Elite Dangerous’ Squadrons Now Allows In-Game Groups

Elite Dangerous Beyond – Chapter Four will be adding the Squadron feature to the game, which will allow players to create in-game groups. Creating a Squadron will cost players 10 million credits, and those who make it will be Squadron leaders. Each Squadron can have up to 500 members, and are split among 5 ranks: Leader, Senior Officer, Officer, Agent, and Rookie. Thanks to this new update, players now have a more convenient way of banding together and explore the galaxy.


Second Civilization 6 Expansion May Have Leaked

A leak concerning Civilization 6 has revealed its second expansion. According to the leaked data, the expansion is called Vesuvius, and it will bring water districts to the game. Some of the data also revealed a Polynesian representative, images that depict an oil rig, an off-shore wind farm, as well as a third district that looks like an ocean-based bio-dome. these were posted on Reddit, which also included a release date of February 14, 2019 on the original post.


New Anthem Gameplay Showcases Javelin’s Moveset and Ultimate

New gameplay footage for Anthem was revealed and it features the movesets and abilities of the four Javelins in the game. These are the Ranger, Colossus, Interceptor and Storm Javelins. Also in addition to what was mentioned, the Ultimate abilities of the Javelins will also be seen. The game is now in its alpha phase and we are seeing that there is a great improvement in the game’s visuals and would probably get more enhanced further. Anthem will launch on February 22, 2019, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.


Spyro Reignited Trilogy Releases Frozen Altars Gameplay

Spyro Reignited Trilogy was able to share a new gameplay trailer for the Spyro: Year of the Dragon Frozen Altars. Here, you will get to meet a fairy that will give you a freezing breath attack replacing your fire breath. This new skill allows you to freeze your enemies and then break them into tiny little pieces. You will also get to see a giant snowman in the video. Spyro Reignited Trilogy was supposed to launch on September 21, 2018, but was later moved to November 13, 2018, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.


Steep’s X Games DLC Gets Launch Trailer

Ubisoft’s extreme sports game Steep is getting a new DLC pack which will bring players to the X Games! The X Games DLC takes players to an Alaskan village where a number of high-adrenaline extreme freestyle events are hosted. The events include Big Air, Slopestyle, and Superpipe. This DLC pack also includes Rocket Wings DLC which allows players to use jetpack devices in rocket-fueled wingsuit challenges. Steep’s X Games Pass is available now on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.


Experiment Gone Rogue Early Access Date Announced

A new sci-fi action shooter is set to hit Steam Early Access. The game is called Experiment Gone Rogue, and it is heading to Steam on November 21st. The game has two and a half hours of gameplay. It lets players take on the role of a genetically enhanced super soldier who was created solely for warfare. The game boasts of a smooth locomotion and teleportation system, dynamic gunplay, physics-based punching, and much more. the game will support VR devices such as Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.


KartKraft Now on Steam Early Access

Realistic kart simulation game KartKraft is heading to Steam Early Access! KartKraft features realistic kart physics, laser scanned circuits, as well as a never-before-seen racing sandbox mode. The Early Access build of the game includes 8 officially licensed kart models, a single player mode, PvP, different levels of difficulty, and customization options. The game is slated for official release by Q3 of 2019.

KOEI Tecmo announced that they have released a free trial for Dynasty Warriors 9. The free trial is now available on Steam, and players will be able to choose 3 out of the 90 characters in the game as well as experience the game’s story. In addition, the free trial also includes online play where players can pick characters out of the 6 characters available, with two warriors rotating each day.


Fortnite’s Patch 6.21 Brings Balloons in the Game

With the coming of the v6.21 patch for Fortnite comes some fun-looking, colorful balloons. The ballons are actually rare in the game, one pickup will have 20 ballons and a person can only hold six at a time. The primary fire button will inflate them while the secondary fire button will release them. Balloons will be available in chests, vending machines, floor loot as well as supply drops and loot llamas. Players won’t be able to float very fight with these as it only has a finite lifespan.


Forza Motorsport 7 Gets Hot Wheels Cars

It is the 50th anniversary of Hot Wheels and because of that, Forza Motorsport is getting a DLC adding 7 new Hot Wheels vehicles to the game. The vehicles are 2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker, 2017 Hot Wheels Rip Rod, 1969 Hot Wheels Twin Mill, 2005 Hot Wheels Ford Mustang, 1969 Hot Wheels Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport Coupe 50th Anniversary Original Version, 1970 Hot Wheels Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 50th Anniversary Original Version, 1963 Hot Wheels Volkswagen Beetle 50th Anniversary Original Version.

Blizzard Reveals New Overwatch Hero Ashe

A new Overwatch hero has been revealed at this year’s BlizzCon! The new hero is Ashe, a female gunslinger. Ashe was featured in a new Overwatch short featuring McCree. She was the leader of the Deadlock gang, a band of desert dwellers who are fond pulling off huge heists. She is a damage-dealing hero armed with a semi-automatic rifle. She also has a coach gun which pushes enemies away from her, as well as a dynamite that explodes when she shoots at it. She doesn’t have an expected release date at this time.


Bethesda Gives Out Fallout 76 Beta Players 3 Beta Keys for Friends

Bethesda announced its “Play With Friends” program, which allows players who took part in any of the Fallout 76 betas to invite three of their friends to join them in the next BETA. This program is available to anyone who has redeemed a pre-order code, or logged in to the beta. The three additional keys are found in the transaction history tab of your Bethesda.net account. This is platform-specific, though, so if you played on PC, the additional beta keys are for PC only as well. The next beta is scheduled on November 3rd, 10pm to 2am BST.


Hearthstone’s Rastakhan’s Rumble Expansion Launches December 4th

Hearthstone is getting a new expansion, Rastakhan’s Rumble, and it is set to launch December 4th. The expansion comes with 135 new cards as well as new mechanics. One of the new mechanics is called Overkill where players get rewarded for doling out excess damage to enemy minions. The expansion also brings a new singler-player experience called Rumble Run. More details on the expansion will be released within the next few weeks leading to its release.


WoW Classic to Launch Summer 2019

Blizzard announced World of Warcraft Classic at this year’s BlizzCon. The game is set to launch Summer of 2019, and if you have a World of Warcraft subscription, you will get it for free. While waiting for release, you can also play the game’s demo if you have a physical or virtual BlizzCon ticket. The demo is currently live and will end November 8th at 10 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 6 PM BST. There’s a 60-minute playtime limit for each player, though. The demo includes some of WoW Classic’s new features like Battle.net chat.


Heroes of the Storm Gets Original Character Orphea

A new hero is coming to Heroes of the Storm! The hero is called Orphea, and she is an all-original hero created for the game. She is the 83rd character to join the game’s lineup since its launch on 2015. Orphea is the daughter of the Raven Lord and has the nickname Heir of Raven Court. Those who attended BlizzCon, or those with a virtual ticket for the event, will get Orphea for free. She will be live in Heroes of the Storm in its next patch.


Destiny 2 is Free on PC for a Limited Time

PC players, here’s a free game for you! From now until November 18th, PC players will get Destiny 2 for free, and will be able to keep and play it forever. Take note though that the free copy is the vanilla version of the game which does not include the game’s numerous expansions since its launch last year. Deltarune Not a Sequel, Won’t Be Releasing Anytime Soon

Undertale creator Toby Fox has clarified some misconceptions on his next game Deltarune. According to Fox, the game is not a sequel to Undertale. He said that Deltarune will be set in an entirely different world than Undertale – with different characters that have different lives, as well as a whole new story. Fox also added that the full game won’t be available anytime soon. A demo released this Halloween contained only the first chapter and took Fox “a few years” to finish.


Hitman 2 Live Action Launch Trailer Features Sean Bean

Hitman 2’s release is just around the corner, and IO Interactive has released the game’s launch trailer. For its launch trailer, the company has teamed up with actor Sean Bean, who’s also playing the role of the first Elusive Target of the game, Mark Faba (also called The Undying). The launch trailer shows Bean holding a rubber duckie, stressing that improvisation is the deadliest weapon for any assassin. Hitman 2 will be released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 13th.


Valve Hosts $10,000 Artifact Tournament

Valve has announced a 10,000-Dollar tournament for Artifact! This tournament is done in preparation for the company’s new game release after a long time. The tournament will include 128 players and will take place from November 10 to 11. The Artifact Preview Tournament, as it is called, is hosted by Beyond The Summit and broadcast on SteamTV. It will feature a 7-round Swiss bracket on Saturday, and then a top 8 single-elimination bracket that will decide the winner on Sunday. Artifact officially launches November 28th.


Rainbow Six Siege Aesthetics Get Toned Down

Ubisoft announced that they are toning down some icons and environments in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege in order for them to work on a “single, global version.” This is especially true in China because the country has some strict rules as to what can be portrayed in games, and Ubisoft is doing this to comply to the country’s standards. Some of those that will be toned down are images of skulls, slot machines, some blood splatters, and sexual content.


Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links Downloads Surpassed 80 Million

Konami reports that Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links has been downloaded over 80 million times. The game has been successful since its launch back in 2017. It had 40 million downloads in just a few months after getting launched. It’s quite impressive how the number doubled considering it’s just a year and a half since it officially released. In celebration of this milestone, the company announced an in-game Commemorative Campaign which rewards players with 500 gems over the next few days.
