Final Fantasy NT Dissidia Coming for Free on PC and PS4

Square Enix has announced that a free version of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will be heading for PC and PlayStation 4. This will be available starting March 12th. The free version is completely cross-compatible with the full game, according to Square Enix. The announcement, which was posted through a Tweet, also said that there will be a weekly rotation of characters. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is 3-versus-3 crossover fighting game.


Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered Leaks Online

A listing on PEGIā€™s website shows that campaign-only remaster of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as of February 28th. The listing goes by the title: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered. This follows a rumor that spread last year that a Modern Warfare 2 remaster is in the works and will cost around 25 Dollars. We are yet to hear word from Activision whether this listing is true or not.


Horizon Zero Dawn Sells Over 10 Million Copies

Horizon Zero Dawn just celebrated its second anniversary, and with it also comes another milestone. Guerilla Games announced in a blog post that the game has sold ā€œwell overā€ 10 million copies worldwide. Guerillaā€™s managing director Hermen Hulst added in the post, ā€œThe idea that we were able to bring Aloyā€™s journey to so many players is astounding. Weā€™ve been deeply moved by the enormous amount of fan creations youā€™ve posted online, as well as the heartfelt letters youā€™ve sent sharing your favorite moments from Aloyā€™s journey.ā€


Destiny 2ā€™s Season of the Drifter Begins March 5th

Destiny 2ā€™s Season of the Drifter starts March 5th, and this is available for all players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Players who own the DLC will get access to new activities such as Gambit Prime and The Reckoning. Two new game modes will also be made available and will provide players with new gear, challenges, and lore on the mysterious Nine. Players who donā€™t own the DLC will get to enjoy The Revelry spring event and a weeklong event called Arc Week. These will begin in April and runs through May 2019.


Fallout 76 Players Can Start Making Their Own In-game Booze Next Week

In the February 28 Inside the Vault article of Fallout 76, Bethesda shared details on whatā€™s in store for players when Wild Appalachia rolls out this March. The article includes information on the new brewing and distilling crafting system which allows players to ā€œcreate a variety of adult beverages, including beers, cocktails, wines, and spirits.ā€ Players can do this on The Brewing Station which they can construct during the ā€˜Wasted on Nukashineā€™ quest. These drinks will either give players a buff, or a drawback such as a hangover.


New RC Races and Arena War Content Creator Heading to GTA Online

Thereā€™s a couple of new content coming to GTA Online! From February 28 to March 07, 2019, players will get to enjoy new RC Races which features 7 new RC Bandito Races, including tracks around Downtown LS, the Arena War track and Paleto Forest. The Arena War Content Creator is also up, allowing players to create custom Arena Deathmatches and Arena Races. Thereā€™s also bonus GTA$ & RP, 30% off in select properties and Arena War items, and Vehicle and Mod discounts during this period.


Plague Inc. Devs to Add Anti-Vaxx Player Buff After Online Petition

Plague Inc. is getting an anti-vaxxer player buff in the game after an online petition in Change.org called for the developer to have it added. In an interview with Eurogamer, Plague Inc.ā€™s developer James Vaughn said, ā€œItā€™s great to see so many people sticking up for science! Weā€™re currently working out how Anti-Vaxxers will work in the game ā€“ we have a few ideas that weā€™re trying out and running them through our algorithms.ā€ Details on this will be released as soon as they are available.


New Hearts of Iron 4 Expansion Man the Guns Out Now

Hearts of Iron 4ā€™s newest expansion, Man the Guns is out now. Man the Guns is a nautical themed DLC and it brings tons of content to the game including improvements, a new ship design mode, strategic convoy routes, and two new alternate history scenarios. It also includes a host of new features such as new national focuses for The Netherlands and Mexico, and an update that adds fuel as a major resource. Fortnite Season 8 Lets Players Do Challenges With Friends

Fortniteā€™s Season 8 has rolled out, and this new season adds some tweaks to the gameā€™s gameplay as well as some new map areas and weapons. This season also updates Fortnite with a new Battle Pass. Thereā€™s a ton of tasks for players to do in the game, and to give them some help in completing some of them, Epic Games added the Party Assist feature which allows players to complete challenges with friends. Space Engineers Leaves Early Access, Free Weekend Announced

The indie strategy and simulation sandbox game Space Engineers has exited Steamā€™s Early Access. To celebrate, Keen Software House has opened the gameā€™s doors for players to try the game free of charge on Steam. The Steam free weekend runs until March 7th, and during this time the game is also available at 20% off should you wish to buy the full game.


Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be Presented at E3 2019

Cyberpunk 2077 will be making an appearance at this yearā€™s E3. This was confirmed through a brief tweet from the gameā€™s official Twitter handle, saying, ā€œFor those of you asking, yes, we will be at E3 this year.ā€ Cd Projekt Red, on the other hand, did not elaborate further on this announcement, but it is nice to know we can expect to see more of Cyberpunk 2077. This yearā€™s E3 runs from June 12-14 in Los Angeles, California.


Fortnite Season 8 Update Adds Weezer Island

Fortnite Season 8 is here and brings with it an island or the band Weezer, which will succeed Season 7ā€™s Marshmello Concert. The Island can be found in the Creative Mode, decorated with the iconic Weezer ā€œWā€ logo. On the island you can find a jukebox playing Weezer songs exclusively. This is reportedly a mutualistic cross-promotional effort geared towards showcasing Weezerā€™s two 2019 albums, and in return Fortnite garners even more publicity by association.


Black Ops 4ā€™s Barebones Playlist Has No Specialists

Treyarch has announced that specialists are not required if you desire to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 4ā€™s Barebones playlist. This was confirmed in the first installment of scheduled developer update videos from Treyarch. Specialists refer to playable soldiers you can equip when playing multiplayer. Barebones playlist is coming as part of the ongoing Operation Grand Heist, which is currently live on all platforms. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.


Anthem Loot Mechanics Getting Major Changes

Anthemā€™s next update will see major changes to the gameā€™s loot mechanics. BioWare is subtracting common and uncommon drops from the loot pool for players at level 30. The crafting material cost for masterwork items has been decreased to 15 from 25. The developer has also included inscriptions that only applies to the item itā€™s on when it is beneficial to the item and if it doesnā€™t, its benefits will apply to the entire Javelin. The inscription pools have also been made smaller.


Insurgency: Sandstorm Celebrates 500,000 Players

New World Interactive has dropped Insurgency: Sandstormā€™s first major content update in celebration of selling over 500,000 copies of the game. The update includes a new ā€˜Arcadeā€™ playlist with rotating game modes, five new weapons, a new firing range and performance improvements. The developers are extending an invitation to players who havenā€™t yet graced the battlefields by offering a 20% discount on Steam. The discount is available until March 5.


Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session Gets a New DLC and Birthday Bash Event

Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session has received a new DLC, Birthday Bash Event. This expansion awards players a chance to unlock costumes, sound effects, and greetings for the Taiko no Tatsujin mascot and Don-chan. Players will also get to play a Guest Session with famous characters such as Hatsune Miku and Hello Kitty. The event begins on March 1st and will continue through to the 12th of March 2019. Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session is available on the PlayStation 4.


Deep Rock Galactic Free to Play All Weekend

Ghost Ship Gamesā€™ co-op dwarf shooter Deep Rock Galactic is free to play until the 4th of March 2019. Itā€™s has been a year since the gameā€™s Early Access release, and in celebration, the developer is making it free to play for the weekend. The game is also on sale until the mentioned date but the developer warns that the price will be climbing thereafter to reflecting its expanded plans for the game. You can use this opportunity to try the title and should you like it, take advantage of the sale.


Final Fantasy 7 is Coming to the Xbox One

The Microsoft Store has confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 will be available on the Xbox One on March 26, 2019. This title was first released in 1997 on the original PlayStation. Those who have lived the gameplay experience will agree that the game is timeless. While it has existed well over 20 years, this is the first time Xbox One players will have a chance to play it on this console. You can now pre-order Final Fantasy 7 for the Xbox One.


Judgment Features Localised Subtitles

A tweet recently surfaced from the SEGA Europe official Twitter account saying ā€œWeā€™re pleased to announce that as well as having English and Japanese voice-overs, Judgment will feature fully localised subtitles in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish!ā€ This is good news for both the fans and developers alike because these steps drastically improves the gameā€™s accessibility. Judgment is currently available on PS4 in Japan and will release worldwide later this year.


Ys IX: Monstrum Nox Playable Characters Get New Details

Some rather interesting information on Ys IX: Monstrum Nox has been revealed as well as some screenshots from the game. Said info was extracted from the latest issues of Famitsu and Dengeki PlayStation magazines. These sources revealed details on the gameā€™s setting and the ā€œPrison Cityā€ Balduk. Along with Adol, all the Monstrum characters have been confirmed as playable, plus another mysterious character wearing a red scarf. Ys IX Monstrum Nox will launch in 2019 on PS4.


Respawn Feature Might Have Already Been Added to Fortnite

Fans found some evidence that suggests a respawn system might already be in Fortnite. After installing the Season 8 update, players traversing the map discovered a van with a hologram projected above it. The hologram resembles the default player character, and fans believe this could be a respawn vehicle. It would seem like a reach had Epic not said they are ā€œlooking into bringing it to the game.ā€ This mechanic would allow players to bring their deceased teammates back during a round.


Unity of Command 2 Officially Announced

2Ɨ2 Games has announced that their turn-based strategy game Unity of Command 2 will be released for PC in quarter 3 of 2019. According to the developers, Unity of Command 2 wears the sash ā€œEasily accessible yet hard to master.ā€ This is the long anticipated sequel to the well received Unity of Command. For the first time in Unity of Command players will encounter Fog of War as well as many other interesting features with neat mechanics.
