Lords Of The Fallen 2 Got Rid of Developer But is Still On The Works
Lords of the Fallen 2 has severed its bond with its developer yet still its development persists. The game’s release has been overdue for some time which is understandable considering it had lost its Executive producer in the preliminary stages of its development. Defiant Studios clasped the batton thereafter and began working on the title but that leg of development ended less than a year later. Currently, the plan is to complete the project in-house at CI Games. A new release window has not yet been disclosed.
Total War: Three Kingdoms Fan Granted Early Access as Last Wish
Creative Assembly became a personification of benevolence when it granted a player’s dying wish, which was to play Total War: Three Kingdoms. This came to pass when a Redditor named TheMissingLink5 posted on Reddit expressing that his younger brother was terminally ill with leukemia and feared he would not get to play the game before he passes. Said post caught a Creative Assembly worker’s attention who then queued the wish-granting process. Total War: Three Kingdoms officially drops on May 24, 2019.
Reveal Trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Toreador Clan Shared
Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2’s hedonistic Toreador clan has been revealed to the gaming community. The clan was introduced in the game’s latest trailer where the self-proclaimed “hotties of the undead world” are displayed. According to the developer, Toreador vampires are obsessed with beauty and art which is their incentive for adding musicians and painters to their collection of creative hedonists. One member of the Toreador clan even labels herself “a Beautiful way to die”.
New Xbox One Update Out Now
The Xbox One’s May 2019 update is currently live and it features improvements to the friends list, messages, and games and apps. As of the said update, the friends list has icons that show the platform that friends are playing. In addition, the messages app now prioritizes messages sent from friends and people with whom you have spoken. As for the messages from unknown contacts, they can now be found in another dedicated table their own dedicated tab.
Massive Horse Graves Are Being Seen Across Red Dead Online
Rockstar recently issued a statement confirming that Red Dead Online’s Ominous fields of dead horses bug has been fixed. The bug in question is one that caused piles of dead horses to frequently appear. Fans had speculated that the dead horses was intentional and a part of an elaborate teaser; a theory that was accepted until the developer attached the appropriate bug title. Some players reported seeing a reduced number of animals in the game and this issue was also resolved.
System Shock 3 Might be Self-published by OtherSide
OtherSide will self-publish System Shock 3 if needs be but the studio would rather save themselves the trouble and are currently combing through prospects. Previously, Starbreeze Studios possessed the rights to the game until unexpected financial issues threw it for a loop causing it to sell the System Shock 3 publishing rights back to developer OtherSide Entertainment. There has been no official date scheduled for System Shock 3’s release.
Necrobarista Release Date Shared
ROUTE 59 has finally announced the release date for its visual novel, Necrobarista. For those who don’t already know, Necrobarista is a game about serving coffee, meeting ghosts, and playing with knives. The game was first revealed a few years ago at PAX Australia and has been in development for over five years. Now players will look towards the 8th of August when they will have a chance to indulge in ROUTE 59 labour of love. The game will be available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Dinosaurs Teased in Battlefield 5
A popular YouTuber named JackFrags published a video presenting evidence supporting the possibility of dinosaurs being added to Battlefield 5. In response to this video and other conspiracy theorists, some Battlefield 5 developers at DICE have posted tweets with GIFs featuring the Jurassic Park series. However, the developers have not confirmed any of the speculations so now players will look to E3 2019 where Battlefield 5 will be on display.
Fallout 76 “Project Paradise” Announced
Bethesda has announced a new underground region named ‘Project Paradise. Said region is a part of an update which also comes with many bug fixes. Since the game dropped a few months ago, players have been complaining about its buggy state and its lack of compelling content. Consequently, the developers have made a priority to improve the game’s performance as well as add new “compelling” content. On May 21, 2019, players will see first hand, the changes take effect.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 to Have Single Player Campaign
According to Kotaku’s sources Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 will come with singleplayer campaign mode equipped in 2020. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was well received by players and did very well but it was not without criticism. One major criticism it faced was the lack of a singleplayer campaign mode. Now it appears, Treyarch will be righting that wrong in the next title in the series. It is likely Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 will be featured at E3 2019 and this is one possible topic the developers may expound upon.
Rescue HQ The Tycoon To Launch On May 28
Stillalive Studios and Aerosoft recently announced that their management simulation game Rescue HQ: The Tycoon will be releasing for PC on May 28, 2019. In the game, your goal is to manage a central command center of first responders which includes police, firefighters, and paramedics. You can even hire and train new recruits in an effort to expand your HQ, and respond to emergencies across the city. Rescue HQ: The Tycoon will be attainable for PC through Steam.
Rage 2 Weekly Community Challenges Announced
Rage 2 devs thought of some weekly community challenges to get the community engaged. Each challenge will kick off on a Friday, in fact, one is already ongoing. From May 17 to 23 is the Kill Trials of the Vomit Comet where you have to work together to kill 100 million baddies. The second challenge is from May 24 to 30 called Kill Shit, Get Paid where you have to clear two hundred fifty thousand enemy camps. The last on the list is Bring The Ruckus from May 31 to June 6. Clear these and get cool skins.
Overwatch Anniversary Adds Dance Moves For Baptiste, Ashe, and Wrecking Ball
The Overwatch anniversary event is here! That is right, Overwatch is three years old and is still going strong. In addition to the previously reported new skins, seasonal brawls and a free trial week that this event will come with, some dance moves are also being made available. The dance emotes are actually for the newcomers who are Baptiste, Ashe, and Wrecking Ball. Get to see them strut their stuff with the cool new emotes. There are also some new sprays and new voice lines available.
2K Stops Borderlands 3 PC Pre-Orders in Epic Mega Sale
The PC version of Borderlands 3 has been pulled out by publisher 2K from the Epic Games Store Mega Sale. No exact explanation was given for the removal but they did say that they are working closely with Epic about this. Earlier in the launch of the Epic Games Store sale, some developers had already opted out not wanting their games to be devalued at an earlier time. The Epic Games Store mega sale is placing a ten dollar discount on every game that is over fourteen dollars and ninety-nine cents.
New Hearthstone Balance Changes Revealed
Hearthstone is getting some balance changes for the Rogue class. The biggest of the changes for this class is for the preparation. An example of this is the cost reduction of the next spell from 3 to 2. The EVIL Miscreant card’s health has been reduced from 5 to 4 and the Raiding Party now costs 4 mana instead of 3. The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms Announced
Modiphius Entertainment has announced The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms which is a miniature adventure game with the core mechanics of 2018’s Fallout Wasteland Warfare. The game can be played solo or in a group managing your troops, stamina, Magicka resources and the like. What’s even better is that this tabletop game is actually set in the fantasy universe of Tamriel. The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms is set to launch sometime around Christmas of this year but no specific date has been given.
Outer Wilds to Launch in May 30th
Developer Mobius Digital and publisher Annapurna Interactive has announced the launch date of their space puzzle game called Outer Wilds. The game is set to launch on May 30th this year. Outer Wilds is full of explorable terrain and space puzzles to solve. There are also some alien glyphs to decode, new characters to meet, the mystery of the disappearing moon and so much more. The game will first be available on the Epic Games Store and is actually a part of the current sale that is happening now.
Mortal Kombat 11 Glitch Turns Sub-Zero Invisible
A Mortal Kombat 11 glitch can make Sub-Zero invisible and it has not been fixed as of yet. The glitch is quite specific to activate. First, you must already have his end-of-round Ice Klone taunt, this is what actually kickstarts the bug. After the taunt, you must use his Kold Shoulder special and then there you have it, Sub Zero’s disappearing act. The only time that he will appear again is when he is hit by the opponent. The bug has been reported to NetherRealm, but no fix is available yet.
Art of Rally to Launch Later this Year
From the makers of Absolute Drift, Funselektor Labs has announced a new game called Art of Rally. The game still comes with the mechanics of the first game but has been upgraded with a more deeper gameplay mechanics. There will be cars from different rally eras, that include Group B and Group S classics. Also, iconic rally locations are available which include Norway, Germany, Finland, and so much more. The driving mechanics had been overhauled as well. Absolute Drift is set to launch this year.
PlayStation Productions Revealed, Will Turn Games into Movies and TV Shows
A new production studio has been launched by Sony Interactive Entertainment which is called PlayStation Productions. Sony plans to develop both film and television projects with this studio that is based on the company’s huge library of games. The studio is located in Culver City led by PlayStation marketing veteran Asad Qizilbash. The whole venture will be overseen by SIE Worldwide Studios chairman Shawn Layden. PlayStation Productions will have complete creative control on all projects.
Rage 2 Tops UK Sales Charts
Rage 2 was able to top the UK sales charts, however, as compared to the first Rage game, the second outing did not sell as much. Rage 2 only managed to sell about 25% of what the first Rage game sold in 2011. And to compare, Rage 2 launched on a Tuesday in the not so busy month of May. The first Rage game, on the other hand, managed to sell more on a busy October month on a Friday. Rage 2 was able to kick Days Gone from the top spot which now sits at second place. FIFA 19 still holds its ground in the third place.
Apex Legends Patch 1.1.3 Comes With Quality of Life Improvements
Apex Legends dropped patch 1.1.3 which is able to improve hit detection as well as make the indicator for low or no ammo more noticeable. The patch is actually light in content but the quality of life improvements that are available is very important. Poor hit detection usually is because of poor internet connection, so a new diagnostic system has been added.
