No Man’s Sky’s Free ‘Beyond’ Update Launches Next Week

Hello Games recently revealed that the next major update for No Man’s Sky called ‘Beyond‘ will be launching next week on all platforms. To hype up the release even more, the developers have released the launch trailer for the update ahead of its release.
Beyond will be bringing new major features to the sci-fi exploration game. The online experience has been greatly expanded and will introduce new ways for friends to meet and play together. In other words, expect it to be more like an MMO. Also, the entire game will now be playable in virtual reality, assuming, of course, you own the required hardware.

No Man’s Sky will support VR via both PlayStation VR and Steam VR. Hello Games recently shared some of the praise the VR mode of the game has garnered during a recent press event where members of different media outlets were able to try out the game in VR for the first time. Their reactions seem to indicate that if you can do so, VR will be the best way to play the game moving forward.
No Man’s Sky gets the free Beyond update on August 14th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
