Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Shares Newest Mercenary 

Ubisoft has announced the latest Assassin’s Creed Odyssey mercenary and his name is Testiklos the Nut. With an unfortunate name comes a tragic back story to this newest mercenary. Testiklos is a gloomy character as he misses his brother named Testikles. They had been separated when they were just very young and because of that, Testiklos is not the same. He has had a lot of unstable moods and his coping mechanism for his separation is to break things. Testiklos the Nut is available to play now.


Darkwood Console Release Dates Revealed

The open world survival horror RPG called Darkwood is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this month. The game is currently available on PC and the PlayStation 4 launch will be on May 14, the Nintendo Switch launch will be two days after which is on May 16 and the Xbox One launch will be a day after on May 17th. The game’s developer’s Acid Wizard Studio has made the announcement via a video trailer. Darkwood is set in a mysterious forest in the Soviet Bloc which lets you explore fear!


Downhill Biking Descenders To Launch On May 7th

Descenders, the downhill biking roguelike video game is finally out after being in Early Access for 15 months. The game will be launching on May 7th and it will include the online multiplayer, the central hub, lobbying up with friends or riding with strangers, 4 whole new worlds that include Jungle and Favela. There are also new music, new tweaks, new modes, new customization, and lots of new stuff. The game will be available for PC and Xbox One. Descenders is free for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers.


Eden Rising Will Have A Free-To-Play Option

Nvizzio Creations has announced that their upcoming game, Eden Rising will be having a free to play option which will allow the players to join the servers of paid players. The free-to-play option is called the Explorer Edition and it will not have any microtransactions. Those who would want a more robust experience can get the Ascendant Edition which is able to unlock additional zones, all sieges, and armor dyes and more server benefits. Eden Rising will launch on May 17th.


Fade To Silence Is Out Now!

THQ Nordic’s Fade to Silence is now available! This is is a post-apocalyptic adventure that is set on a cold and deadly post-apocalyptic world in the middle of winter. You will get to play as Ash who is set to create a refuge for survival in the cold, frozen wasteland. Supplies are scarce, so in order to upgrade any equipment, one must collect materials by scavenging in the cold uninviting winter. Fade To Silence is available now for PC at €39.99 , PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at €49.99.


Just Cause 4 Dare Devils, Demons and Danger First Expansion Pack Released

Just Cause 4 has gotten its very first pack of the Dare Devils, Demons and Danger Expansion Pass. This comes with so much vehicular chaos that it will surely push your driving skills to the limit. The upcoming massive multiplayer online and role-playing video game called Bless Unleashed has gotten a new trailer from Bandai Namco and it is about the newest class to be added to the game which is the Priest Class. The Priest is both a healer and a warrior and is able to release attacks from a distance with deadly combinations as well as spot on accuracy. Priests are also able to heal their teammates as well as set down buffs for them. For now, no specific release date is available for the game.

The Steel Division 2 Beta Phase 4 has been announced and it will come with new content. The new content comes with 6 divisions which are Gruppe Harteneck, 9th Cavalry Corps, 5. Panzerdivision, 2nd Guards Tank Corps, 20. Panzerdivision, 29th Tank Corps. There are also three game modes which are Conquest, Closer Combat and Breakthrough, which features the brand-new Defensive Structures. Plus three maps which are Slutsk, Lyakavichy and Orsha North. This will run until May 6th.


The Sinking City Pre-Orders Now Available

Bigben and Frogwares announced that their upcoming game, The Sinking City is now available for pre-orders. To celebrate this, a new gameplay trailer has been shared and it features the mission called A Delicate Matter. In this mission, Charles is being asked to investigate the mysterious disappearance of the receiver of stolen art. The person who requested this is Mr. Throgmorton which is the head of one of the leading families in Oakmont. The Sinking City will launch on June 27th.


Epic Games Has Acquired Psyonix

Epic Games has acquired Psyonix, the independent studio behind Rocket League. This means Psyonix could be getting more resources to support Rocket League’s competitive eSports league. The deal also includes bringing Rocket League to the Epic Games Store by this year. Epic Games did not specifically mention whether Rocket League will be completely removed from Steam. “In the meantime, it will continue to be available for purchase on Steam; thereafter it will continue to be supported on Steam for all existing purchasers,” Psyonix said.

Borderlands 3’s Story Could Take Over 30 Hours to Complete

Borderlands 3’s campaign is quite long. In an interview with PC Gamer, the game’s creative director, Paul Sage, revealed that players could take 30 hours to complete the campaign — that is if “you beeline it through,” Sage said. If you have the stamina and time to finish the main story, plus filling your skill trees, and completing all side missions, and farming for guns, 30 hours is what it will take for you to finish the game. If you add the campaign DLC, this timeframe could stretch.


Shadow Bombs Added in Fortnite

Fortnite’s 8.51 update brought a new item to the game — Shadow Bombs. Players can throw these bombs and the user will then turn mostly invisible and gets ninja-like mobility. Shadow Bombs will allow players to do a double jump, leap off the walls, and even get a speed boost. The effects of the Shadow Bomb will last for six seconds. While the effects of the bomb are activated, players can’t attack, build, or loot.


Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Release Date Announced

Artplay has announced the release date for its upcoming action-adventure game Bloodstained Ritual of the Night. The game will first become available to players on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One starting June 18th. It will also be available for Nintendo Switch on June 25th. Bloodstained Ritual of the Night was first Kickstarted in 2015 and has since undergone multiple delays.


World War Z Sold Over 300,000 on the Epic Games Store

World War Z has another milestone on its belt. The game has sold over 320,000 copies on the Epic Games Store since it launched on April 16th. 250,000 of those were purchased in the game’s first week. This is great news, and is evidence that Saber Interactive’s decision to make it an exclusive to the Epic Games Store is paying off. The game has sold over 1 million units across PC and consoles.

Borderlands 3 Has Microtransactions for Skins and Cosmetics

Gearbox CEO has reiterated before that Borderlands 3 won’t be having microtransactions, however Gearbox has clarified that the game does, in fact, have them. These microtransactions, though, are limited to cosmetic items like character, vehicle, and weapon skins. The studio’s creative director, Paul Sage, also clarified that the game won’t be having any pay-to-win scheme.


Final Fantasy 14: Heavensward Free for Owners of the Base Game

Players who own Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn will be getting its first expansion, Heavensward for free. Heavensward gives players access to new jobs and flying mounts, as well as the An Ra race. It also adds more quests and dungeons. The expansion will also come with all five of its updates, including its trials, dungeons, and storyline additions. Heavensward is free from now until June 27th.


Battlefield 5 Firestorm Increases Players’ Personal Armor Limit

EA made some changes to Battlefield 5’s Firestorm and players will get to survive a little longer in the battle royale mode. In order to do this, EA increased players’ personal Armor Plate limit from three to five. Health of players who were downed have also been increased from 200 to 300. Permanent vehicle death has also been eliminated so players won’t be discouraged from using Transport and Combat vehicles in-game. More details on other changes can be found on Reddit.
