Final Fantasy 8 Remastered Available in Digital Only
Square Enix Japan revealed through a press release that Final Fantasy 8 Remastered will be available only in digital form. This is unfortunate especially for those who are anticipating a physical copy of the remaster. Rumors of it having a physical release sprouted after some online stores started posting listings for physical copies of the game, but with Square Enix announcing otherwise, those listings were already deleted. Final Fantasy 8 Remastered will be launching September 3rd on Steam, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
WoW Celebrates Classicās 15th Anniversary with In-Game Event
The gaming community is indeed celebrating the release of World of Warcraft Classic! Over at World of Warcraft, the game is celebrating Classicās 15th anniversary with an in-game event, and according to Blizzard, there will be more celebrations in the coming months. For now, thereās an in-game event in Battle of Azeroth, and players can take part in a special raid which challenges them to go against World of Warcraftās most badass bosses. Successful players will earn the Obsidian Worldbreaker mount.
Dying Light 2ās e# 2019 Demo Revealed
Techland has finally released the extended 26-minute demo of Dying Light 2 which they presented back at E3 2019. The gameplay showcased the protagonist Aiden Caldwell, lots of parkour, and of course, zombies. The video also showed some features the game includes such as a stamina bar, its first-person melee combat, dismemberment physics, and decision-making. Kingdom Come: Deliverance Gets Official Modding Support
Warhorse has revealed that they are working on adding official modding support for Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Warhorse PR Manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling said in an interview that modding support is the last thing they want to release for the game. āRight now, we are working on modding tools so that people can do their own stuff ā Steam Workshop is already working,ā Stolz-Zwilling added.
Assassinās Creed Odysseyās Fate of Atlantis Free Until September
Ubisoft has announced that the first episode of Assassinās Creed Odysseyās The Fate of Atlantis DLC will be free until September 1st. Those who own the game will get to try the first episode, Fields of Elysium, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Uplay. The Fate of Atlantis has a total of three episodes, and players can get it through the gameās Season Pass.
World of Warcraft Classic Has Queues All Over
World of Warcraft Classic is off to a great launch, and we see the gameās popularity with the queues players are experiencing since it launched. As expected, players had to queue for hours in order to be able to successfully login to realms. Reports say queues have reached the thousand mark. Gamespot has also reported that those who were able to get in the game still experience queues, and this time for completing quests.
Ashen Coming in December
Co-op adventure Ashen will soon become available on PS4, Switch, Steam, and GOG. The game first launched on the Epic Games Store and Xbox One back in December 2018. The game will be available on the new platforms starting December 9, 2019. Avid fans of the Souls series have their eyes on Ashen as it has similar gameplay. The gameās release on new platforms will include updates the developers previously released.
Warframe Gets New Update and Character
Warframe is getting a new update this week called Saint of Altra. This update will first become available for players on PC and includes the new Warframe, Gauss, as well as the endless Disruption Mode. The update also adds new skins, features and collectibles. Also, with the update rolling out, players will get more access to Riven Mode as its limit has been increased from 90 to 120. The Saint of Altra update will also be coming to consoles āwithin the month.ā
Conan Chop Chop Release Delayed
Funcom has announced that they are delaying the release of their upcoming action-adventure roguelike Conan Chop Chop. The game was originally planned to launch on September 3rd, but the publisher said that they will push the gameās release to first quarter of 2020. Funcom and developer Mighty Kingdom said they decided āto increase their investment in the project to deliver a bigger and better gameā so they had to delay the gameās release.

Twitch stats reveal that the game has topped 1 million views on the platform on August 26th, surpassing Fortnite. Rainbow Six Siege is Free for a Week
Tom Clancyās Rainbow Six Siege is free for an entire week! Starting August 28th, players will be able to play the game free of charge. The good news is all maps, Operators, and modes are available during the free week, plus players will also be able to play with those who own the game. Ubisoft also announced that the game will be available at a discount after the free weekends on September 3rd.
Humankind Gets Release Date and Gameplay Trailer
Amplitude Studios has announced the release window for Humankind. The 4X turn-based strategy game is the latest and most ambitious title for the developers so it will be well sought after by default. In addition, the trailer which was released with the announcement is very well presented as it wonderfully contrasts the preliminary stages of human societal evolution with the latter stages of development in the game. Humankind will be released in 2020 in the Steam Store.

Capcom is giving fans of Monster Hunter World: Iceborn the chance to play the expansion for consoles for free just before it launches. An Iceborn beta will be available by the weekend for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PlayStation 4 beta will be starting on August 10th at 12:01 AM PT and will end on September 1 at 11:59 PM PT. The Xbox One Beta will be on September 2nd and will end on September 4th at the same times with the PS4 schedule. Preloading the beta client is available for both starting August 28th.
Wreckfest Launch Trailer for Consoles Revealed
The fast action and massive car pileup game Wreckfest is now available on consoles! To celebrate Bugbear Entertainment launched a release trailer for it. The gameās development started in 2012 and it was first known as Next Car Game. It was then launched as an early access game by 2013 and became a hit on the PC. The game offers pure carnage which is oddly beautiful to look at. It also has a wacky side as well that you can see in the trailer a motorized couch going for a loop-de-loop.

Blue Isle Studios has released a brand-new trailer for Citadel: Forged With Fire. The trailer brandishes the spellcasting system feature with which all players interact. If you donāt already know, Citadel: Forged With Fire is a massively multiplayer, open-world game that encompasses mages are mythical creatures. In the game, your role is to amass magical essences and combine the elements to enchant weapons. The game is currently available for PC and attainable through the Steam Store.
New Information Available in Upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 Stream

Frostpunkās First Expansion and Season Pass Arrives
11 Bit Studios has announced that Frostpunkās first expansion and season pass have been released. The expansion is exactly what you would expect from a game that was voted the best simulation game last year. The name of the Expansion is The Rifts, and it features new maps for Endless mode based on the Arks, Refugees and Fall of Winterhome scenarios. The said mode will challenge players to build a city in some odd places so it really puts players to the test. Frostpunk is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Teamfight Tactics Spectator Mode Confirmed
TFT design lead Stephen āMortdogā Mortimer has confirmed that spectator mode is āAbsolutelyā a high priority for Teamfight Tactics. This confirmation came in response to a question in a recent Q&A livestream session. Teamfight Tactics was recently released and immediately became a top trading game in the gaming community so the mode request is understandable. The developer never divulged a timeframe in which players can expect the feature it is certainly good to hear that it is a priority.
