend a community of drifters and runaways that are entangled in the illegal trade of cannabis through the Californian redwood forests. Life Is Strange 2 Episode 3 Wastelands will be arriving on May 9th, 2019.


Red Dead Redemption 2 Could Have A PC Launch, Exclusive On Epic Games Store

We do warn you to take this next news with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed yet and this sits as a rumor for now. The rumor is that Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting a PC launch on July 9th with the official announcement to be made on April 22nd. Also, the game will be launching exclusively on the Epic Games store. The rumor came from 4Chan that usually has some fake news but their Borderlands 3 leak had been accurate so this may not be a rumor and could possibly be true after all.
