First-Person RPG Operencia: The Stolen Sun Launches 2019
Zen Studios has announced its upcoming RPG, Operencia: The Stolen Sun during the recently concluded Kinda Funny Games Showcase. Coming for PC sometime in 2019, Operencia: The Stolen Sun is set to bring players back to classic dungeon crawling, as well as experience a fantasy world. A new trailer was released during the showcase and it gives us a peek at the gameās combat, showing how players can use spells and attacks while fighting enemies. There is now word yet whether the game will also be heading to consoles.
Long Gone Days Release Announced for April 2019
2D modern-day military RPG Long Gone Days has been announced to be coming to Steam Early Access in April 2019. The game has a military theme, and is set in the present day. Long Gone Days is āinspired by classic dystopian literature and visual novels.ā It stars the main character Rourke as he sets out in the world while discovering the dark truth about The Core. He needs to prevent war from spreading further, but language barriers will challenge him.
Farming Simulator 19 Has Sold Over 1 Million Units in 10 Days Since Launch
Farming Simulator 19 proves to be the fastest selling game of the franchise ever. The game was able to sell over one million copies worldwide during the first 10 days of its launch. Farming Simulator 19 launched on November 20 for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It had new features like a newly overhauled graphics engine, new vehicles, as well as new gameplay features. The gameās developers took to Twitter to celebrate the news of this big accomplishment and thanked the players for their support.

A realistic skater sim from Easy Day Studios is coming to early access for PC on December 19th. The game is called Skater XL, and if you are thinking that the game is just a port of the developerās mobile game called Skater, that is where you are wrong. Skater XL will be a fully-fledged skating simulation. Its map is inspired by real West Coast locals and it will have a video editor as well. The game is more realistic as compared to other games that will allow you to do a triple backflip in a half-pipe.
MMO Ashes of Creation Battle Royale Open Beta Announced
A free open beta will be launched for the Ashes of Creation Apocalypse later this month as announced by the gameās developer Intrepid Studios. The game will have a 100-player battle royale mode. Plans for the future include a 200-player castle siege as well as a co-op horde mode. Playing in the beta will earn you some great cosmetics when the full game launches. The game is still in its early development period so you should expect some frame rate drops as well as other kinks in the beta.
Path of Exile Player Count Increases Following Betrayal Update

Black Ops 4 Operation Absolute Zero DLC Detailed
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is getting a new DLC called Operation Absolute Zero. This will come with a new specialist that is a hacker named Zero. There will also be new weapons like the Daemon 3XB SMG, SWAT RFT assault rifle, and the Secret Santa melee weapon. The map will also have a more winter theme, plus a new location called Hijack has been added. The new vehicle is called ARAV which is an armored vehicle. Balance changes can also be expected mostly for the SDM and Spitfire.
Steins:Gate Elite PC Release Date Announced
Spike Chunsoft has finally revealed that Steins;Gate Elite will be launching to PC simultaneously as its Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch editions. The game will be launching on February 19, 2019. The game features a fully animated adventure with stunning animations from 24 episodes of the Steins;Gate anime. This remastered version also features branching storylines, where each choice you make will get consequences, and will affect how the game will end.
The Church in the Darkness Gets New Trailer Featuring Its Characters
The action-adventure game The Church in the Darkness from developer Paranoid Productions has been announced at this yearās The Kinda Funny Games Showcase. The developers describe the game as an āaction/infiltration game where the story changes every time you play.ā Players will be tasked to infiltrate the compound of extremist religious sect the Collective Justice Mission. A new trailer released during the showcase features characters KeeAnne, Charles, Theresa, and Alex who players can encounter in the game.
ATLAS Launches on Steam Early Access
Announced during The Game Awards 2018, creators of Ark: Survival Evolved presented their new game, the pirate-themed survival MMO ATLAS. The game is slated for a Steam Early Access release on December 13th. This game is massive in scale, with the developers boasting that it is 1,200 times larger than ARK. It promises that it can hold up to 40,000 players in a single world. What makes this game different from ARK is that this one has creatures based on mythology, while ARK focuses more on dinosaurs.
Black Market Bonuses Will Be Easier to Unlock With Black Ops 4ās New Update
Call of Duty Black Ops 4ās first major update is called Operation Absolute Zero and will be addressing one of the communityās biggest complaints ā Black Market, which is the gameās tiered reward system. Fortnite Players Will Soon Wield Swords in the Game
Epic Games has just posted a new teaser on Twitter for Fortniteās next season. It looks like swords are coming in Season 7, with the devs dubbing it as āa weapon fit for a Kingā. They are, of course, referring to the new Legendary skin called āIce Kingā that can be unlocked in the new Battle Pass. Epic did not specify exactly when the mysterious sword will be making its way into the game, but it will be the first of its kind for the hugely popular shooter.
Danganronpa Trilogy is Heading West Next Year
NIS America has announced Danganronpa Trilogy, a compilation of three of the games from the Danganronpa series, and will come to the PlayStation 4 in the first quarter of 2019. The Trilogy includes the Reload editions of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, plus Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. Danganronpa Trilogy launches March 26th in North America, March 29th in Europe, and finally on April 6th in Australia.
Call of Duty Blackout Map Gets a Hijacked Yacht
Call of Duty Black Ops 4ās free Operation Absolute Zero update is coming, and it includes new content for the gameās Blackout mode. The battle royale mode map now has a hijacked yacht which players can find floating in the mapās northwest corner. In this area, players can find loot, as well as rafts which will help them travel back to the mainland. It also comes with a new scoped weapon. Blackout also has a new vehicle called the ARAV. Operation Absolute Zero will be available first on PS4.
Mortal Kombat 11 Beta to Launch March 2019
Mortal Kombat 11 was announced in the recently held Game Awards 2018 for an April 23rd release next year. Now, NetherRealm has announced that a beta will be held in March for PS4 and Xbox One. Those interested to play during the beta will have to pre-order the game to get a spot. Those who pre-order will also get Shao Khan as a reward. NetherRealm has also announced that theyāll be releasing an extended look at the game in a keynote happening on January 17th in both Los Angeles and London, and will be livestreamed on Twitch.
Geralt is Coming to Monster Hunter World
The Witcherās Geralt of Rivia will be making an appearance in Monster Hunter World! This is possible thanks to a small update Capcom will be rolling out by early 2019. Based from the trailer Capcom released, it looks like Geralt will be a longsword main. Also, a massive update will also be coming to the game by Autumn 2019, called Iceborne. It comes first on consoles, and coming at a later date for PC.
Doom Creator Will Release New Levels for 1993 Doom Next Year
Doom creator John Romero has announced that Romero Games will be releasing free new levels for the original Doom. The level pack will be called Sigil and itāll be released in mid-February to celebrate the gameās 25th anniversary. 18 levels will be included, 9 for single player and 9 for multiplayer. Those who want to play the new levels will need to own a registered version of the 1993 original. Romero Games says that Sigil is the spiritual successor of the fourth episode of Doom and will continue where it left off.
Warhammer: Vermintideās Ubserseik DLC Out Now
Warhammer: Vermintide 2ās Back to Ubersreik DLC is out now on Steam. This expansion brings players back to the original Vermintide, giving them access to the gameās most popular levels: Horn of Magnus, Engines of War, and Garden of Morr. Fans of the original game may feel right at home with this expansion, but they will also be facing new challenges as well as more badass enemies. The expansionās release to consoles will be announced later this week.
