Rebel Inc: Escalation Heading to PC

Plague Inc developer Ndemic Creations has revealed its next game, Rebel Inc: Escalation, and it’s coming to Steam Early Access this month. Rebel Inc: Escalation is described as an expanded version of Rebel Inc which first launched for mobile devices last year. Rebel Inc: Escalation will have players maintain peace in a war-torn country, and features a full campaign, multiplayer, Steam workshop support, as well as enhanced visuals. The Early Access version will include five Afghanistan-inspired regions and six playable governors.


Sign-ups for Minecraft Dungeons Beta Now Open

Sign-ups for the Minecraft Dungeons closed beta are now available, Mojang announced during the recent MineCon. Those who are 18 years old and above and has a free Microsoft account can sign up through the game’s website. The website did not say, though, what the beta has in store, but it did mention it will be available “some time in the future.”


Planet Zoo Adds New Offline Mode

Frontier Developments announced that they are adding a new offline mode to Planet Zoo after beta players’ feedback show they were unhappy with the game’s Franchise Mode only being available online. The new mode is yet to be named, and according to Frontier, the new mode will “still include a full economy with both dollars and Conservation Credits, guest needs, Research, Education, animals and more all with the ability to create your zoo, with your vision from the ground up.”


The Terminator Launching in Mortal Kombat 11 October 8th

The Terminator will be available on Mortal Kombat 11 starting October 8th, and a gameplay trailer starring him will be live soon. A short 2-second teaser was posted by the official Mortal Kombat Twitter account, showing different Mortal Kombat characters, and also confirmed that the Terminator’s gameplay trailer will be available October 1st. The Terminator will be included in the game’s Kombat Pack alongside Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, Joker, and Spawn.


New Brain Age Game Announced for Switch

The Brain Age is series is getting revived, and Nintendo is bringing it on the Switch! The new Brain Age game features new exercises, and a lot of different things which will allow players to use the Switch’s Joy-Con. Alongside the game, Nintendo will also be launching a stylus for the handheld which players can also use in the game. The game will be available starting December 27th in Japan. The company has not mentioned a release date for Western players at this time.


NBA 2K20 Getting New Patch

A new patch for NBA 2K20 has been released, and it addresses the game’s badge progression as well as other components. Update 1.05 includes: fix for baseline dunks, buff on Pick Dodger to match Brock Wall strength, as well as fix for Steve Nash’s signature dribble style yo-yo ball bug, among others. The full patch notes for the update will be released soon. Update 1.05 will reportedly be 20GB in size.


My Hero One’s Justice 2 Announced

Bandai Namco has officially announced its new game, My Hero One’s Justice 2. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One next year. The publisher has not released concrete details about the game at this time, but reports say it will be a follow-up to last year’s My Hero One’s Justice and will feature new characters, including Kai “Overhaul” Chisaki who debuted towards the end of My Hero Academia’s third season.


Allies in The Last of Us 2 Will Be a Lot More Useful

Allies in The Last of Us 2 will be a lot more useful for players, Naughty Dog confirms. In an interview with Gamespot, the game’s co-director Anthony Newman said the allies from the first game have been criticized, and they made sure they rectify it in the sequel. “With a lot of effort and some clever AI tricks, every time you see an ally shoot an enemy, their bullets do exactly as much damage as yours do,” Newman added.


Arise: A Simple Story Release Date Revealed

Techland has revealed the release date for Arise: A Simple Story which was first revealed in Sony’s State Of Play stream. The game will be launching December 3rd exclusively on the Epic Games Store. Arise: A Simple Story is a puzzle adventure game starring an old village chief. the story starts from the end of his life, and players will be brought back to his past as he tells his tale one chapter at a time.


Into the Dead 2 DLCs Announced

First-person shooter Into The Dead 2 is set to receive two DLCs: Night of the Living Dead and Ghostbusters. In the Night of the Living Dead DLC, players will follow the story of Ben and his encounters prior to the events that happened in the movie. In the Ghostbusters DLC, players will be joining the Ghostbusters team as a rookie recruit and will be part of the team as they investigate a paranormal disturbance. Into The Dead 2 will be coming to Nintendo Switch on October 25, 2019.


Registration for League of Legends Clash Open Now on EU Servers

European League of Legends players can soon take part in Clash mode as it will be heading to EU this month. Registration for teams will be available until October 4th on EUW, EUNE, and RU servers. Teams must have completed rank placements, and honor should be above level two. Tournaments will begin October 5th and October 6th at 19:00 CEST. Clash is an opportunity for players at home to get a more competitive esports experience, so register now while you still can!


R-Type Final 2 to Get Another Round of Crowdfunding

The Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for Granzella’s R-Type Final 2 will get a second round of crowdfunding. The first round was actually done in just a week which was very successful reaching $914,688.11 USD. Although that was a success, some fans were disappointed that they were not able to back the game up. Granzella decided to open a second crowdfunding which is now open and will run up until November 1st, 9 AM ET. R-TYpe FInal 2 is set to launch by December 2020 for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.


The Last of Us: Part 3 Editions Announced

The Last of Us: Part 2 editions are announced. The Collectors Edition comes with the 12 inch Ellie statue, a life-sized replica of Ellie’s bracelet, custom SteelBook, 48 mini artbooks from Dark Horse, 6 enamel pins, lithograph art print, 5 stickers plus a voucher for digital content. A Special Edition will come with the SteelBook case as well as the digital content of the Collectors Edition. A Digital Deluxe Edition is also available with everything mentioned plus a digital copy of the game.


Hunter’s Arena: Legends Alpha Sign-Ups Now Live

A new 60-player battle royal action RPG game called Hunter’s Arena: Legends has announced their alpha sign-ups. The game offers a battle the demons and the demon hunters who are tasked to seal the demons and bring new hope to the people. There will be 60 players and about 10,000 monsters. The alpha is expected to have around 40,000 players having battles that support 60 at a time. The alpha test will be on October 5th to the 6th and another one from October 11th to the 13th, 7 PM local US EDT.


Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist Introduces Roster With New Trailer

Fast-paced action game where ghouls are at war with investigators, Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist has a new trailer introducing the Dark Heroes and Ghouls. The protagonist Ken Kaneki is the first in the roster and we also get to see Shu Tsukiyama, Nishiki Nishio, Touka Kirishima, Naki, Ayato Kirishima, Seidou Takizawa. Get to choose your side whether it be Ghouls or Investigators. Go at it with four versus four showdowns. Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist launches on November 15 for PC and PS4.


Beast Quest Launches for the Nintendo Switch

Beast Quest the game that is based on the fiction books franchise by the same name by Adam Blade is finally launching for the Nintendo Switch. Players will get to journey to the mythical land of Avantia and overcome the corrupted as well as the epic bosses. Enjoy challenging quests, uncover ancient secrets and gather all the powerful upgrades. Beast Quest is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Spacelords Update Heavy Metal Now Live

A new update is coming to the free-to-play four versus one shooter Spacelords and it is called Heavy Metal. Developer MercurySteam made the announcement and said that the update will come with the much-awaited increase in the weapon customization option. This option is the new Forge System where players are able to “build up to five different versions of the same weapon” using the parts that are earned during matches. The update is now available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Black Mesa’s Latest Beta Update Adds Five Interloper Maps and More

Black Mesa just dropped a new beta update for the game. The update comes with five new maps found in the Interloper chapter plus an additional three maps are planned after a final art and polish pass. Improvements for the godray performance is also available on all maps plus an overall performance in some Xen maps. There is also the introduction of LOD, model collision, and material type fixes. A lot of fixes for bugs and issues are also available and the complete changelog is seen on the game’s page.


Gearbox Celebrates Decade-Strong Borderlands with Events

Gearbox is celebrating ten years of Borderlands with five weeks of events in Borderlands 3! The first week of the Anniversary Celebration runs from October 1st until October 7th. Week 1 offers Bonus Boss Loot which means most bosses have an increased chance to drop Legendary Loot. Week 2 follows from October 8th to 14th with a Rare Spawn Hunt. Next up will be Show Me the Eridium! from October 15th to 21st, followed by Mayhem on Twitch from October 22nd until the 28th. The series of events will end on October 29th until November 4th with Spooky Surprise.


Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Epic Encounters Returning for Anniversary

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is celebrating its one year and players are given a treat by once again being able to experience the previous ship and mercenary encounters of the game. The murderous anniversary event is now available and will be running up until November 4th. There will be different encounters on a weekly basis with more Orichalcum payouts during the event. BlizzCon Virtual Tickets Available Now, Includes WoW Overwatch Skins

BlizzCon 2019 will be taking place from November 1st until November 2nd, and Blizzard has announced that Virtual Tickets are now available for purchase. Virtual Tickets will allow those who won’t be able to make it personally to the event to stream online. It costs 49.99 USD and will give viewers access to BlizzCon All-Access Channel, Community Night contests, closing festivities, and all developer panels. Ticket holders will also receive in-game items like WoW-themed skins in Overwatch.
